Grin oh man you are hero member, if that account isnt bought you should have some experience how crypto works.

I can assure you it is not bought. I used to own a faucet and stuff loooooong time ago...

I used to be positive like you, but now I am not. When I started mining I made 3 euro a day with just 1 GPU. For me it has never been this bad.
The world has changed, that's why I think BTC won't rise that much anymore. It's not a bad thing -crypto will never die, but for me it is not making me enough money anymore. Good thing is I have a few GPUs for when I buy my Oculus. Cheesy

after bitcoin crash last year to 3k $, i barely mined my electricity costs. but i kept mining and in december i paid of all my rigs and made some nice profit...
hodl and believe Grin

Would that be better if you just buy and hold?

TO all the guys not making profit from nicehash
Please turn of all your rigs
The more rigs you turn off the less the difficulty increase
So please please turn them all off or sell them at discounted price
Crypto is dead
Better be quick before your rig is worth zero

For the people with cheap electricity, it is still very profitable to mine at present.
23  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 30, 2018, 09:42:03 AM
Last week Weiss Ratings released a report that assigned grades to dozens of cryptocurrencies based on a number of metrics, like risk, technological innovation, and other fundamentals.
There were amazing things in report.. One of them was that none of the cryptocurrencies rated received an "A".
Another surprise was that Ethereum received a higher  Cool grade than Bitcoin and Ripple.
Yesterday Ethereum surpassed $1,200, hope so next month it will be at above $1,300.

There is much more active development in ETH than any other currency. So it is reasonable for it to be B. It could also be the first A in the future.

i am a big waves fan. but something tells me that iota is very undervalued. more and more global players will jump on.

Have you bought any?
25  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Investing 100K in mining operation, which crypto to mine & hardware? on: November 12, 2017, 04:27:43 PM
Two pieces of advice to start with :
Never buy the most expensive cards (like 1080's or the new volta pascals etc) buy the ones that offer good performance/$ like the GTX 1060 or the RX570, that gets you to ROI faster.
Never mine multiple coins, mine ONLY whatever is the most profitable AT THAT TIME and exchange it for other coins if you think they will go up more in the future.

Thanks for the advice.

With the cheap cards, if you burn them, the cost of learning curve is low.
26  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem whit my graphic card on: October 29, 2017, 05:09:33 PM
In general, similarly-priced Nvidia cards will be better for equihash coins.

Back when Bitcoin and Litecoin dominated, AMD was the main practical choice for GPU miners, but things have since changed. Beyond looking at general trends with GPU manufacturers, also look at your specific hardware and test it out on multiple algorithms.

That is right. The nVidia 1080 Ti is better for ZEC mining.
27  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Problem whit my graphic card on: October 11, 2017, 11:15:50 AM
It seems just normal if you didn't do any OCs.
Rx580 is more suitable for ETH than ZEC. Change the miner.

You need the blockchain driver.

Ethereum Price Analysis: ETH/USD Defies Gravity

Ether found support after a sharp decline towards the $200.00 handle against the US Dollar.
There is a reversal pattern forming on the 6-hour chart of ETH/USD, but needs a close above $272.00 for confirmation.
Gains in ETH/BTC were limited since bitcoin price trimmed most of its losses, keeping ETH/BTC below 0.070BTC.

I think there is no need to worry about the price. If there is good development, the price will rise eventually.
29  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: August 27, 2017, 07:55:39 AM
Making businesses to accept bitcoin is not that effective at present, because if you calculate the users surrounding your locality the number might be less than five or ten. So a business with bitcoin acceptance won't profit at present, thinking of the future implementing at present is good.

Currently if your country has legalized the bitcoin or have given positive news regarding the bitcoin this will help the  local businesses to get the confidence of accepting the btc as a payment mode. In our country this is still unclear due to which business at present do no accept btc as a payment mode . Also explaining the bitcoin positives will help them understand more about it and accept the btc.

I told my merchants friends about the bitcoin and its advantages. Some of them have accepted bitcoin.

With Russia looking to cure its economy of a hydrocarbon addiction, a consortium of the country’s biggest banks is proposing that it explores a different kind of gas for the answer.
https://www.bloomberg.com/amp/news/articles/2017-08-01/russia-s-banks-prepare-to-hit-the-gas-on-digital-currency-use
The Banks on Russia started adoption ethereum, that is good an article for comunity ethereum it will be big for couples years later.

This has nothing to do with Ethereum expect that they are experimenting with Ethereum prototype, no Central bank will put their data on chain like Ethereum because is going to turn to honey pot for hackers

If every body uses Ethereum, there is no need for the central banks.
31  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: August 01, 2017, 08:04:43 AM
For now, I do not expect to see bitcoin prices reaching $ 1300 anymore. Well, I guess the bitcoin price for now is a very good price. Well, I expect the price to remain stable, or the higher the bitcoin price, and I believe it will happen.
What a coincident ! You are talking about downfall whereas OP was concerned about appreciations. But as per current trend I am praying those $1300 should not been seen for ever. I do speculate bitcoin may face some corrections in current rally but there will not be any more severe downfall as all the exchanges are showing solid volumes.

Imagine now, in near future, we will have to think if we will see 1300$ again because price rises frequently and so quickly. And also it has passed one month and op's dream about 1300$ is no simply nothing.
That's why bitcoin is so amazing.
Bitcoin must be amazing, I do not have any second thoughts about that. In 2013 I bought some bitcoins from ~$900 but after that I face hard time as prices went down to $200, but the good thing is I kept my bitcoin and now I am in profits. Not just amazing, bitcoin must be more than that.

This is the negative side of hodling. You see these huge changes happen yet hold through it all, never taking any profits or coming ahead btc by shorting. You may just end up back in  the red if btc goes under $900.

