Sam of the FTX have make the US politicians tasted what it feels like, to use crypto money to fund their political agenda, there is nothing anyone can tell me but with what's happening around Sam and the once proved allegation on him are being erased or pardon makes me think this is accurate.

It's like those behind him saying, damn, there is a lot of money in crypto, imagine what we can do in America if we can control crypto, there was no doubt that Sam stole money using FTX exchange, and those money are from various innocent people around the world.

If justice still reigns, investigating SAM will probably reveal some high profile figures in the America politics, nothing about SAM cases makes any sense anymore, I think the investigation already did revealed a lot, but it's the stuffs that the nightmares are made of, something that must never come to light.

Corruption is everywhere, but USA is not some corrupt banana republic.
Sam Bankman-Fried had donated money to the Democratic party, but this doesn't mean that he is above the law or he will get out of this court case without any consequences.
You are clearly overestimating the scale and the influence of the US cryptocurrency industry. The US crypto industry is 100 times smaller than the big banks and corporations on Wall Street. I'm sure that the Wall Street giants aren't afraid of the crypto industry. Most of them probably don't even pay attention to crypto.

now im asking myself: how do the call this "provably fair?"
let me give you a little advice, stop playing to this S***, all online casino will
only cost you money an time, you will never win a dime in these places, and if you win,
you will lose it next time (doubled)..all games are programmatically set to steal your money...
they are not rigged by casino, there is no need to do it, they already born this way, directly
from the software company...period

Is this a negative review or a scam accusation? Or maybe both? Were you expecting a 50:50 win/lose ratio for the casino games to be "probably fair"? Maybe you are right. Maybe the casino games are truly rigged(by the casino or by the software company).
Maybe that's why all casinos always win. On the other hand, gambling is supposed to be played for fun, not for making money.
If you have this "I have to make money from the casino at all cost" mindset, you won't be having any fun.
The gambling industry is just a part of the entertainment industry, not some easy magical way to make money.

823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smart Way to Introduce Bitcoin to Relatives, Spouse or Family on: June 19, 2023, 06:00:21 AM
The real problem here is your relatives, spouse and friends still not knowing what Bitcoin is, after all your explanations.
Some people simply don't want to learn and they don't want to understand. Trying to explain to them everything only makes them more suspicious. That's why the only winning strategy of introducing Bitcoin to your social circle is NOT introducing Bitcoin. Grin
I just don't talk about finance to anyone in my social circle. Taking about finance(it doesn't matter if it's fiat or crypto) is like giving them financial advise. They might put the blame on you, if they make a wrong financial decision based on what you have told them.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Categories of Unrealistic Sports Betting Expectations on: June 18, 2023, 10:54:32 AM
There are gamblers, who think that they will strike a big hit and win the jackpot.
There are other gamblers, who think that they could be making money consistently and use sports betting as a replacement of their 9-to-5 job. I think that both types of gamblers are delusional, more of less. Perhaps it's kinda possible for a really good sports bettor to have consistent winnings and to make good money out of sports betting. The problem is that I've never seen any successful sports bettors, who are doing this for a living. Maybe such sports bettors do exist, but they keep their lifestyle a secret.
The tipsters, who are selling sports betting services(including fixed games) are 99% scammers. There's no doubt about that.
Some people have unrealistic perception about their luck, while other people have unrealistic perception about their skills.
There are people, who are dumb enough to think that they could outsmart the bookies or trick the system.
825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: June 18, 2023, 06:34:07 AM
I hear rumors about Louis Enrique becoming the new manager of Paris Saint-Germain.
This might be a pretty odd decision by the PSG owners. If you ask me, Enrique is a pretty overrated coach. He was very successful in Barcelona 8 years ago mostly because of the MSN trio and because Pep Guardiola left an almost perfect team. Enrique failed miserably as a coach of the Spanish national team and I don't think that he will be successful leading a club outside Spain. He probably doesn't know English or French. Anyway, let's wait and see if the rumors will become truth.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin(decentralization) the end for utopia? on: June 18, 2023, 05:53:01 AM
Is Bitcoin the final form for humanity?
Decentralization has long been dreamed by all different social models, is there another step to be taken?
Can humanity (humans) learn to hang on and manage their finances?
Or is Bitcoin an experiment to show that we're not capable of managing our own belongings and do require central authority?

