This guy who just took over the dev's nick has no idea, he is nothing more than "silkroad 2" , an idiot who will get his name added to the list of defendants, although most likely he got nothing to do with the original crime, I know me saying crime will sound harsh, but if there is a case then there is a crime, it's just not every day you find people willing to stick their names on a defendant list once a case has been filed.

Вот перед глазами пример 0daycoins, тоже кстати российский разработчик. За день на торговле COYE набрали клиентскую базу намного больше, чем ТС с таким сервисом как сейчас за год наберёт.

Thanks for the time and feedback. I think you will bucket currencies like stocks, without all the management per se.
1. Blue Chip Currencies - These are going to be your front runners, where the security, encryption and commercial acceptance are a viability to cause the general consumer to participate. In my view, these would classified as the BTC, LTC and Quarks of the world. From there, you determine what you feel comfortable in investing and manage your risk, whether it's price, liquidity, time frame, etc.
2.Penny Currencies (P&Ds) - These are the classified as the penny stock P&Ds. Just a shell currency, heavy premining and instant flip for the early insiders to generate ROI. The "shareholders" are left holding the bag in something that had no viability or sustainability.
3.Trend/Hype Currencies - These are classified as short term ROI plays where there is pseudo media attention and possibly value play. I use this particular example for COYE. The foundation of the currency may not be as strong as the blue chip ones, but due to the controversial nature, it may rise based on the attention.

Agree with you, the only thing that I would not put Quarks in the first list. Also, there are some currencies like 42 for example with some original idea, that are trading basically like "Hype" ones - rise first because of traders attention, but most will fall soon, when traders will switch to something new. I think that no more then 1% of alternative currencies will survive, most will die when the hype around cryptos will go down, and bitcoins will be common way of payment. Most of forks are used only by miners and speculators, and have nothing really different from "good old" ones, except logo))) But the ones who will form some community, will stay. |

Такие дела быстро не делаются, разве что в Северной Корее. Я так понял, монетка американская, у них подобные вопросы минимум два-три месяца решаются. Разве что пришли к соглашению до суда. Домен остался у разработчика, а они похоже испугались суда. Но похоже, что будет новый домен и тп, в английской ветке монеты активность не утихает)) |

Why not just use something like this as the logo? If he didn't sue South Park for cashing in on satire (they made money from the episode, right?) then he shouldn't sue the coin.  Plus I doubt South Park would sue for using the image. Good idea, also I believe mr.West will like the new image))))) |

You need to remember that no top exchanges are ever gonna list this coin in its current stated, there is just no point.
How the hell Coinye Coin name is related to Kaynie West? ))) Also if he believes that the current logo is his photo, he's really a gayfish)))) The original logo was his face with shades, but the logo was changed after the cease and desist letter although it seems they really haven't pretended to notice. Agreed. The logo that stands now is SATIRE. People think the logo is hilarious. You cannot change it. It has already been changed to it's current form to avoid the lawsuit. Looks like the only way for devs to save the coin from being 0.0001 satoshi, is to bring some media attention. But it's hard to say, how exactly to do this, maybe somebody has ideas?
