41  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 11:44:53 PM

So over to you now, what does gambling for fun mean to you as a gambler,? As I know that this phrase might mean different things for different people, would like to know what your understanding is on this.

Gambling for fun to me depends on the result if you end up disappointed with a need to extend your playing time from what you already allocated then you are chasing your losses and your mind is out of control and you think more of gambling.
Having fun and moderation go together, it's hard not to moderate the time and money you spend on gambling without getting hooked on it, you should give time and importance to what matters the most, and if gambling is interfering with this then gambling is not for fun anymore it's taking over you.
42  Economy / Services / Re: [FOR SALE]TOP QUALITY 10,000 INVESTOR DATABASE FOR SALE on: December 30, 2022, 02:10:42 PM
Am selling this top quality and high converting investor database
The database consists of over 10,000 investors active in investing in various web3 and cryptocurrency start ups.
Consists of
  • European investors
    USA investors
    Asian Investors
[/b]

All contacts come with
  • Emails
    Social media profiles
    Phone number
    Location and offices

This is encouraging spam and email bulk sending, a legit project will not employ methods like this, and if I one of those in the database and I see offers coming from emails I have not subscribed in or have no idea where it comes from, I will just hit report spam and that will ruin the project's chances, I don't know where you got these databases and this only proves that investors should be careful on where they send their vital information because this is where it all ends sending you spam offers.
43  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Moonbet.io SCAM/FAKECONTEST on: December 30, 2022, 10:48:39 AM

I think to solve this issue, the host should provide the table of the participants and their wagered amount, that way all the confusion and doubt will be cleared and this case be close or resolved.

I support this, a contest should be transparent and above suspicious because the reputation of the casino is at stake here, you're not giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars for the contest winner, if you cannot hold it for a hundred worth of dollar what more if you have payouts amounting to thousands of dollars, so be transparent and make your contest transparent and unquestionable, it will become a reference on how you manage your casino.
44  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Attributing wins or loses during gambling/betting to Ego or Simply Intuition. on: December 30, 2022, 03:39:16 AM

We may have been taught several times how to distinguish the intuitive voice from the voice of your ego. Although, it requires a lot of practice and patience to be able to tell their differences apart. One way I have learnt to tell the difference is this, as long as it involves emotions;
When I feel anxious, insecure, or tense from the thought of making a bet or during gambling, the ego is likely guiding me and I might likely lose.
Also, if a feel uplifted and also feel like the idea is coming from a loving, authentic place, it’s probably my intuition making the call, and during this moment I make great predictions and attract good luck in the form of winnings.

This is where dopamine starts and where gambling addiction starts if we attach all our feelings to gambling and find a way to attribute gambling to something internal, we will find ourselves hooked on gambling because we think we have found a way not to fail in gambling because of our so-called feeling of intuition, which is just all coincidence, this will manifest into obsession since you have a strong feeling attached to a gambling.

Quote
In trying to relate this to gambling/betting, am more or less interested in, how does your feeling/emotions affect your wins or losses when making a bet or during gambling?
Do you care to know if the bet made was attributed to your feelings of ego or if you simply followed your intuition?

This is finding a way to win and chasing your losses by engaging the inner mind to interfere the logic is addiction starts with a strong attachment to a subject, we find it not only in gambling but in many endeavors.

45  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible gambling on: December 29, 2022, 02:45:26 PM
To avoid, running after the loss, I have set up the responsible gambling in my account and it helps me a lot to control the bad beats against my will to recharge my account and ending up losing it all again.
For me this has been working for quite some time and it was a way I found to prevent me from throwing money that I need away.
Any of you guys uses the responsible gambling feature? If so, what do you think about it? Is it helpful or does it only gives you a sense of control
Not all gamblers knows this and many who knows this feature prefer to ignore this, they don't want to be limited when gambling they hate when they are limited because they still believe that they can regain what they've loss, which is really false hope those who spend much time and with huge bankrol willnot lije this feature, this feature are for those who suffered big losses and try to reform himself slowly.
Every reputable casinos have this feature for compliance because they promote playing on casinos as for entertainment purposes only, they don't want their platform to be the cause of one's person losing everything.
46  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 28, 2022, 11:12:03 PM

What about you guys? Do you have any addiction to gambling? What drives you to gamble? Is it the long shot of having a big profit coming in or is gambling simply a way of spending time for you?

