1  Economy / Reputation / Re: cryptomus_com why isn't the Sig+Campaign orking properly? What is their purpose? on: July 10, 2024, 03:02:58 PM
The representative has sent me a message that they've sent funds to my address but I have not received it yet, I hope they send payments to all participants and not pick who should receive and who should not.

If today you haven't received your payment, maybe you need to reconfirm it with the campaign manager via PM. because with current costs it should not require costs that are too high. or maybe he has sent it but with a cheaper cost setting. so you have to wait for it.
some participants already received their payments, and the campaign manager sent a message to the participants, which looked good. but hopefully, he will appear in the thread to provide a statement to clear things up. that's what we expected.

Thank you Awaklara I have received my payout and sent them a message to get a good manager to guide them on how they will properly run a campaign, if they want continuity of their campaign and to establish their reputation here in Bitcointalk.

Added note: I would like to thank the community for standing up for the participants.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Countless Telegram Mining Apps - Crypto Adoption or Devaluation? on: July 10, 2024, 11:32:57 AM

Their constant questions about when mining will end and how to sell tokens make it seem like blockchain cryptocurrency is just a way to get rich quickly. While I initially saw these trends as a positive sign of crypto adoption, I now worry that it's diminishing the value of being known as a legitimate crypto investor, as more and more individuals claim to be involved in cryptocurrency without truly understanding it.

You can't blame these people they join anything that will promise free coins that will lead to profit, without truly understanding the underlying technology behind the project they are joining, they are here for the FOMO and they are the kind of people who jumps from one project to another.

There are positive and negative impacts of these airdrops, the positive impact is this is the easiest way to build a community, and the negative impact is that  those who joined out of FOMO are quick to leave if what the profit they expect is not reached, they prefer short term profit to long term profit.
4  Economy / Reputation / Re: cryptomus_com why isn't the signature working properly? What is their purpose? on: July 09, 2024, 08:15:58 AM
I've tagged him and here's the type 1 flag, you can support https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3321
Since some members were paid, we cannot give him negative trust or support flag, but campaign management was unprofessional*. Let us wait for his answer, and then we must convince them to appoint a campaign manager and review the payments themselves.

* In addition, I asked some questions in ANN without a response

I agree I was tempted to create a scam accusation, but since there are members who got paid, I opted to wait for a good explanation; in my case, he might have forgotten to include the gambling section, but there are members who got paid posting in the gambling section.
His motive is to promote his project here, not to scam people, but the representative has poor communication and insight.
I agree that managers are needed; their experience in handling campaigns will give the platform good results, not like this.
I still wish that they do the right thing, get a manager, and move on to this. Maybe this project has the potential to become one of the longest campaigns here; we never know.

This same message was sent to me too but I didn't do anything wrong.  I did so except the ones they asked to post.  But I don't understand why this message was given to me.
I don't want to interfere with the CM's prerogative and point of view regarding eligible posts.
What you need to know, the constructive posts here is CM's subjective assessment and this is one of the risks of dealing with new people.

I haven't received any such message but haven't received the payment yet. Has anyone already received the first week payment from this campaign?
I counted more than half of the 30 participants who were accepted did not get paid, including 2 participants who submitted invalid BTC addresses.Reputation board is available if you think this is an issue worth raising.

I did not receive the payout I posted over the required 20 posts because posts related to gambling are prohibited, but on their rules, there is no specific rule that says so

I was tempted to open an accusation, but I would like first to address this issue here, there is no spreadsheet I think it better that the campaign be managed by a reputable manager here

8  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can free games be gambling? on: July 08, 2024, 01:12:55 PM
Free games, if it's a card game, are a good way to practice your skills so you will have to hound your skill when faced with a real game.

I cannot consider free games, gambling; its definition does not fall into gambling, some casinos offer it as a demo game to get the hang of it when you want to shift into a real game.

It's like practice or training for real games, so it's still good to play free games to asses our skills in games that we want to play.
9  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Hackers kinutya ang DICT on: July 07, 2024, 03:41:25 PM
https://bilyonaryo.com/2024/07/02/humiliating-hack-dict-website-breached-under-ivan-uys-nose/technology/

10  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Best cryptocurrency exchanger guys on: July 06, 2024, 11:46:09 PM
This exchange is only 7 months old, based on Whois

https://www.whois.com/whois/ukrswap.com

Checking additional information on the internet, there's hardly any; they should start marketing their platform the right way, and by having a representative here and creating an announcement thread, shilling is not a way to establish a reputation, and it sure to backfire.
11  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: CAN ANYONE SELL ME SOME CRYPTO on: July 06, 2024, 11:07:36 PM
I got Zelle and Apple Pay and Iím looking to buy some crypto . Really donít matter what crypto .
Scammers will contact you and try to scam you if you just buy any Crypto; give the information of the kind of Cryptocurrency that you are willing to buy like the Crypto should be at least on the top 20 or trading at popular exchanges be specific you just can't buy any Crypto, that's an invitation to scam you.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Russia Roulette real gambling game ? on: July 06, 2024, 06:45:09 PM

A game that's played at the expense of one's life, if you are unlucky that very day, will all end in the loser losing his life or being shot in any part of the body that the pistol is placed on, and the winner will walk home with the winning award.

