The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.
People screaming: HODL!!! It will moon someday!!!!
Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!
This makes me laugh inside. Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.
Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months. The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.
Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!
Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.
Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.
did you just assume all people can trade correctly and all people will hodl where did that idea come from there will be always people trade because they need the other crypto or they just trade for profit. did you assume all people have money to buy crypto and not all people can trade without losing money. the coins that are been hold by people is still part of the supply they can do whatever they want to the coin because they own the coin dont tell them what to do and if more people will hold the less people will fill those buy orders thus the price will go down alot then the price will go up alot if many people buy the coin and the spread is huge. |

Not an expert at this, but maybe the cryptomarket will go red every 1st-2nd quarter and then flash back to green at the rest of the year. This occurence are usually healthy specially for day traders who bought a lot of cryptos when the market was red. Trading will be such a joyous thing to do on the 3rd and 4th quarter of every year. this happen but not every year if you take a look of the history of the bitcoin price each year you will notice the price is down and the price is up every year i dont know if bitcoin will follow the price growth compare to last year i hope it follows the price growth in early 2017 then price correction around second quarter. i dont think trading would be safe in 3rd and 4th quarter bitcoin is volatile loss can be happen anytime. |

I agree with you, did not Telegram started their own crypto?? Soon google and every other company will start doing it. I wonder what the heck twitter is doing? i dont know where do you get the idea of google making their own crypto currency why would they make their own coin for what's the use their services has been free but there's also paid service. twitter did the right thing about banning since they are gonna scam their investors see those crypto ads saying invest on our project now to go into lambo land which is scam. |

I think we can but in order to do it we need to force Twitter to take a look at the propaganda machine behind that twitter account and be forced to take some actions against it.
it is a tough thing to do though. we may need to start a petition campaign to force their hands. it may take a while and a lot of effort but it is something necessary that must be done. it may not be obvious to some people like Twitter team but this account is in fact scamming people.
i think the account got bought by roger the tweets changed alot compare to 2015 if the owner did not sell the account people wouldnt get scammed and wouldnt get introduced on the fake bitcoin i hope the guy who sold the account get scammed by bitcoin cash. |

I prefer gold investment. Because gold has no limit to its use in the stock market and is very popular among investors.
And gold as a capital asset for me for the long term and in old age later.
your gold can be steal by alot of people including government with bitcoin they cant steal without your private key of your wallet and you can protect your bitcoin in alot of ways and bitcoin will grow more in the future with these adoption later on. your gold growth will be nowhere compared to bitcoin. |

Summer is nearing to an end and I am still hoping for the 12000 USD rise. Although these positive signs are not that reliable, I think I have the wherewithal to earn more just by holding a lot of bitcoin for this year. All of my ICOs are gonna distribute this summer and I am planning to accumulate as many bitcoin as I can. Thanks for spreading this positive news to this forum!  after this drop will surely hit 11k or safest prediction 10k i dont think it will hit 12k at the end of the month but its still possible. its bitcoin man dont doubt the one and only. just hodl on some top altcoin if you want to profit faster than holding bitcoin you need to hold alot of pieces of bitcoin to hodl and earn profit in the long run. |

check some ico rating websites and join the one who have the highest rating because they are gonna raise a large sum in their ico or even hit their hardcap just dont join the ones that are new join the one's that gonna raise a large sum of money because if they raise or hit their hardcap the bounty will be also large even you joined late your still gonna get a good sum of their tokens.

it depends on the project if you think they have a good concept they it should be good and check the roadmap also if it the coin would be good in the long term. if you dont know how to determine a good ico you can just check ico rating websites like icorating,ico bench just pick the ones who have the highest rating and your good.

i would sell immediately because after the bounty tokens have been sent there are alot of bounty hunter will sell immediately their tokens and if you sell it then buy again you have more tokens compare than what you got from the bounty and if the project is really good your profits would skyrocket if you hodl for a year.

obviously it would be ethereum that's why its on the number 2# spot on the marketcap its has alot of features that bitcoin dont have but i think the closest coin to bitcoin is litecoin and probably better than bitcoin low transaction fees and fast blocks like ethereum unlike bitcoin like 30 mins per block.

I see that many projects add 1-2 months to terms of token sale. But I hope that the sale of XYO tokens will end just in time-on may 20.
i dont think they will gonna add more months the sale is going on strong right now and 9k eth collected is already huge and there is still 15 days to go for the end of token and more people will gonna invest the at the end of the token sale. |

i dont like bounty campaigns and airdrop having KYC one purpose of kyc is to avoid money laundering why do we need to do kyc if we earned it by working we cant launder something we earned and probably they will sell your information to some advertising companies our information is probably worth more than the airdrop coins.

just check some ico rating websites like icorating,icobench you can see their rating of the ico's and the experts are the ones rating it there's also hypescore on icorating which project is the most hyped currently i think the hyped project have high chance being successful with the ico. for me choosing the top ico's on the rating website are the most comfortable project to invest and you dont need to worry about getting scammed.