What do you mean by "the final form or humanity"? The human civilization is always evolving, there's nothing final here. Finance is evolving as well. The people used gold and silver coins centuries ago. They moved from gold coins to paper money, that were backed by gold. Later on, they moved to fiat money(not backed by anything). I guess that the next step would be moving towards digital currencies.
There will be a constant battle between centralized financial infrastructures(banks, CBDCs) and decentralized financial structures(blockchains, crypto). I don't think that the governments and the central banks would just surrender and adopt decentralized technologies.
827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is This the End of Crypto? This U.S. Congressman Hopes So... on: June 16, 2023, 10:37:59 AM
In a recent CNBC interview, U.S. Congressman Brad Sherman openly expressed his hope for the end of cryptocurrencies, a stance that will ruffle the feathers of crypto enthusiasts.  "I hope so, don't think so," was Sherman's succinct response when asked if the ongoing crackdown signaled the end of cryptocurrencies in America. His caustic comment follows recent regulatory actions taken by the SEC against major cryptocurrency exchanges, Binance and Coinbase. The Congressman, who is well-known for his anti-crypto stance, took issue with the idea that cryptocurrencies could benefit the economy or consumers, stating that their primary use was to evade the U.S. government and sanctions.

This is yet another forum post about "Crypto hater says this and that about Bitcoin". Should we even care?
The crypto/Bitcoin haters won't go away and they won't stop hating on Bitcoin/crypto.
The fact that this guy doesn't understand why Bitcoin is more valued than "Hamster coin" only shows the doesn't understand how economy and finance works and he's completely retarded. Evading the US sanctions is actually something good. The USA is shooting itself in the foot by using it's own currency and financial system as a global weapon.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ambivalent attitude to gambling on: June 16, 2023, 05:59:56 AM
I highly doubt that between 1.6 billion and 4.2 billion people around the world gamble. Those numbers are very far-fetched.
The number of active gamblers should be less than 500 million. The people, who gambled less than 5 times a year cannot be considered gamblers.
Lotteries might be more acceptable than casinos, but that doesn't mean that everyone accepts them. The lotteries are called "a tax for the stupid" for a reason.
OP, it seems that you have copied some generic article about gambling from somewhere. Can you at least post a link to the source of information?
829  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: June 15, 2023, 12:03:03 PM
I received 5 CRP and I'm ready to give my honest review.

Downloading/installing the software and registering an account went without any problems, so I don't want to waste time discussing this.
I also don't want to post any screenshots, because I never had any problems running the software and many people have posted screenshots in their reviews before me. Grin

The software seems to be full with many features. Some of them are really useful, while others doesn't look essential for the project(at least from my point of view).

1.POKER/CHESS I really wanted to try the poker and chess games offered by Utopia, but from what I see, there aren't any active poker tables and the chess game is available only if I invite someone from my contact list. I don't know why there aren't any active poker tables. Maybe there's a problem within the search functionality, or maybe nobody is playing poker in Utopia. Grin

2.CRYPTO CARD I seriously thought that this is going to be some sort of crypto virtual credit card(VCC) service just like Paywithmoon, so I was excited to try out this feature. It turns out that those crypto cards are limited only to the Utopia platform. I guess that this was my misunderstanding of the term "crypto card", and maybe the team behind Utopia should clarify this in their FAQ.

3.uVOUCHER From what I see this is supposed to be some kind of gift card voucher system, designed to replace direct CRP payments.
The first thing I thought was "is this really necessary?". Can't the Utopia users simply send and receive CRP payments, instead of creating crypto cards and uVouchers?

4.uMAIL It would be really nice if this uMail feature can be used to replace services like Protonmail. Unfortunately, I guess that this feature is also limited within the Utopia ecosystem. It would be great if uMail expands outside Utopia(without damaging the user's privacy, of course).

5.IDYLL BROWSER I really like the idea behind this browser. Maybe the Tor browser will finally have a strong competitor.
However, I tried opening Idyll browser and the browser loading speed is really slow. Maybe the problem is in my PC and my internet connection.