Both go together have a good time and try to make money at the same time, you cannot have one without the other, it is hypocrisy if you think that you just want to have fun and don't think of making money or trying to make money only, these two motives always co-exist, and for me, it's better to enjoy playing before thinking of making money than making money a priority then try to enjoy the game, there's always pressure when you prioritize making money first.
So always check your priority.

This statement is enough to avoid the site. I mean I understand that you want users any how for the site. But does that mean that you gonna blabber anything out of thin air. These type of offers are only made by scammers. If you don’t want to make yourself treated as a scam site, then it’s better to be transparent. Moreover the OP looks very dull with all the texts and no images. Work on that and do a professional representation of the site. The site’s introduction is so bad that, I even don’t want to open the site’s domain and give it a try. I know I am harsh, but that’s the honest review you can get currently.

At first glance, you'll think that it is for the first deposit but the explanation for this $10000 bonus is hidden here

https://predict888.com/first-deposit-bonus You'll have to be a high roller to have a chance to get that $10k bonus and you'll be surprised to find out that the bonus that you will receive is not on the currency you deposit but with their native token MUSD so better dig deep there's a hidden agenda.

48  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Lottery players here? Pick 2, Cash 3, Cash 4, Pick 5 numbers in particular. on: December 28, 2022, 06:11:49 AM
The lotteries I have seen my family participate in used to draw the numbers on live using a special machine, that machine used air to randomly move the balls (numbers) around until one got selected.

You can perform any statistical analysis on that (implying you can find the whole history of numbers drawn for an specific lottery), but I believe that won't impact your chances to predict the outcome in any significant way, assuming the numbers are actually random and the lottery is not rigged at all. Too much entropy.

Let's take the case of the philippine controversial numbers that come out in a lottery where there were over 400 winners
Share of the top prize with the winning numbers 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, and 54 – all multiples of nine, majorities of them are interviewed and they all said that numbers all multiples by nines did not come from statistical analysis some say they dreamed it, some said were taking care of numbers ever since because it's their lucky numbers and some say it's random they just found out that all numbers are multiples of nine after they check their ticker before or after they won.
You can hardly find lottery winners that accurately predicted the numbers that will come out, the majority are random, or its their lucky numbers.

50  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling? on: December 27, 2022, 03:55:13 PM
The points you mentioned are not about how to win at gambling. But to keep gamblers' finances from getting out of control which makes their condition more difficult. If you say "how to win", then you should give your tutorials/tricks to win, while the chances of winning slots with that strategy are difficult, I believe that the winning results from slots will be obtained if you are lucky.

There's no tutorial or tricks to win in gambling I can agree that any post or discussion about How to win in gambling should end in a question mark because all tricks are exposed not to work.
What JanEmil posted is all correct and all are good pieces of advice the title should be How Not To Lose In Gambling because if you follow these pieces of advice you're not going to lose your sanity and you're not going to lose money that you can't afford to lose because in gambling it's not how to win it's how not to lose.
51  Other / Meta / Re: Where should I post my announcements? on: December 27, 2022, 03:17:24 PM
Please, can you help me?

I have two projects that I would like to announce.

One is a cryptocurrency exchange that supports trading between BTC and XMR.

The other is a bitcoin gambling game.

I'm not sure if it is appropriate to announce them in this forum.

If it is appropriate, which section of the forum should I announce these projects?
@Yogee already posted where you can create an announcement on your two projects but before you create announcements you need to check other announcements that are similar to your project so you'll get an idea of how to properly configure or what makes a good announcement, we recommend that you purchase a copper account and hire a good designer to design your announcement, to make it competitive but the most important is always update your announcement to generate leads and interest to visitors.
52  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you think that there will ever be an effort to boycott centralized exchanges? on: December 27, 2022, 12:33:36 PM
I think that this is the only way to majorly effective way to remove exploitative profiteers from the market, stop exit scams and increase transparency of trading activity. As new perpetual/margin trading options become available, like GMX and Dydx (which is unconvincingly completely decentralized, however a seemingly better option than CEXs), the possibility to boycott CEXs becomes more possible.
Are there any moves to boycott centralized exchange, will it hold and gain momentum? there's risk in trading on Centralized exchanges but when it comes to the advantages and disadvantages of trading on exchanges traders prefer the advantages brought by trading on centralized exchanges, people who think that they should boycott CEX needs to realize that many DEXes don't support dollar-to-crypto trades, and DEXs only support cryptos on one single blockchain compared to CEX's who can support multiple chains, enabling trading one token from a different chain to another token on another chain.