Does this kind of game still exist? That's if it was ever played the way I read about it online.

And how can people take risk of playing such game ?

You must be suicidal to accept this kind of game. I don't know if people bet on this or if this exists in the underground. No game should be allowed that will take one's life; the government will not allow this and might charge and convict of homicide or murder those who perpetuate this kind of game.

I remember a movie in which all the convicts participated in this game. The winner will get freed, and the loser will die with a bullet in his hand, but its a movie and anything is possible in a movie.
There are a lot of crazy games people can think of, but it should not be Russian Roulette.
13  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ADHD People Cannot Be A Gambler What If You Know One? on: July 06, 2024, 03:32:55 PM
This is a sensitive issue, so you don't tell a gambler who you know with ADHD that he cannot gamble because you read it on the internet; the family should be involved because the family is the first to know their family's disorder, if they do not know that he involve in gambling, you should make them aware of the risks in case they do not and advice them to consult to their physician.
People with disorders trust their family more than their acquaintances, so its better to involve the family.
14  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Tap To Earn Telegram on: July 06, 2024, 01:31:38 PM

15  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: File a case in Finland remotely against a Bitcoinscammer on: July 05, 2024, 10:57:11 PM
This remind me of the consecutive threads about wanting to sue and/or wanting to know the whereabouts/personal information of particular LBC employees I've seen several months ago lol. Don't think I'm the only one who thought many of those threads were just started by the same person.

Imma give op the benefit of the doubt but if the same pattern has repeated, then they have likely came back.

We haven't heard from the OP in eight days. Your observation is right; this is online defamation, although in this case, the one being accused has a lot of scam accusations, too. There is no seriousness on the OP's part, or his intention is just to drop that line.
We now have a pattern like this now, and I think this is not going to be the last one created, if OP's going to come here again he should post how many BTC have been stolen, for us to figure out if it is worth going to court

I don't know how you came up with a concept like this in the Crypto community when Satoshi Nakamoto promoted free speech and gave us the code for Bitcoin for free.
17  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Practical methods to help addicted gamblers(2). on: July 05, 2024, 03:30:01 PM

If you also notice that these people are gambling as a source of income, you can help them find other, more reliable sources of income while advising them that gambling is not a source of income so that they no longer see gambling in that light.

What other practical methods can we use to help addicted gamblers become better, aside from professional help?

I don't think there is more practical than having the help of a professional; all the other will not work; when we say addicted, there are symptoms that need to be taken out, so only a professional can devise a plan to take those symptoms, and there's also monitoring, mere advice will not work.

Much more if he finds out that you are also a gambler, you also have to be transparent to show that you are a good role model as a gambler.
18  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Drake did it again! Another huge losing bet... on: July 05, 2024, 11:48:28 AM

In addition to his $250 millions, he is earning all the time. At least with music royalties. So even if he looses $500k in a month, his monthly total can still be a positive number. If Drake was really a reckless and stupid person, he would not be what he is today. I am sure that he realizes how much he can afford to bet and to lose. Even if he is loosing huge amounts, he is promoting himself like that, and on a distance of life, he will still be a winner. Consider those $500k lost as investment in popularity.

It's indeed worrying if Drake is losing 10% of his assets, but $200k to $500k is not worrying for him. Drake would not have accumulated that huge asset if he did not have a financial adviser or a road manager who deals with his  concerts and promotions. Drake's only betting on Stake.com makes us think that he is representing Stake.com as he is not known to bet on other gambling platforms.

As long as Drake is a popular rapper with a lot of promotion and what he is losing is not something that will harm his income, I think he is still good, I just hope the next news is Drake winning millions to even up the publicity of losing.
19  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Electronic giant company mag launch ng Bitcoin and crypto exchange! on: July 04, 2024, 03:06:09 PM

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you look out for first when choosing alts. Utility or hype? on: July 04, 2024, 02:20:33 PM
Since you mentioned long-term, then hype should not be part of the options because hype is for pump-and-dump coins like memes, OP should go for utility, team and tokenomics if the coin is that good the hype will eventually come and that hype is not just one time and will continue from time to time.
Altcoins like XRP, Ethereum and Solana are getting hype from time to time because they are altcoins for long-term holding; memes should never be part of long-term holding.