6.MINING I wanted to start mining CRP on a Linux VPS, but I recently found out that all miners have to stake 64 CRP, in order to start mining. Maybe this should be mentioned in the FAQ of the Utopia website.

7.UTOPIA AI This is one of the features I really like and I will use it more often. I was too lazy to open an Open.ai account in order to use ChatGPT.  With Utopia, I get ChatGPT without having to open an account anywhere.

8.uMAPS Knowing the Geolocation of all Utopia channels is a pretty interesting feature, but is it really useful?

Utopia is very user-friendly and really easy to use. The downside of the platform is the small userbase, but I hope that this will change in the future. I didn't have any problems with the software(maybe except Idyll Browser).
Good luck with this project to the team behind Utopia and to all Utopia users.

830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Improve Your Sports Betting Skills and Win More Bets? on: June 15, 2023, 06:36:26 AM
OP, this list seems like an article about sports betting from 10 years ago. It's a good list, but it offers generic advise.
Doing research and gathering more info about that teams and players you are betting on is just common sense.
In reality, there's no magical strategy about how to make lots of money via sports betting. Actually, trying to make six figures out of 1000 USD seems pretty unrealistic to me. At the end of the day, it's all about practice. Losing more money than you make is a normal process at the beginning or your sports betting journey. I don't think that any sports bettor can outsmart the bookies in the long run.
831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We shall separate commercial exchanges from investment exchanges on: June 15, 2023, 05:59:24 AM
Quote
We have about the same differences between commercial banking and investment banking, and there are many economists arguing about the need to separate (or unite) these 2 activities. We shall have the same discussion with cryptos exchanges.
Many legislators around the world are talking about regulating exchanges, this is what they should talk about first.

I don't get the point of your forum thread.
All crypto exchanges are regulated(or they should be). It doesn't matter if they offer just "crypto to fiat and vice versa" financial services or crypto trading/leverage/margin trading financial services. The authorities might distinguish them, but they are both regulated. In both types of crypto exchanges the users have to submit KYC verification, just like in all fiat financial services.
It doesn't matter if you are using a commercial or an investment bank, in both cases you have to submit KYC verification.
Separating the exchanges into different categories isn't our job. I guess that they are already separated by the regulators.
832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How BTC² Perpetual Index Outperforms 2x Leverage in Risk and Returns on: June 14, 2023, 10:32:38 AM
So the current Bitcoin Perpetual Index price would be 25,960 USD multiplied by 25,960 USD which is 673 921 600 USD.
From what I understand here, you want to create(and probably sell) a financial derivative, that is correlated to the price of Bitcoin.
Who is going to buy such BTC perpetual index shares at 673 million USD.
Can't the traders just use 100x leverage instead of this Perpetual Index(I know that this is extremely risky and not many exchanges offer 100x leverage)? I also don't understand how this index would reduce the risks.
I have the feeling that you want to create some kind of magical financial instrument, which offers gigantic profits and reduced loses. This would never happen in the real world.

833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 14, 2023, 06:42:43 AM
Harry Kane is getting older so I don't think that Real Madrid is going to accept the ridiculously high price, that was set by Tottenham.
I think that Kane finally wants to win a big trophy, that's why he wants to leave the team from London, but the owners of Tottenham won't let him go for a lower price.
I also don't think that PSG will sell Mbape. Selling their biggest star(Neymar isn't their biggest star) would mean that PSG is giving up on chasing their big goal-the UEFA Champions League Trophy. Mbape is irreplaceable for PSG at the moment.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife on wedding. on: June 14, 2023, 06:09:15 AM
Although I still studied, I invested a small amount in Bitcoin. I will get married if I get a good job. Many people give many things to their wives as wedding gifts, I have a different plan. I am planning to gift bitcoin to my wife on her wedding day. Bitcoin is still illegal in my country so I invested with caution. On my wedding day I want to gift half of my investment to my wife.
Should I gift bitcoin to my wife? I want your advice