That is the stance I usually take. I do not care about short term volatility. I have hold since 2013.
32  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining $5.80 per day on a single 1070? on: July 09, 2017, 03:54:29 PM
5.80 per card?   really?

Not in the medium term.
33  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: June 07, 2017, 07:38:55 AM
hello, i need an advice. I have some ETH , and 0.8 btc. do you think its better to sell my btc for ETH ?
thanks for any answer Smiley

That is up to you, but I recommend keeping the both for a little diversification.
I have the same opinion.
But i feel such a stupid that i lost my chance to make 400% jn eth from the last year, because i lost my faith and also my vision of the situation, and i did buy HTC VR to make a rent, but now, i've got no time to realise my thoughts about makind that bussines on the summer time with a tourists.
So now, I'mjust looking on it, and remembering the time about ETH with 8-12 USD cost...
I must to do it, do swallow that bitter sliver, and make that expansive deal.

I also sold most of the mined coins last year.
34  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 30, 2017, 05:15:49 PM
The potential Ethereum is getting clearer to people! Just as Bitcoin stayed! There will come a time when Ethereum will not depend strictly on Bitcoin for value! What's not the case and what will happen if there is PoS?

Doesn't that worry you its unlimited supply and inflation may keep prices low? Or does no one care about that?

After PoS implementation a 0.8 % - 1 % annual inflation rate will be introduced to ensure the validators incentive and low tx fees. That inflation would not even be enough to cover for the lost and burned coins, so sorry but your statement is completely wrong and ignorant. Even if there are no lost coins, 1% annual inflation is ridiculously low in any economic model if you know a thing or two about economics and currency. Therefore Ether will not be currency. Stable coins on Ethereum will be the currencies and ether will simply be the fuel to run the network. If everything runs smoothly (which I highly doubt by the way) those 200 $ per ether would seem like peanuts. There would be a huge squeeze on the price probably hitting crazy highs before people realize that you don't need expensive fuel in order for the system to work. At a certain point the price of ether will most probably be on par with the price of Bitcoin - that is before the second dotcom bubble which will be even bigger and history will remember it as The Great Crypto Bubble Burst of 2020.

They have been talking about POS for a long time now and still nothing. Just talk. right now there is unlimited supply. They are just pumping out coins and then once POS price will crash. When does POS start?

The supply is unlimited, but the inflation rate will reduce year after year.
35  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: May 09, 2017, 05:21:33 PM
I am very positive that we will see $1300 again because the price from the fluctuation was climbing up again at $1200, and it's possible for the price to reach higher. We should not be worried with small dropings of price, and eventually as economy will surely move good performance its will recover again and will brought us better profit.
I hope the increased steadily with each passing day, as the price of the fluctuations is climbing again $1500 and the possibility to achieve higher prices, we don't have to worry about now, because prices will increasingly come up and bring us better than profit, which used to be at a price of $1300 did not influence on luck

I hope the price just rise 5-10% per week, not too fast. It is rising too fast now.
36  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: May 08, 2017, 07:54:38 PM
Crazy Year so far for Eth and all the altcoins, maybe 100 billion total marketcap by end of summer for all coins.

Yeah, banks will pour billions into every established centralized altcoin, so that people get distracted from the decentralized ones. Its okay. If banks give you free money get them! But take care, don't be the bagholder!

right becoin...XRP just took #2 spot...i did this for you, you lil banker you   Cheesy  600sat and $120mill cap when we spoke about it around 7weeks ago  Wink
are you a millionaire yet??

Do not worry. XRP is not a proper currency.
37  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: April 13, 2017, 08:26:29 AM
My sister told me to buy etherum.

Clever sister. Just make  sure to buy the real stuff: ETH. Not the scammy shit.

ETHF is the centralized fork. ETHC is the Ethereum from the beginning.  Do you say that Vitalik has created a scammy shit from the beginning?

Ethereum is a series of forks you dimwit. ETC has forked since the fork that birthed that unholy critter, so according to your thinking there is no more ETC.

If the fork is for the good of the coin, then it is fine.
38  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: April 05, 2017, 07:44:46 AM
At the current movement of price that has been showing up. Its going down and hoping that it wont go down in 3digit. And hoping that it will rise to $1300 again just like what happened after ETF rejection.
The ETF rejection did not make any changes to price apart from the sudden drop the market recovered pretty fast and even i did not notice the drop as these things when my part of the world were sleeping and when i woke up the price was all solid and only when checking the charts i did know that there was a drop on hearing the news and then it recovered but this time around it is different there are really news on the scaling of bitcoin and if it is not done and reviewed properly it is not good for the coin,so to regain the price it might take some time.

I think so. The price drop is mainly due to the potential of a hard fork.
39  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: March 18, 2017, 08:13:46 AM
A whole new generation of bag holders were born today

The price of Ethereum could rise further if there is good community support.
40  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will we see $1300 again? on: March 11, 2017, 07:40:03 AM
So when does everyone think we will breach, and hopefully stay over, the $1300 mark again?
Bitcoin has all the reasons to have prices like $1500 levels, so the rejection of etf application will not impact bitcoin prices that much hopefully, bitcoin prices will continue its progress normally like what we have seen in late 2016. I'm very much sure we're going to see $1300 again before end of this month itself.

The ETF news was a perfect opportunity for traders to manipulate the price in the short term.
That etf phase was good not just for traders also in those times bitcoin got promoted heavily through media coverages when it was outnumbering gold prices. Hence we can believe bitcoin will keep on attracting new investors like the current prices are good time for them to get into.

that is right. I saw many times that the bitcoin is mentioned in financial channels. More people will know it.
