201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: November 11, 2022, 02:25:15 PM
Look at the voting result, seems like we have a very exciting voting result here as there's no heavy favorite to win based on the pulse of the posters. I'm thinking, maybe I should bet on the underdog, I'm pretty sure Thurman would not go down in this fight, so I predict it will be Thurman winning via decision.

Thurman is trying to bring back that hype to his name, after that lost with Pacquiao he's now getting these opportunities to fight with the current champion, though Spence got that speed and skill sets that might bring him in a tough situation but the chance like you said is still equal for both fighters.

We can only speculate, but concluding the outcome is really hard to tell. It's interesting that both are still in their prime and can adjust to the way their opponent will execute their fighting style.

Personally, I'll take the other side, Spence, via a decision.

His comeback was impressive, so he thinks he is ready. The good thing about Thurman is that despite his lose to Pacman but he still did not losses his passion for boxing, actually, the fight with Pacman was quite close, so Thurman has not lost his morale as he thinks he is still in his prime.

This one is going to be a good fight for sure since Thurman is always been exciting to fight.

I agree between the Crawford - Avanesyan and Spence Crawford match I prefer the latter both are popular and tough fighters and Thurman is a former world champion and he is very hungry for a come back, we already know going to win between Spence and Avanesyan, but with Thurman, he  has a good chance to pull an upset and jeopardize the Crawford - Spence unification bout,
this fight is more exciting than all the previous Spence fights, and he will be a better-prepared fighter if he and Crawford win their respective fights and decide to go on a unification.
202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: We Feel All The Emotions When We Gamble on: November 10, 2022, 12:11:46 PM
Nothing like a roller coaster ride of feeling we become human beings when we feel everything, and this is why gambling attracts us whatever we do here we feel something, whether we lose or win, it gives us something and that something is why we always come back to gamble, in fact, there are people who don't care if they win or lose, they just want the feeling of excitement when they are betting, its the feeling not the results for them.
203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are those people that you don't want them to know you are a gambler on: November 10, 2022, 08:45:28 AM
Some gamblers keep their gambling activities secrete from people they have close relationship with. Having it in mind that if these people know they are gamblers,it might bring down their reputation or make them look wasteful. I hide my gambling activities from my Mom the reason is that she hates gamblers and calls them irresponsible people from her own perspective.

Are you such gambler ?
Who are these people you hide your gambling activities from ?
Give a reason why you don't want them to know you are a gambler.

My family and my friend if my wife knows it will nag me a lot and will always look for money if I spend it in a casino, and of course, if my friends know I'm gambling there's a possibility that they will tell it to my wife, as some of my friends are also friends of my wife, my employers also, my current employers hate people who gamble, so if he knew I'm gambling I will lose favor especially if I will request cash advances, we are living in a country where although its legal majority look down on people who gamble, even if you're a responsible gambler.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Does Gambling/Casino Ads Help An Addicted Gambler Who Wants To Stop Gambling on: November 09, 2022, 12:36:42 PM

And another question is, if you are addicted to gambling and wants to quit but discovers that seeing gambling Ads on the internet is one of the triggers that lures you into gambling again, is it possible for you to stay away from the internet until you are sure you've completely healed from that addiction?

You just have to expect it, gambling casinos can spend millions just to advertise their casinos on just about everywhere, if you just promised that you will stop, you will be back to gambling once you see the casino that you're playing flashing that anniversary bonus and waiting to be claimed once you log in, if you're serious about quiting gambling those ads and those bonus flashing will not get into your mind but to be able to do that you need to be in a theraphy, not just mere words that you are going to stop.
205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Losing $350,000 because of a friend, what would you do? on: November 09, 2022, 03:10:34 AM
He particularly chose Black 15 for $10K on roulette which he could have won $350,000 but a friend took the $10K and replace a safer bet. I know this is likely not to happen in real life. But let's say it did. What would you do?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fT4GcK6Dpkk
I was trying to look for Kevin Hart movies on Netflix so I found one. Turns out one scene is an unsatisfying win.
This is called betrayal if you are betting with your own money your friends do not have the right to replace your bet, I can only advise my friend to not proceed but physically manipulating the bet is something I will not do, because it might backfire, he is the one who put the bet so he should be the one to replace it, I don't know if the video you show me happens in real life there's the possibility that it has but not documented, If this happen to me I will unfriend the guy he does not deserve to be in my circle of friends.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: recommendation for gambling platform on: November 06, 2022, 10:27:03 PM
Hi guys currently I'm looking for a site to play using crypto since I've stocked up quite a bit any recommendations?

