61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people still fall victim to obvious scam? on: June 21, 2020, 02:07:23 PM
I think it is because they are greedy and cannot control themselves. That is the only reason why people encounter scam projects in this market. If people invest in selective and patient, I believe that scam projects will quickly collapse and no one will lose money with it.
Greed may play a role but there are some people that are just inexperienced, the crypto space is still relatively new, more and more new people encounter this thing. Im sure if they get scammed they will do their research next time.
62  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ERC20 Wallet Address on: June 20, 2020, 03:09:31 PM
we often see the bounty thread "don't send erc20 wallet from exchange" it indicates that the ethereum exchange wallet is not compatible with other tokens, so you have to use another wallet like Imtoken, then wallet or myetherwallet to get access to some tokens
I think you can access the tokens if you own the private key, which is unlikely if its exchange address because there's a zero chance that the exchange will give you the private keys.
63  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Talk Token and Yobit on: June 20, 2020, 02:11:34 PM
it looks like TALK Tokens will become trash like most tokens from Jubilee,
moreover open trade is still long, ie in September, we'll see
it depends on how the token has an interested person. But if there is maybe it is a manipulation of diversion. not many people believe in this token. I don't think success on the market will happen.
I dont think there will be a single person that would take interest in this token, what would be the use of token aside from paying the posters and trading. there will be 100% manipulation of the token. because it's yobit.
64  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ETH better than BTC for payment? on: June 20, 2020, 01:56:23 PM
In my opinion, the handling of tx is better than ETH, but if the payment is I think it is better ETH than BTC, because ETH has lower shipping fees than BTC.
More scalability and more tx can be processed and that doesn't need a lot of time and the volatility can be avoided, as the result for this process and the sellers can secure their profit without worried about to get a loss even when they didn't hold their money. ETH is much better than bitcoin to be a payment system.

I agree with you, that in terms of the ETH payment system it is indeed better than BTC, moreover, the delivery is faster and the shipping costs for sellers are also lower.
Bitcoin has already answer for the slow confirmation times and transaction fee problem which is the bitcoin lightning network, i don't see that much people utilize this thing, i seen few merchants who accepted lightning. I think most of the users are still not familiar with lighting, but that will increase in the future.
65  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do I need ICO? on: June 20, 2020, 12:17:16 PM
Many projects giving fake promising then after they're getting scamming. So investors do not want trust ico even i would like ieo. At least if you need some funds for increasing development of your products. Even i can't imagine it because this time you can't make many investors i hope.

There are reasons that can give investors more confidence. Indeed the system still uses IEO, but to provide more trust. Projects that are doing IEO, there really must be progress. So investors see that the project is really good and needs funds for further development.
Agree, projects created without capital for development are difficult to succeed. They need to have some initial capital to help the project work and to do something to help investors trust the project. They can then implement IEO to continue raising funds
If they don't have capital the developers can just distribute the coin for free, like airdrops for example, in this way the dev can distribute the supply without doing crowdfunding.
66  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: June 15, 2020, 03:58:51 PM
I haven't seen people or individuals got punished of this that's why they got lots of nerves scamming people all over again and again.

It's really hard to track people online especially if they use tools to mask their ip/identity and that can be hard to track if there are no clues, i think the only way for them to get caught is when they're exchanging tokens to fiat, with the right regulation we can catch them.
67  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinmarketcap's new feature - Chat on: June 15, 2020, 03:54:52 PM
To be honest I have not noticed this feature yet. Do you think after Binance bought Coinmarketcap now, Binance will do some majore changes with the platform? So to start of the chat feature is appreciated imo
well at least when there is information that will be developed a platform does not have to provide information first because in my opinion when there is chat development is not very important because we all know that the coinmarketcap platform is only used as information from all cryptocurrency volumes and registered exchange places.
Binance probably planned to have people spend more time in the site, so that's why they created chat, i don't know if people will actually end up spending more time, better than nothing i guess.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Crytopcurrency on: June 15, 2020, 03:49:38 PM
Every one sees cryptocurrency as a means of payment, but I rather see it as store of value. Something like gold or real estates, but it is much better because nobody can steal it, even the political situation change in your country, nobody can take your  Bitcoins. Those who lived in communism know what I'm talking about. Smiley
Most of the people see it as both, but cryptocurrency is terrible if you want to store your assets because of volatility, it's really risky unless you want to take the risk you still be rewarded with huge profit, other than that crypto is also a product innovation, who knows where crypto will end up in the future.
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulations still have a chance? on: June 15, 2020, 03:41:44 PM
If regulations finally finds its way into crypto space it will give many people the nerve to invest in crypto, that's all I believe that regulation can do for crypto, as for scammers it's a different problem that regulations can't solve, those who engages in crypto should be responsible for their safety.
Scammers will doubt of scamming people when there is a full regulation.
Most of the scams in the past are coming from ponzi scheme and ICO, so if the market is regulated, ICO has to be registered and with that, it's easy for the authority to track those who commit illegal activities with their ICO, that's what regulation can do, it will not totally eliminate scams but it will help to reduce it.
I agree with you, just control the ICO, I believe this market will be controlled and there will be no more scammer in this market. The current market crash is because ICOs have destroyed and caused a lot of people to lose faith in this market.
The main problem is how you can do that on the open market like crypto when everyone able even creates their own contract and listed it into the exchange site (scam exchange site).
That needs a huge pressure to make it happen.
I don't really see a problem if an ico is listed in a shady exchange,  people would be cautious if the exchange has a terrible reputation, i think gullible people would only fall for it.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: June 15, 2020, 03:25:39 PM
All can be summery down in one word: Greed. It makes them blind and overlooks anything point out that this is a scam. People won't admit and try to blame because of this information, because of that impersonation but deep down, they know things are not right but still put their money in it.
Scammers are good at faking information, it's really hard to tell which project is legit and which is a scam if you don't have the knowledge to verify if the team is legit and actually exist. I don't really blame people if they fell for a scam, most of the time they don't have experience.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: June 13, 2020, 04:07:22 PM
Yes, there is always a chance for a good rewards in bounty projects, if the bounty campaign only limits their participants joining jn their project, then definitely the rewards stakes would be divided into high rewards. Some of bounty projects like these are posted on services sections that are also requiring high rank mbers joining into their signature bounty campaigns.
I doubt the project developers would want to limit the participants, they're creating a bounty campaign to get the word out about their project not to give money. Signature campaigns in service section is different though they're strict and has requirements to meet if you want to join unlike in a bounty campaign it's easy to get into.
72  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty hunters United we stand on: June 13, 2020, 03:51:01 PM
I think it's time for bounty hunters to start claiming their right on this forum, I'm talking about bounties that wants hundreds to thousands participants on their spreadsheet but plan to pay bounty hunters 5$ each for their 8month work, this is getting more ridiculous every day, IQ cash bounty is over and with the current price per token you will be lucky to earn 10$ to 20$, if no one is ready to stand by me I will stand for myself, what I want is

