Can't find any quickstart guide, so maybe someone can point me here. I've downloaded the installer, and everything was made correctly, I am only not sure about what should I use as rcp passwords etc... What to do next? I've tried to run the exe file, but I am getting only "counterpartyd: error: too few arguments" message when trying to run it.

I just heard a rumor (no idea if it's true and it very well may not be) that Cryptsy isn't going to add Darkcoin to their exchange because they are going through the steps in the USA to comply with the laws necessary to be able to accept dollar deposits and withdrawals in every state. And they're worried that being associated with, "An anonymous Darkcoin that may be tied to illegal activity by the media" might hinder that.
Thoughts?
I am not sure about that, Cryptsy is already violating US regulations, accepting traders from NY, CA, FL and other states where state licensing is required. NY regulators probably will prohibit MSBs deal with coins that do not have public blockchain, but at the moment they are not sure about that. Also, even without Cryptsy there are bter, mcxnow, btc-e and other exchanges that are not US based CONCLUSION: BUY BUY BUY!!!! ))))) |

This coin has a major problem (Long and slow blockchain).
Any ideas on how to fix that? Future players will have to download the blockchain for a week or more.
An idea would be to periodically upload the blockchain to a secure place. That would make it less decentralized, but people wouldn't want to spend a week just to play.

Just got my problem solved, after I renamed my old wallet.dat back and ran the program again. Start playing)))

Installed the wallet, purchased some coins, downloaded all the blocks (was loooong). Now I want to play, but when I am hitting "New" and entering player's name, I see the following: "Error: CheckTransaction failed for transaction created by nameFirstUpdateCreateTx"
What is the problem?
looking at a previous post, seems something to do with your wallet, did you force terminate client at any time? as a test, just rename your wallet so it creates a new one, then send enough to create a new character and see if it works also you can try re-opening the client with -rescan It crashed few times because of insufficient disk space, I did not expected so large chain))) Just tried to create new wallet.dat, sent few coins there and tried to create a player again. This time I got a question about adding a fee, but right after it I got the same error |