Quote
Do you think an effective boycott campaign against CEXs could happen? What do you think would be needed to do so, other than the manpower?

Right now I don't see that happening the industry has so many tokens on multiple chains and they can only be housed on a Centralized exchange.
53  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How come people spend days here? on: December 26, 2022, 02:01:57 PM

Although I have been interested and in and out of this forum for a about year now, it is only recently that I decided to get serious and learn and perhaps chat here to get more real insights from people with more experience and knowledge.

But one thing I noticed is that many people spend hours upon hours here, like really long hours, which made me think, like how come?
Why not the forum is dynamic anything and everything about Cryptocurrency are all here, and people spend hours here because of their interest just like what people are doing on social media like Facebook and Twitter it's all about interest, if you're into Cryptocurrency as an investor or hobby or just curious on what it is and why it takes the world by storm this is the forum to be with, you can ask anything related about Cryptocurrency and you will have a different answer and those answers will make you think which is right and which is accurate.

Do you guys make a living commenting and being here or are you really that passionate about web3/ crypto and blockchain?
It's both, you cannot have the former without having a passion for the subjects they both go together.
54  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have anyone heard Bitsler.com? on: December 26, 2022, 04:50:04 AM
Hi guys I know some of users will say that what am I doing. I was saying that if you know about https://bitsler.com
I wanted to ask because in prior 2017 and 2018 I deposited almost 300 dollars and I lost in a single day by playing dice.
And I do not know what is Dice at that time.
What's with Bitsler is it because it's the first casino where you lose $300, that's already 5 years
And laster I deposited more and more. There was time when I made almost 2 Ethereum and they worth Upto 800 dollars at a peak time of Ethereum. So after I also lost everything. That's why I try to avoid gambling.
What are your scenes. Have anyone made some fortune through betting.

What's with Bitsler, is it because its the first casino where you lose $300, that's already 5 years you cannot get over because its the casino where you had bad memories that made you avoid gambling, and you have a bad start in gambling because maybe you have not heard or read that you should play with money that you can't afford to lose and never chase your losses, two things that newbies cannot resist to do when they started gambling.
We all have bad memories of when we started gambling I have many bad memories of my own but I learn to move and be moderate in how I gamble, I'm not saying you should continue gambling but you can play and just have fun, you will be good because you know what to avoid.

55  Economy / Services / Re: Best Mailchimp alternative paid with crypto on: December 25, 2022, 11:48:53 PM
Thanks for the replies, It looks like none of the email service providers from this article are not accepting crypto, strange why the article was being made at all.
Transfering to thi payment processor is all the same as ending to revolut and then get virtual credit card wit hthem, which involves KYC etc.
I need a provider which is crypto friendly.
Thanks

When it comes to email services the service provider wants to know who they are dealing with and for what purposes which is why they use credit cards and Paypal, email providers have strict compliance on where to use their service and there are so many Crypto projects that involve in a scam and bulk email sending if you are going to use their service you will notice that they are asking for a physical address for every newsletter that they are going to send, its part of the compliance and some Cryptocurrency projects may opt not to give this information.
56  Economy / Services / Re: $5000 for a Hustler who brings us 1000 real paying users on: December 25, 2022, 12:48:08 PM
We are looking for a real hustler who can bring us 1000 actual paying customers. We will pay $5000 for this in cryptocurrency (BTC, USDT, or XMR). We developed a legitimate cryptocurrency project (no ICO, no nft, no ponzi, no mlm ). We can only reveal details about our product in private messages; not here in the public.

Why only on private messages will it get negative feedback if you post the project if you do not have the courage to promote the project here in Bitcointalk, even a real hustler cannot get give you these numbers.

Quote
Our crypto project includes P2P trades, private payments, and goods and services in exchange for crypto.