Members here will recommend based on their experience and the casino they are promoting I am both a player and a promoter of this casino Betfury, and I can vouch for its reputation and integrity in the community, they are a token-based casino you can profit in two ways by staking their token in their casino and by playing of course and don't worry they have good support and a good reputation here, just follow their terms and rules and you will be fine.
207  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Twttoken.com Potential Scam, Claiming Token Coming From Elon Musk on: November 06, 2022, 09:26:23 PM
If you're not following Elon musk and you don't know what are the marks of a scam project you'll easily fall for it, unless the project comes from Elon Musk mouth and from big media, of course, even mainstream media will cover this, but as you can see its a cheap template with no marketing at all coming from mainstream media, if ever Elon Musk is going to launch his own token he will create a news conference for it and it's not going to be a long crowd sale, it's going to be a short one like one week because it can easily reach the hard cap, given how popular Elon in the Crypto industry.
208  Economy / Exchanges / Re: $ Buying crypto to casino without KYC and fast $ on: November 06, 2022, 03:16:25 PM

The domain is about to expire?  That's a red flag.

If the owner of the domain has a balance on his account or the payment is linked to his card and he triggers an automatic payment it will complete payment the day it expires, but he can renew it right away if the owner opted to renew it right away.

The domain is already existing since 2005, 4 years before Bitcoin was launched, it may have changed hands, and it's not a Crypto project before and it may look different, we never know but the lack of marketing is questionable and we have doubt if this is legit or not, I prefer to go on a more stable and established exchange.

209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Dmitry Bivol vs Zurdo Ramirez on: November 06, 2022, 02:09:50 PM

A fight with Beterviev is very unlikely for now because of this boxing politics that deprived us of the fights that we wanted to see. Bob Arum and Eddie Hearn should set aside their ego for the sake of the boxing community that wanted this fight to happen.

This is what's wrong with boxing now, the politics, and it is something that should be stopped because it's robbing the boxing community who are willing to pay to see great fights and boxers because they are being deprived of establishing their legacy, only the promoters win because they can extract a lot of money from good boxers fighting low-level boxers.

One example is the Crawford - Spence deal which ended in Crawford fighting an unknown Avanesyan and Spence fighting Thurman.
210  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am opening a crypto casino / sportsbook what should we add? on: November 06, 2022, 12:40:55 PM
Hi well we are in the process of opening a crypto casino and sportsbook we hope is ready in one month

Some features of our casino / sportsbook:
1) 100% anonymous we are never going to ask you for any personal info or KYC BS it doesn't matter the amount
2) we are also going to have a live casino
3) we are going to accept privacy coins like XMR
4) You can place bets over the phone 24/7
5) Is going to be available worldwide

what else should we add?

Let us know Smiley

I can easily tell that you did not do a comprehensive study on how to launch a casino you're just taking us for a ride
Quote
1) 100% anonymous we are never going to ask you for any personal info or KYC BS it doesn't matter the amount
How are you going to do that how are you going to address cheaters and abusers you just open your casino to scammers to use your casino to launder their money, expect authorities to trace you and accuse you of condoning or supporting scammers

Quote
5) Is going to be available worldwide
Whoever hosts your casino will take it down for allowing people from restricted countries to gamble, these countries only need to contact your hosting provider.

