Just a FYI to everyone. Since yesterday my wallet has been staking, I seem to be getting between 0 to 5.9 BC per hour deposited into my wallet as "mining" income.
While this isn't a huge amount of staked coins, Its nice!
Looks like you holding good amount of coins) is it about 1% annual in your case too, or the higher your balance is, the bigger rate you can get? |

Interesting concept, but I could not understand, how this is connected to solving medical problems? Probably there are some things in genetics maybe, that requires calculating power to solve, but what exactly the miners will calculate here?

DRK, HUC, BC are very promising and especially BC lacks exchanges. Btw you mentioned that exchange is US-based, but I could not find any information about your FinCen registration, so why USA then? IMO it's suicide to operate such business in US without proper registration..

The fake one had many interesting features, some of those was too good to be true for such small startup. That was the reason that I did not participate in fake IPO, although there was a moment when I was close to buy it)
Did not read the whole post, but looks like this one will not have anything like that? Then I'm affraid the victims will receive useless coins with price close to 0. Hope that I am mistaken anyway, good luck!

If I remember correctly, NXT devs had put few errors, including a critical one, to the source code for make cloning harder. Correct me if I'm wrong, or if this was already discovered?

It is NOT illegal to own Bitcoin in Iceland. You can mine it, you just can't buy it because they don't want foreign currency being purchased with Krona (because they know Krona is crap and nobody wants it). Good thing Auroracoin will be given to them for free  How the regulators will determine, where bitcoin was originally mined? What's the problem to order new logo for few hundreds (this one even not looks for few hundreds btw) and buy new domain names? In long term you'll loose much more if will share your name with few other coins IMO

You will receive BTS for PTS you're holding at the time of the snapshot. If you spend the PTS later, you'll still receive the BTS you had at the time of the snapshot. That's the meaning of 'snapshot'. PTS will continue to function as before, the snapshot does not have any impact on it. This. Also, remember to keep your wallet.dat or your private keys even after you spend your PTS after the snapshot. That's the only way you'll get credited for the BTS owed to you. Thanks, guys. Have you seen HunterCoin? They integrated multiplayer game to wallet (it actualy uses blockchain), and players can "human mine" that coins buy collecting them or killing each other. If game devs will be able to do something like this, it will be a bomb. But I am not sure that will be easy to do such integration, even if the game will be very simple... |

В NXT конечно PoS на порядок сделан удачнее, в долгосрочной перспективе я конечно именно туда большую часть средств вкладываю...
это тем удачнее что там 24 часа между сеансами так сказать pos, а тут 8? или тут таки 16? валет кстати нормальный для некста уже сделали? С моей точки зрения крайне неудобно то, что после генерации блока, баланс "морозится" на несколько часов. Тк я больше трейдер, чем PoS майнер, мне эта фишка крайне неудобна тем, что за эти самые несколько часов может возникнуть возможность заработать на арбитраже или "качелях", что приносит куда больше, чем 1% в год. Ну а когда баланс заморожен, то его никак не перевести на биржу... сплошная недополученная прибыль, а в случае с NXT можно и рыбку съесть и на ... не сесть как говорится) Там я максимум что уменьшу вероятность поймать блок, выведя часть баланса с кошелька. Вижу уже впрочем выход в том, что вывести с биржи аккурат в тот момент, когда баланс текущий кошелька перейдёт в Stake, тогда по идее будет стабильно какая-то часть монет свободна для спекуляций. Попробую как следующий сеанс майнинга поймаю) Но какова вообще причина заморозки этой, я не очень понимаю? Про клиенты некста, вроде даже уже и не один есть и даже с каким-то новыми фичами, но чотб не соврать, не могу ничего конкретного сказать - некогда было пока смотреть, в принципе после того как раз помучаешься с установкой оригинального сервера, вполне можно им пользоваться. Но не буду оффтопить, по NXT есть и так большой топик |

разобрался я с pos все с ним в порядке.... точнее со мной разъяснительную работу провели
а вот еще такой вопрос - надо 500 блоков после майнинга
на pos это тоже распространяется?
и как будет считаться время на монеты которые участвовали в pos, их возраст стартует с момента майнинга или через 8 часов после подтверждения?
Звучала цифра что около 8ми часов монеты должны отлежаться, прежде чем можно будет майнить PoS Вчера вывел часть монет с биржи, сегодня получил первое вознаграждение, пока там немного совсем, в районе 1% годовых примерно Есть ещё нюанс - после того, как монеты поучаствовали в майнинге, ими нельзя пользоваться 500 блоков, таким образом пока курса колебания сильные могут происходить, лучше держать часть койнов на бирже, чтоб при случае удачно продать и перекупиться) В NXT конечно PoS на порядок сделан удачнее, в долгосрочной перспективе я конечно именно туда большую часть средств вкладываю... |