Fixed bounty allocation or
Limited bounty participants

We can't keep helping new projects for pennies, we should take actions
I don't know why you are complaining about the iq cash bounty,  you shouldn't join in the first place if you find the allocation low, it's not like that you're forced to join in the campaign, there's just alot of users in this site.
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies take my advice on: June 13, 2020, 03:35:54 PM
Risk management is very important in crypto space, if you haven't got one its better to plan one up, you will easily recover if you have a risk management planned, the most important thing is never invest what you can't afford to lose
Yes, and risk management is often done by people who are professionals and who already have a lot of experience in terms of investment, even though this is very well done by everyone including newbies in investment.
The newbies will always be following the trend and they didn't know what to do to decrease their risk to use the loan to trade or invest in altcoin. This is the worst idea to be done by newbies.

They must think a lot of disadvantage by using the loans to invest in crypto.
That's why they're called newbies for a reason. People should know by investing/trading carries a risk in general. The risk is greater if its cryptocurrency. Taking a loan to invest in crypto is just like taking a loan to gamble.
74  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty hunters and Investors, Who values Cryptocurrencies More? on: June 12, 2020, 08:51:56 AM
Investors in my opinion, because they believe in long term some bounty hunters just want to earn some money and a big part of then sell the rewards right away.
99% of bounty hunter will sell all token after getting it from bounty. They've lost a lot of money in the past when they held those tokens so they were scared to keep holding them.
I would sell my tokens if the coin is gonna be worthless in the future. I wouldn't sell if the volume is really good, i would hold the token instead.
75  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KCS or kucoin share is better investment on: June 12, 2020, 08:42:51 AM
I think most of the exchange coin are good investment, if there are good benefits of buying the coin traders would surely buy the coin and hold it, the price will rise overtime because alot of people are holding the coin instead of selling it, see the ranking of BNB.

78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: May 14, 2020, 12:04:26 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

Cheating it is in my opinion because already it was stated that there won't be any kyc but at the end of the campaign they now request kyc just to spite hunters, if you look at it, many hunters only join campaigns that don't require kyc (maybe because they don't have the required kyc document) and they can receive their reward without any problem,
But when you decide to introduce kyc after saying there is no kyc is clear cheating hunters of their reward which is bad.
I think there's alot if bounty campaigns with terms of condition that can be changed anytime, i already experienced this before, people should read the terms of condition first before joining the campaign, developers exploit this condition just to fuck with bounty hunters and bounty hunters can't even do anything about it.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO vs ICO my opinion, tell me yours on: May 14, 2020, 11:57:40 AM
To avoid scam we all prefer IEO now, isn't it? But ICO was a better success compared to IEO, back in the days it was so good that every single project were able to raised enough funds successful, until scammers start taking advantages, many loss were never recovered and crypto space loses many investors, IEO is just the only choice we have left now
IEO was really popular for a moment until the scammers took advantage of the hype. ICO was really popular before because of the bullrun, scammers would be there if there's a potential victims, because of the scams it gave birth to STO so developers can't run away with the money, i dont know of there's a successful STO project out there, even with IEO there's still alot of scam.
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cartesi is now listed in Binance on: May 13, 2020, 12:15:04 PM
I wonder what's making the price drop this much, the team need to work on something new to make the price stable, if Bitcoin drops more the price will collapse, Cartesi project is good enough and it doesn't deserve such price loss in a short period of time
I also don't know what's going on with them, the price has been going down ever since listed. And now it is going to the bottom and there is more risk than the price of IEO. Hopefully the project team and exchange Binance do something to help the price go up in the future
Investors probably lost faith that's why the price is going down, it will probably bounce back up if you give it time. I don't know in what way binance is gonna help, you want them to manipulate the price?

The price would probably go down more after the distribution of bounty tokens, the volume could probably tank the dump. It would be better for hunters to hold the token until the price bounce up.