We pay in stages, which is how we proceed.
If you bring us 50 actual paying customers to us, we will pay you $250.
If you bring us 100 actual paying customers to us,, we'll pay you $500.
If you bring us 200 actual paying customers to us,, we'll give you $1000.
If you bring us 300 actual paying customers to us, we will pay you $1500.
...
If you bring us 1000 actual paying customers, we will pay you $5000.
You should give more information is there an affiliate site where the promoters can track their referrals and earnings this is important promoters will not agree to promote your project if they will just rely on your words there should be an affiliate site

Quote
We'll check to see if the users you bring are genuine. We will alert you if we believe they are false. We will end the contract if you keep bringing phony users.
We won't make an advance payment.
Upon reaching 50 users, we will begin to pay. If both parties are on board with the deal, we'll provide weekly or daily traffic statistics.
If you don't have a dedicated affiliate site I don't think promoters can trust you with mere words everything should be automated and your promoters should see their earnings in real-time.
I don't trust projects like this that go for words of the mouth contract and results, there's a possibility of cheating on the part of the admin of the project.

57  Economy / Economics / Re: This could be the biggest news in 2022 on: December 24, 2022, 09:59:54 PM
Crypto holding company by the name of Bitcoin Group are on the move to buy the world oldest bank for approximately 15 million dollars .
The group now owns two banks the first one is was Furturn digital bank they now have to do another step and that is securing approval for a license, this move is unheard of and it could become a growing trend to fast-track adoption of Bitcoin in Germany
after the approval, the group just needs to take steps in integrating Bitcoin into their banking services, introduce Bitcoin to their clients, and serve those who are already holders of Bitcoin

Quote
The name of the bank is Bankhaus von der Heydt which was founded in 1754, the deal is already signed but the reason for this post is to understand where this is going.

Banks aren't ready to buy Bitcoin but now Bitcoin is buying bank? This is the most mind-blowing news of the year, I don't know about you guys.
We never know we have big corporations adopting Bitcoin, and integrating it with their system but once you add it to the banking system it easily introduces Bitcoin to the mainstream, I like this to happen to our country, as banks are still hesitant to add or integrate Bitcoin to their system.

58  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PNNV.com - Major update #2 - need your review, again! on: December 24, 2022, 02:39:48 PM
Hey Guys,

I had to upgrade and add another API, mainly i used coingecko but wanted to add coinmarketcap as well. I have 10M monthly API calls and had to combine those two.

It's costly, around 2000$ a month for the API.

Sorry, but the bugs were fixed!

That's quite a huge amount I still recommend that you add your social media account or even your account here on Bitcointalk and an additional FAQ about the exchange and your guarantee, for traders outside of this forum that are going to use your platform, I'm putting myself in a position when I stumble your platform for the first time, you can also create a thread for testimonials and install the link in the homepage, this my review and recommendation and it's up to you what you want to implement.
59  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 24, 2022, 07:16:57 AM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated?
If you're a casino operator would you want your casino a transit for dirty money, are you ok with scammers playing in your casino to launder their dirty money, they will be safe but you will be targeted by authorities for not implementing a KYC to know the people who are playing in your casino, you will end up being accused of conniving with these scammers

Quote
I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino

Because gamblers are using credit cards and bank accounts so even if they do not ask for KYC they know who the people playing in their casinos

Quote
but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.
It's very necessary for the protection of both gamblers and casino operators, the authorities know how scammers work and they know that they are using casinos to launder money.
60  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 23, 2022, 10:41:52 PM
Crypto gambling keeps growing faster than Fiat gambling, it's good to see that the masses now favours crypto for gambling than using Fiat but the only issue I have with crypto is the security, data breach and co so I want to know if hiding my IP on a crypto gambling website is secure? I am going with a premium sub of express VPN. If you think otherwise please tell me.

Where is the fear coming on data breach, all I know is your data is safe if you play in a reputable casino because they are fully compliant when it comes to data privacy, and the use of a VPN depends on the terms of the casino you are playing if they allow it then it's good but if not better not or your account will be in trouble, all I know is people are using VPN because their location is restricting them but it's not about security when the casino will still ask you for KYC along the way when your account encounter issue or they have to verify it when you won a big amount.