When you get married, half of your possessions and your wealth will belong to your wife(according to the law in my country).
If you get divorced, she can take half of everything you have. So giving her 50% of your Bitcoin holdings seems kinda pointless to me. Grin
A wedding gift should be something romantic. Bitcoin is many things, but it definitely isn't romantic. Grin
You can do whatever you want, but I doubt that she will be happy with such gift.
By the way, are you really sure that you will get married after you get a good job? I think that unemployed people could also get a wife. Grin

836  Economy / Economics / Re: US Congressman Warren Davidson Filed Legislation to Fire Gary Gensler on: June 13, 2023, 10:15:28 AM
This might sound like a dumb conspiracy theory, but I think that Davidson's proposal might have something to do lobbyism on behalf of Binance and Coinbase. They have enough money to activate a bunch of congressmen like Warren Davidson to defend their interest and try to fire Gensler. The smart thing is that nothing is written about crypto, tokens, etc. so there's no direct connection to the SEC vs. Binance.us/CZ lawsuit. Gensler is being portrayed as a tyrannical figure(which is something I'm not sure about). What if Gensler gets fired and a more anti-crypto person gets elected as a SEC chairman? AFAIK, Gary Gensler isn't the biggest crypto hater in the world.
837  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: 💸💸 [ rakeclub.com ] CRYPTO CASINO SOURCE CODE | CLASSIC GAMES | HQ FEATURES on: June 13, 2023, 06:48:15 AM
Good luck trying to sell this script to 1000 people, who will have to run similar looking casinos afterwards. Grin
Maybe there is a way to adjust the web design and the different features, so that this casino template won't look the same for every buyer.
I'm not a programmer or a web designer, I assume that many people, who want to start a gambling business won't have knowledge and skills about web design and programming.
The template looks OK, but in the gambling world you have to stand out from the competition. I don't know how buying a pre-made script would make anyone stand out from the competition.
Anyway, good luck with this project, OP.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stake platform on: June 13, 2023, 06:12:40 AM
Yes i don't give a *it what Spencer does , you know what i mean, so i am not covering them, as well it works with stake.com .. so what??
I just wanted an advice and you are now stressful because i paid 100 $. Whats wrong with you

Why do I have the feeling that OP is promoting this shady website? Grin
OP, you say that you wanted advise. The advise was pretty clear. "Stay away from such shady websites", but you still invested money in this.
I'm expecting you to make another post bragging about how much money you made out of this "investment scheme".
High Yield Investment Program scams (HYIP) exist since the early stages of internet(and even before that).
Are you really one of the people, who say "I don't care if this is a scam, I just want to make money by "investing" in some magical 1000% profit schemes a I expect ridiculous profits with no work." This doesn't seem really smart to me.
839  Economy / Services / Re: Utopia P2P Ecosystem 💎 | Review Campaign 🔎| Participate Now! | Get paid in BTC on: June 12, 2023, 12:02:56 PM
I have a question.
How much CRP will I earn from mining on a VPS 24/7 for 30 days?
I might be interested in installing Utopia on a Linux VPS.
840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The US just banned altcoin trading. on: June 12, 2023, 11:43:52 AM
The US just banned altcoin trading ,This is not good news for cryptocurrencies at all.

From the beginning of 2022, the collapse of the cryptocurrency market began. In view of which btc lost its highest price and fell to 16 thousand dollars. Ethereum also touched 30% of its peak price. And most of the tokens in the cryptocurrency market eventually fell in price.

Cryptocurrency prices improved slightly around April-May 2023, but people remained somewhat skeptical about the market.
In the meantime, the US has banned altcoin trading. Which bodes ominously for the future of cryptocurrency.

Is the future of cryptocurrency in jeopardy?

Source: https://twitter.com/cryptomanran/status/1667431872333332481?t=0STo6Hty7Oao6xN8Dwu6xg&s=19

The Security and Exchange Commission banning shitcoins and shittokens is actually good news.
OP, please do more research on the topic, before posting forum threads here. Your forum thread seems incompetent and it lacks important information.
The 2022 crypto price drop has nothing to do with SEC going in court against Binance (and potentially Coinbase).
The 2022 price drop was created by the collapse of a bunch of shady crypto projects like Terra, Three Arrows and FTX.
I'm not a fan of Binance and Coinbase, but they cannot be compared to total scams like FTX.
