682  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Canada introduces thought crime bill on: February 03, 2017, 11:10:22 AM
I guess laws in canada are different than in their neighbors to the south. The US has freedom of speech
but due to recent events happening in Quebec I can see why they put this law into place.
Senseless killing and the aftermath which ensued with meat being thrown on people's cars and the anti this and that had become the breaking point for them to put such laws into effect.
Also with some of the recruitment that comes from up there it is no surprised that something had to be done about it cause it has all become too much for one congregated culture to handle without law enforcement stepping in front of the law breakers.
683  Economy / Goods / Re: Selling cheap cigarettes Marlboro Dunhill benson LM Stealth method of delivery on: February 03, 2017, 10:57:39 AM
Where are they shipped from?
PM replied
How do you do stealth? How did that user 'steal' your btc +proof?
We can use escrow and i will give 10% off for first costumer.  Wink
You know you have to hide it for the customs?

He means he will be shipping from a dropship address so not to be tracked. This what most of these "wholesalers" of cigarettes do.
Cause if they track it back then the seller will be charged for selling contraband goods and will be fined.
That's why they do it to cover their tracks so to say.
And yes they have to hide it from customs when shipping abroad because these shippers are evading taxes which again is against many countries laws and they will be penalized for it.
It is all written down for you to read on the shipping of illegal goods in a postal office near you. It will be seized the buyer will be fined and not the shipper hence he is using this stealth method of shipping.
All onus on you the buyer so be warned.
684  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sell or wait? on: February 03, 2017, 10:45:29 AM
Always a wise choice to keep your coins when the price is steady rising and not showing any slow down such it is now.
Isn't it easier to just send them to your btc vault and then just forget about them until the price has settle down a bit? Hmm Undecided
It is at a feverish pitch right now and only the unexperienced sell at times like these! Grin
685  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Asgardia - a new Nation needs a currency on: February 03, 2017, 10:37:03 AM
Sounds pretty far fetched if you asked me. Undecided
But if they want their own currency then get them to create their own alt coin so not impede on bitcoin's current progress. Wink

And to the above poster just before me,
It does seem like an outlandish idea and I do agree. It is just utter nonsense and should not be taken seriously.
Just another anti-trump "get me off this earth" type of situation or in these terms "get me off this planet!" Wink
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin can ruin a Country? on: February 03, 2017, 10:31:27 AM
Well, i just thought, if bitcoin become a currency of one Country, maybe it can destroy that country? Think of it, Bitcoins do not have a tax, and tax are used by the government to make that country a good one, without tax, what will be used to spend and make that country a good one?

What do you think?
Just when you mentioned about taxing bitcoin the thing going on in Switzerland and Xapo came to mind.
They are allowing bitcoin wallet and exchange to operate there but with added fees. Could this be in light of their own governing tax laws?
Everybody knows they are lax when it comes to their tax code on the wealthy and how millionaires and billionaires keep their wealth of money in these swiss bank accounts so to keep it out of the hands of their local tax man's hands.
I wouldn't doubt if Trump has a hidden swiss account in hiding from those sneaky invading tax inspectors.
687  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: (WTS) Acer Predator New Piece GTX 980 8GB GDDR5 Genuine with Box + WORTH $300! on: February 03, 2017, 10:26:50 AM
It has been over two weeks now so has this laptop and all accessories sold yet just like the other laptop you had for sale?
I must of missed this pm you said that you had sent to me.
I would be more concerned with the method of shipment and the costs incurred in doing to with insurance on top of it. This is an extremely fragile item to send from such a long ways away. Undecided
Resend that pm if you still have it available.
Thanks.

688  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Doesn’t Western Union or Moneygram Use Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2017, 10:20:33 AM
i think the system between western union or moneygram is different than bitcoin and they are not yet to integrate with blockchain technology so they don't use bitcoin as option in the payment. maybe they consider that bitcoin as their competitor in payment processor but it would be great if western union or moneygram use bitcoin in future.
This is not completely true or not true at all.
There are offices here in North America that have QR codes on the forms that come with their remittance forms for sending a Western Union moneygram. What are these QR codes for you may ask?
For bitcoin! Grin
689  Economy / Economics / Re: What Will it Take For BTC to Reach $1000? on: February 03, 2017, 10:15:55 AM
Game is simple if bitcoin will break all time high at 1200$ will goes to 1800$-2200$ for today trading is stable
and biggest fear that China will ban bitcoin has gone.Bitcoin price rise will be supported by news from USA and Europe. Trade war between USA and China may put bitcoin on high

I hope that to happen but many holder are anticipating to cash out after the ATH.  Remember we cannot control people and their target price.  I  hope after if incase Bitcoin reach the new ATH, it can withstand the dump from these people cashing out.  It might take longer to reach $2000 and be stable or make it a new floor.
Never really thought of this scenario because haven't seen this happening in such a short amount of time like it just did to reach this pinnacle.
If people will be selling when it reaches $1152 all at the same time that will definitely cause an extreme decline in price as with any other stock that is selling and trading on the market. Bitcoin should be no different in this scenario either.
690  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Sapphire Rx 480 Nitro 8GB [Brandnew] on: February 03, 2017, 10:00:34 AM
I've wondered why no one has arraigned a group buy for this card.

