441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stop badmouthing new projects on: April 27, 2019, 11:15:21 AM
99% of ICOs are scam, I'm not saying they are not, we are all tired of fake projects getting released day by day but let's not forget that many companies are just starting to take huge advantage of blockchain technology, the experiment with blockchain technology is ongoing which will actually giving birth to more newer projects, its left for us to choose wisely, cryptocurrency is advancing....

1)old coins and tokens are good and many prefer to invest in them than newer projects to limit there risks, not a bad idea but I want to share a simple example with you, a master will never remain a master forever
e.g there was a time when android version 2.3 is the best on Android phone, so how many of you can still use the 2.3 when you've already have the taste of 7,8.0,8.1,9 OS? The difference  is marginal, newer projects will and should be able to surpass the old ones

2)binance is the most favoured among biggest exchanges we have in crypto space and the bnb token is growing bigger due to IEO whatever and bnb crossing to its own blockchain, not a bad move but do you think binance will be this great in years to come?  Experiments gives birth to more greater and more advanced ideas and I can boldy say that we will see better exchange that will beat binance in the future, take it or leave it.

3)monero is the king of privacy coins as they named it, in fact yes I accept, I am a fan of xmr myself but lately many new privacy coins are flowing in and the one I'm most bullish on since 2018 is veil, seems better to me, this is not an investment advice though, just sharing my own personal opinion that we needs more newer projects to take blockchain and cryptocurrency tech to higher levels.

No one is the most wise, you will always see someone who will surpass you, no matter what and I think it's the same thing to coins and tokens .
1994 best cars aren't the best anymore
Best old PC in the past can't keep up with today's hexacore PC's.
Take your time to do your own research, we still have many good projects that will come out and if you are the type that have the mindset of new coins are bad you will surely miss the opportunity

What you want to say is all about the technological aspect of the worldwide economy. There is no need to blame the teams for unsuccessful token sales. They are just a victim of the fact that covered the whole market.
you don't need funding to create a successful coin, if the developers behind the project are serious about their product then they will proceed with the amount they collected from their ico, i'd rather invest at projects like that.
442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs BitcoinCash Which will win? on: April 27, 2019, 10:59:13 AM
bitcoin cash wouldn't be able to survive in the future, while ethereum is already a household at the world of cryptocurrency and still trying to innovate, bitcoin cash is alive till to this day because they keep shoving to peoples throats with bitcoin cash is the real bitcoin and most newbies fall for it and they become delusional, in the end it will bite them.
443  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get $40 stellar very easily on: April 27, 2019, 10:54:36 AM
I have successfully submitted my documents long ago but it is still showing "in review". Looks like they are taking too much time to process my verification. Such a waste of time for $25 worth of crypto. My documents are at stake now.
I don't think it's worth to give your personal information to someone, especially it only costed them 25$ to acquire someone's personal information, you don't know what will they do with those personal information they have.
444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💥🚀[ANN] ATHERO| IOT |INTERNET OF BLOCKCHAINS| AIRDROP | 🚀💥 on: April 27, 2019, 10:40:26 AM
so they go with 20 million USD? they can buy many things with that money. I really hate people like them, they just take advantage and leave. nothing more is expected from this project now.
No one knows how much money is actually collected, because $ 20 million is only in the form of writing on the website during ICO, not real money stored in the wallet, it could be lower than that
In the end it doesn't matter how much they collected, the results would be the same, lazy development, no updates, silent developers, sadly this thing is most common to new ico's nowadays, the developers will go silent after funding the project, people should stay away from ico's for a while.
445  Bitcoin / Electrum / Electrum on: April 26, 2019, 07:43:06 AM
i just transferred all of my funds to electrum now, i have some few question about the wallet, why do electrum kept changing my receiving address instead of having a single address, and why do i have 20+ address in the addresses tab, with my funds spread in a different address.