You are launching a too-good-to-be-true casino when it's too good to be true in casino its a suspect to turn to a scam casino
211  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptocurrency Casinos Are Ruling The Signature Campaign Here In Bitcointalk on: November 06, 2022, 10:21:38 AM
It is expensive to run a competitive signature campaign on this forum, so smaller projects can only do this for a short period and then they have to stop it. The Crypto casinos make a LOT of profit, because they do not have all the operating expenses of a Brick n Mortar casino.
That's true casinos can sustain a long campaign and they have proven that Bitvest and 777Coin are just some of the casinos with a record signature campaign, top casinos in the industry like Duelbits,Stake, Fortunejack are heading to a record phase campaign because they have a stable profit because of the Crypto casino booming

Also, this forum is full of Crypto enthusiast and the perfect marketing platform for Crypto currency advertisements. It is relatively cheap, compared to TV Commercials and traditional advertising platforms that are not focused on a Crypto audience.  Wink

This forum is the reference for everything about Cryptocurrency, if they want to get the latest news update from coins/tokens that they've invested, guidelines on how to trade and invest, and discussion on just about anything Cryptocurrency this is the place to be, it's hard to be an investor or a gambler and you do not follow this forum.

This is one of

you have a plan until you get hit in the face
I saw on many of Zurdo's fights how he is very dominant and throws punches in batches but it did not happen here surprisingly, Bivol's counter and punches are so fast that there were times that I thought he can knock out Zurdo, in the round 9 and 12 I thought the game will be over Bivol is a candidate for the best boxer this year, he deserves coming out from beating two of the best Mexican boxers.

Hello,

I am a marketing specialist working specifically with crypto projects. I have 6 years of experience and a very strong team including: programmer, designer, lawyer, copywriter and shillers team.

No, you're not a specialist, a specialist in marketing is someone who can show proof of projects that he's worked with, you did not even mention that you are willing to show projects you've worked with, with proofs even via personal message, six years and you only have this to show to us.

I cooperate with:
• Crypto Youtubers, Influencers
• Crypto callers with large audiences and a trusted name
• Crypto-themed Instagram, Telegram channels and groups

My experience and contacts give you opportunity to advertise where it would not normally be possible..

I personally guarantee that my advertising will be useful and profitable for you.

My Telegram: @swaptocrypto or www.t.me/swaptocrypto

Mention these influencers then we will believe you, you cannot guaranty something without even showing proof what you have delivered, marketing is very important in every project but you need to show more not just this.

214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have your winnings lured someone into gambling ? on: November 05, 2022, 11:16:11 PM
As a gambler we see winning big as success is gambling, do you share and celebrate your winning story with friends ?

Have your winning story or celebration lured someone you know into gambling because he wants to win big like you

Guess I did this many times I usually treat my friends even if the amount I won is small, they may not tell me that they are also gambling but they are actively talking about sports betting and playing dice, I guess showing them your winning is the easiest way to lure or invite people to gamble, people know that you can make money from gambling, they just need a push to get them started and by showing them you lure them and justify their belief that there is money to be made in gambling.
215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terence Crawford vs David Avanesyan December 10 on: November 05, 2022, 12:36:33 PM
So got the time to look for David Avanesyan fight and see how good he is,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xUFVfAW8rI

This is against Josh Kelly, and Josh was really doing good in the first couple of round even caught Davis napping and almost got a knock down. But David is one tough sob, as he keeps coming back for more and when he landed flash, it was over for Josh.

However, I would say that he is just fairly basic and I think Crawford will win this fight very easy as he can break him down per round.
You should also watch his loss against Kavaliauskas, Kavaliauskas break him down with a lot of counter punching and Kavaliauskas only need one solid punch to break his defense, Avanesyan is only good on low-level fighters but when it comes to a fighter with good counter punching he is helpless, he lacks ring generalship he just throws haymakers but opens himself to counter punch he lacks lateral movement, this is going to be an easy fight for Crawford he is so used fighting this kind of boxers, and experts in beating them.
216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum deposit and minimum withdrawal. on: November 05, 2022, 04:23:13 AM
Someone with a strict budget of gambling with $10, decides to start online gambling after been told by a friend, but on signing up discovers that the minimum deposit accepted is above the amount budgetted for gambling. Does high minimum deposit fees from online casino discourage gamblers who want to stick to a budget and influences them to gamble with bigger amounts?
For new players, who want to try the casino first, so they can check for Provably fair, if the casino does not offer faucets then they should accept a minimum deposit even as low as $1

Quote
[/i]If yes, and that perhaps is a reason behind many other online casinos keeping their minimum deposits as low as $1, Could low minimum deposit be an encouragement for people to come gamble regardless of the money they have to gamble? Does minimum withdrawal encourage players to try again and keep gambling if they don't win up to the minimum withdrawal?