Why even go with the above link when newegg has them cheaper by $15 for the exact same card? Huh
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202224
And their is a $15 rebate on top of that to make it near to the $200 mark per card. $219 to be exact. Smiley
691  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump - what is he DOING? like it or don't like it, discuss on: February 03, 2017, 09:53:09 AM
What THEN?  Are there more lists?  Where?  Whose?

once everyone's grown fat and happy and complacent then it's time for some wars of course. or the final solution.

The list is just starting. Once we have found a way to live a thousand years in good health, then we might be able to relax a little.

Cool
True it has just started being 14 days into it since taking office. You either got to take it or move your self and family to somewhere out of the reach of his governing body or some might say his dictatorship.
I am not one of those btw.
I love how Trump creates controversy Cheesy Cheesy we should enjoy the show guys.
Exactly or do what Arnie just did and invite him to take your job and you can do his and see how many days you can survive being in office and being hated by most of your citizens.
Ratings for the apprentice will suffer this season and for the next four years until Trump goes back to a much easier tv sitcom then the presidency. Cheesy
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: February 03, 2017, 09:43:50 AM
The volatility is a major concern of course.
But how to cash out bitcoin in a currency that all places of commerce accepts.
This is the second largest problem that I have seen people who come to the forum asks for, a way they can transfer bitcoin to banks without any hassle and with low enough fees they can live without losing any sleep over. Undecided
693  Economy / Economics / Re: 51% or more concentrated in China, which is a hidden trouble? on: February 03, 2017, 09:33:12 AM
I think OP came up with a random number just to show that more than half are coming from China.
What that number represents is unknown because he can be accusing them of DDos attacks on the blockchain causing the rise in miner's fees or he can be referring to the number of pools in the whole mining pool.
But one thing is for sure he is referring to bitcoin mining because this is where China has the whole world beat. So they generally dictate the law governing it use and distribution of these miner's fees.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin be created by Russia or China? on: February 03, 2017, 03:36:12 AM
If they were smart enough they would just use the current technology and create their own countries coin and distribute it over the blockchain. That would take them less resources and time to do that instead of trying to create or replace the current technology related to economics.
695  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: February 03, 2017, 03:29:41 AM
The Washington Wizards defeated the Lakers with John Wall double double (33 pts, 11 asts). I lost my bet on this game because I have the handicap points for wizards with -10.5. Anyway, just have to move on, there are more games on the board. I will be betting with the Clippers Moneyline tonight, Draymond Green will not play so it's Blake show tonight.

Clippers moneyline against the Warriors Huh

Are you sure?
Houston just lost to the Hawks so anything is possible tonight. Embarrassed
And the odds are actually not that intimidating like they usually are for an opponent to the Warriors tonight just a bit over 4.3 last time I checked.
If I had any left after double losses I would put a little bit on it just for the heck of it.
But I give up cause it just ain't my night tonight with guessing on these games.
696  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Trump - what is he DOING? like it or don't like it, discuss on: February 03, 2017, 12:30:33 AM
From what I heard lately in his speeches:
America has been taken advantage of by other countries for the longest time.
He did state that enough is enough and he is not having anymore of it.

This did become apparent when Mexico president whom is hating him for taking American jobs out of his country when he sent him El Chapo Mexican drug lord to the states and said this was a "present from the Mexico government to the newly appointed president of the United States". This is purely a power move and a spat on the face of him because he said he wanted to keep the "mean hombres" out of the U.S with the action of building "The Wall" at the border to keep the criminals out. And what does he do in his first act towards the states? Send one directly to them. Roll Eyes
What the fricking heck is that? Unreal.  Sad
It is becoming as unbelievable as a Tele Novella soap opera the way this administration is turning out to be.
697  Economy / Lending / Re: Looking for 0.03 loan on: February 02, 2017, 09:33:38 PM
But you are selling it on the goods and services section.
So this would have it look like your going to leave the loan unpaid and have the lender just keep the virwox account.
I am not saying that you would but that is what it is looking like you are trying to do in having it for sale in that section. Undecided
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1775751
and previously here but not sold
http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1754940

Can someone clarify this? This allowed to have collateral that is currently on sale?
698  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin going to 2,000 $ soon ? why not ? on: February 02, 2017, 09:27:53 PM
If it was to happen any time soon and at a rapid rate that you and more than half if not all the users on this forum would like to see it happen, would take all the power of top nations (USA/China/Russia/Germany) to agree on allowing blockchain into each and every economic system that they use and call it the Global Currency that it should be known as instead of just a cryptocurrency.
Is this going to happen any time soon? No. Because they do not want to give up on having their own countries currencies still hold value to their own citizens.
Atleast the UAE has accepted it as a currency and that is a start.
699  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Paxful Scammer - Treeborgame on: February 02, 2017, 08:40:09 PM
Always thought it was impossible to get scammed on there due to their escrow in place.
Don't accounts that are verified have information on them allows admins on paxful to recover funds of any disputes happen like this one?
700  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-02-01] Bitcoin is busting out on: February 02, 2017, 06:03:03 PM
Would like to see the all time high come soon. Everybody knows that at the beginning of the year it always rises so it should not be long with only being 1 month and two days into the year it has just started. And from what the price has done in the last week then the party has just started in it increasing to this ATH pretty soon.
Fingers crossed. Wink