EDIT: Thanks for the answers
446  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem of getting bitcoin in the future on: April 24, 2019, 06:16:38 AM
Bitcoin is the easier cryptocurrency to get from any part of the world  you find yourself. There are a lot of online services and platforms that allow people to exchange their fiat currency for Bitcoin easier and faster. It takes less than 30 minutes to complete a transaction and obtain your Bitcoin in your wallet. There is no way buying Bitcoin or owning bitcoin will become a problem in the future to come.
Hopefully this is true, because I think the more the volume of bitcoin increases, the harder it will be to look for it. maybe there will be various alternatives for altcoin to get it. however, we know that there are so many ways to get bitcoin for now. I think it will be the same in the future.
I don't think it will be harder to look for bitcoin exchanges because if bitcoins volume kept increasing then there will be new more and more services which will be easier for new people to buy bitcoin, then the volume will keep rising.
447  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India declines Bitcoin Legalization Again on: April 24, 2019, 05:57:47 AM
It would greatly benefit a third world country like india to legalize cryptocurrency and tax it, they are not smart enough to not take advantage of it, or perhaps they are preparing for legalizing it, who knows.
448  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Im new i have a question about btc and eth on: April 23, 2019, 03:38:27 PM
if your at loss then you probably bought ethereum at much higher price then the price of ethereum went down, not all exchanges have the same price of each token some may different, some people take advantage of that price different.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etheredelta Which one is genuine ?? on: April 23, 2019, 02:45:23 PM
If i can remember correctly a former developer from etherdelta decided to fork etherdelta because they are against the decision of the upper ups of etherdelta, i remember reading this from reddit a long time ago.
450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Can We Fought Back? on: April 23, 2019, 02:33:49 PM
The only thing we can do is report the project so new investor for the project won't decide to invest instead they will go for other project, and most problem of bounty hunters if they are gonna get paid or not, we need escrow for the bounty token so the developers wont be able to scam their bounty hunters, only look for bounty campaign that has escrow so project like these won't be able to gain traction at their ico stage.
451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Patience & endurance on: April 23, 2019, 02:25:15 PM
not all the time patience pays off there are times cutting your loss would be the ideal situation for you, you decide you go home with money but lesser than your original investment or go home with no money at all, there are certain times a project can't recover from loss that applies to cryptoccurrency aswell.
452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I fell for FOMO on: April 23, 2019, 02:10:43 PM
Back in December 2017 when mining coins are still damn profitable a friend told me about how much he was making from mining and I decided to check it out, I was hooked and I can't keep my mind off it so I venture into setting up my own, the first coin I started mining was electroneum but unfortunately I wasnt able to recover half of ROI back before bears take over the market and now mining seems hopeless, my question to miners like me out here is how are you guys managing? Will mining be profitable again when bulls return???
You should do a research before digging in investment type of stuff, like mining you can still call it as an investment because you are investing your money to make money, you can cut losses now if you think there will be no hope for mining anymore sell your coins and mining rig, mining surely will become profitable again when the price goes up again, the higher the price the bigger the return.
453  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Binance Coin a good choice to HOLD? on: April 23, 2019, 02:05:31 PM
If your a frequent trader at binance especially if you trade with huge volume you will benefit alot from just holding the coins in exchange, like fees and stuff, and the more people store their tokens to binance that means more tokens will be removed from the circulation but not completely, the price of binance coin will greatly increase from time to time.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your plan if you bought around all time high? on: April 23, 2019, 08:55:08 AM
I want to ask everyone who got into bitcoin towards the end of 2017 and is currently at a loss, like myself  Sad What will you do when the market goes up and you get your money back. Sell or just keep holding?
if i have bitcoins bought at the all time high price i would keep holding until the price reaches a new all time high price, that way holding bitcoins for a long time will be paid, but it's hard to tell what price will be the new all time high, i guess i will sell it at profit so i wouldn't go home with a loss again.
455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 💥🚀[ANN] ATHERO| IOT |INTERNET OF BLOCKCHAINS| AIRDROP | 🚀💥 on: April 23, 2019, 08:42:49 AM
Lets give this project a red a mark this project keep on fooling us lets report them Scam Accusation
We cannot report this project by accusing them of being scam. Must gather enough evidence so that people can trust the report. There are still their contacts on social media talking about whether this project is still running or not.

Allegations of scam for bounty participants because they have not been paid
While the project is still active and traded on several exchanges
actually Athero has provided a solution waiting for a new exchange at least 8 exchanges are needed then the bounty token can be distributed
Where did athero told this, im pretty sure the developers of the project already abandoned the project and with their money they received from ico, and if this is true how many months will we wait until athero already got 8 exchange, the admin doesn't even give updates to their project, last post is febuary in their twitter account, your being too optimistic.
456  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $1 million in 2020 because of mathematics: John McAfee on: April 22, 2019, 03:53:45 PM
man i hope he keeps his promise so we would be able to see him suck his own dick, pumping shitcoins really hit his brain, i wouldn't be mad if his prediction is right, but we all know what's gonna happen in the end.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do your research before investing in ICOs on: April 22, 2019, 03:47:01 PM
Not just in ico's investing in particular if your just gonna invest without doing any research then you should prepare to take all the loss your gonna face, if you can't stomach too much risk then you should do an extensive research about the project your about to invest in. and remember invest what you can afford to lose.
458  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Yobit sig camp? Legit or not? on: April 22, 2019, 03:30:51 PM
knowing the history of yobit they probably not, accept ng accept lang sila regardless of post quality, and i doubt that they care about the post quality of their applicants.

You Can Now Shop With Bitcoin on Amazon Using Lightning

Quote
Bitcoin spenders can now use the lightning network to shop at e-commerce sites like Amazon.
Crypto payment processing startup Moon announced today that any lightning-enabled wallet can now also be used through Moon’s browser extension.
Before this lightning feature, roughly 250 beta users already used Moon to spend crypto on e-commerce sites by connecting the browser extension to exchange accounts like Coinbase.

Well, I don’t understand bitcoin spenders. Where all this hurry to spend your bitcoins comes from? You should HODL your bitcoins, not spend them!

its up to them if they will spend it or hold it since they own the coins, but this is great amazon is one of the most biggest companies out there, any adoption is great to bitcoin, i wonder if people knows this.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the IEO cheating / Should I invest in IEO? on: April 22, 2019, 01:26:41 PM
Why do new investors consider the IEO a scam / Should I invest in IEO?
The fact that IEO is a form of mobilization is very smart because it minimizes risks for investors. However, there are two big problems that are common in IEO: the number of tokens that are being held too much by some people, if the token floor will bring a good amount to them, if the token is reduced to the floor then they will quickly take a loss or sell out of the market but the big risk is to be in new investors. Therefore, for those who have lost their money in this market, they lose faith and consider it a fraud.
Everyone please rate IEO projects on the exchanges

IEO could be used by exchange or the team it self as a tool to manipulate the price of the coin in the exchange since the crowd funding takes place in an exchange. Another thing is the number of tokens each can buy, a whale can easily buy a big chunk of the supply and sell it at a higher price.

A whale can easily buy a big chunk of the supply and sell it at a higher price --> Oh. That is probably the risk for small investors.
Is there any way to make the market more fair? I myself think that the regulations restricting the buying volume of the new exchanges make the risk decrease.
Ex: The trading floor may stipulate that each individual investor must not buy more than 1BTC or 10 ETH ... -> Reduce the whale's whaling
that would be censorship and i dont think people would want that even bitcoin still gets manipulated and also i dont think the exchange would want their profits going down, more volume equals more profit for the exchange.