Yes its one of the factors to encourage gamblers to play, they can even use that $1 minimum deposit to refer their friends because the minimum deposit, I have a friend who treats his referrals for a $1 top up so they can encourage them to sign up, play and check the features
217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: November 04, 2022, 11:35:53 PM

I'm surprised here that Spence Jr. still not yet giving much detailed content about why the fight failed to materialize. Being silent is not a good thing for me unless he himself is part of that failed negotiation. Moving forward, Crawford now finally moved on and now chooses to sign another fight.

But we don't know if the negotiation about this fight against Spence will resume next year now that Crawford already witnessed what happened in their first negotiation. Should be one of the biggest fight this year but unfortunately, we might not witnessed it anymore.

Crawford is right in his decision to move on, its Spence's camp that keeps delaying the fight they want to extract all the money that they can on this fight, and Spence being quiet on the accusation makes us all believe that he agreed on Al Haymond's decision I consider Crawford the real A1 fighter between the two as he agreed to the terms but the other cannot, Spence should get rid of Al Haymond he is the stumbling to make this fight happen.
218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How are Online casino's and sports betting platforms coping? on: November 04, 2022, 10:38:28 PM
Online casinos and sports betting platforms are big businesses like we all know, and currently considering the economic situation of things around the world many businesses are affected and have been taking measures to cut costs in terms of reducing staff, taking loans etc to still be able to sustain operations. How do you think online casinos and sports betting platforms are adjusting to manage the situation?

You just have to look at new casinos coming and established casinos doing massive marketing to get the whole picture that the online gambling industry is very robust, compared to other industries online and offline the gambling industry continues to thrive, the pandemic even helped it to sustain and thrive we have a data to prove this since many people are at home at the height of the pandemic, the gambling industry tapped a new market from gamblers who used to play on landbased, the gambling industry will continue to flourish because its a form of entertainment and people wants to get out of the chaos of the real world even for a short period of time.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which has better odds, lottery, online gambling, or sports betting? on: November 04, 2022, 01:30:41 PM
Lottery – a game with established rules where players buy tickets for a chance to win cash or other merchandise prizes.

Gambling – a game or mutual bet according to established rules whose participants, seeking monetary gain, voluntarily risk losing an amount they have paid in, and where winning or losing is determined by chance, by some event, or by the result of a sport competition.

Sports betting - Sports betting is the activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome.

This is easy if you do all three you are into a lottery, online gambling, or sports betting, your winning rate on sports betting is high if you are good in analysis and passionate about the sports you are betting, on online gambling like dice you can win or lose based on your luck, but on lottery, you have to be extremely lucky because the odds are so high that it's easy for you to get struck by lightning than win in a lottery, I guess all the others have similar choices because its easy to determine.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fees on Dormant Accounts on Crypto Gambling Platforms on: November 04, 2022, 06:03:27 AM
Are you familiar with this? Or has anybody here been actually charged for having his/her crypto gambling account inactive for several months?
Before commenting here I checked some of the casinos where I have an inactive account and there are no changes to my balance
maybe just got lucky I'm playing in casinos that are not charging fees on dormant accounts

Quote
The monthly charge could be as high as 15% of the remaining balance. Or, worse, the entire balance could be withheld by the platform itself. Although it could be for security's sake and be returned upon request, who knows what conditions or perhaps KYC information they would require just to have your money back?

Are their casinos that implement this, this is the first time I stumble this information so gamblers will be warned if the casinos they are playing are charging fees

Quote
For the sake of discussion, let's set aside the fact that one shouldn't leave money in gambling account wallets. Do you think this policy is fair?
It's not fair you should only lose money from betting not from your account being dormant if you have $200 in your account then for some reason like being away from the internet for several months then you lose almost half or all your balance if they charge 15% which is very high.
