501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: May 12, 2016, 10:24:12 AM

I've been following this as well. Unfortunately, they are not updating it real time like they are with the Dao project. It still shows Waves at #43 though given what has been raised to this point Waves should now be at #31.

Again, this is an impressive metric as it reflects ALL crowdfunding projects from all time, not just crypto related ones. I hope the list gets updated by the end of the ico to reflect Waves' true standing. We will undoubtedly crack the top 30 with no problem.

Here's one with active, upcoming & successful crypto-related crowdsales

https://cyber.fund/radar

Based on BTC raised, WAVES is at #7
1. TheDAO : 97,182.2 Ƀ and counting
2. Ethereum : 31,531 Ƀ
3. Augur : 22,036 Ƀ
4. Lisk : 15,128 Ƀ
5. DigixDAO : 13,290 Ƀ
6. Safe Network : 12,200 Ƀ
7. Waves : 8272 Ƀ and counting

The DAO funds raised is misleading.

Because you can pull your ETH out of the smart contract after launch.

So there is virtually no risk of losing the ETH you invested

With the others listed there was no way to pull your BTC out of the fund after you sent it

If the DAO is included in these types of lists at all, then it should have an asterisk at the very least

I've invested few ETH on DAO lately but yeah I wanna clear that up, where did you get the info where we can pull our ETH out of the smart contract after launch?
As far as I know we just vote either yes or no for a project and the ETH will still remain as DAO token as bought.

hey, you can burn your DAO token for ETH, its called split, causes in less DAO token left for all > thats why its deflationary

505  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Qora | POS | Assets | Names | Polls | Automated Transactions | Social Network on: April 08, 2016, 09:54:19 PM
Yes, we need AT between Qora and Bitcoin! Wink

The plan is to actually have Qora have its own Bitcoin wallet and be able to do ACCT between itself and Bitcoin (without any 3rd party exchange).

AFAIA we are the first to be working on this (and it should be ready in a couple of months assuming everything goes well).

Oh my god, that would be a wonderful USP. Cant wait for it.
506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Augur - a decentralized prediction market platform on: April 08, 2016, 09:41:50 PM
The team has seen this thread and the feedback is being considered, it's just much easier for us to funnel feedback via select channels so please give us time to evaluate the feedback as development takes time.

...

its decentralised. thats the future. keep calm and enjoy

A lagging site is the future? I don't think so!
Joey also states it should load under 2 sec.
But thanks for the effort!

Joey said the beta will start end of december and the main network will go live in Q1 2016.

Joey has no plan. I would wonder when the project will launch with him.

Your right, but a delay I can handle. But the amateurs on the design team that's a different story.
Makes you doubt the backend as well.

The team doesn't bother to react on BCT... very frustrating as an investor!

It is starting to look realy bad for Augur that's for sure.

If you want to change the world, you need some time though. Cant believe what you are expecting making this huge thing working by periods of hours. Look at google ipo chart. What time has passed till what it hits now. Same thing on apple. Either you have the nuts and the time or you are totally wrong in here investing your money.

Comparing Google and Apple with Augur? I think not...

@Augur: Develop a great prediction platform, take all the time you need, but don't show a public beta in this state!
(you guys don't have to bother reacting)

I mean not to compare both companys with Augur, I mean comparing the purview of everyones change of live by dealing with predictions on (personal and money influencing) future events. Thats for sure something totally different. So again, big things like a never have been there decentralised wisdom of the crowd platform on a never have been there decentralised highy complex blockchain platform just may take its time. But I'm with you saying I would not have called it a beta too, instead they should have called it a alpha version.

Rome was not built on a single day. Same as Augur.

Can you explain what this Prime project is about?

Prime is about 2 things:

- It will enable instant confirmations
- And eliminates potential double spend attacks permanently.

 Wink

wow - this sounds heavy

I do my homework before investing into anything.  I believe in what you guys are working towards.  I don't have to like your attitude for you to make me money.  I just wanted to let you know what it looks like from someone coming in early.

FWIW, I, like you, do not believe it's a good idea join Microsoft in anything.  You have said it better than I, in fact.

You just come off as a dick.  So did Steve Jobs and he changed the world.

Thank you for your dedication to the project, I and many others appreciate it.

You have touched my heart

Polo pleased to add LISK, but not immediately. But as soon as LISK gets popularity. Although now it is not a small

Lisk is different than any other crypto launch. You can't compare it to small shitcoins that go the usual route ccex>rex>polo

If Poloniex doesn't join Bittrex on April 11, they will lose a LOT of trading volume to Bittrex.

Pretty sure they're poker facing the launch, hoping to make surprise move with Lisk launch on April 11.

Mark my words.

MGM, what you mean saying "If Poloniex doesn't join Bittrex on April 11, they will lose a LOT of trading volume to Bittrex." ? What did I miss?

New android wallet coming tomorrow?

It was supposed to be March but there must be delays, better to wait another week or two for good development. MaNI has said it's almost ready in previous posts.

Hi, Android wallet is basically done from a software perspective, but due to some unfortunate timing, schedule clashes and personal event with various team members we haven't yet managed  to 100% finalise the graphics. As there are so many android devices around it is also a lot more work to ensure it looks and works well on as many of them as possible.
Testing is ongoing and some of the slack community members are already using it to help with this, everything looks good.

We will as you say only release once we are 100% happy rather than release something inferior, it should not be long now though.

Great work ! I have a question with regards to the new iOS and Android wallets. Lets say another digital currency becomes more useful then bitcoin, how easy would it be for your team to add it as a payment option like you doing for bitcoin?

I am thrilled the team has gone this route and gives another reason to keep my Gulden long term.
Not hard at all from our side, provided Nocks are willing to add support for the currency or some other similar service becomes available.
I can't really speak from the Nocks side, but I imagine if such a situation were to arise they could probably also support it relatively easily.

Though of course the idea is that we will be that currency Wink

I have a samsung s6 if you want more testing. To confirm I will be able to use this wallet for any bitcoin merchant in Germany or anywhere in the world where bitcoin is accepted?

100% Andreas,  I have personally tested the wallet on a s4 and s6 edge and it works like a dream. It's been a lot of work involved because it's a totally new wallet.

Good to know! Can't wait to install on my phone.

me too Wink

Zufall oder nicht, aber das Bountyprogramm erinnert mich irgendwie stellenweise an das von LISK ^^ egal, solange es funzt, funzt es. Die Entwicklung verleitet mich am Ball zu bleiben. Mal sehen was noch kommt.

It's good to see you're alive and well but difficult to find. The old website still has a comment from 2014 on the front page which is quite frightening for investors. If you don't want to remove the old website I would suggest something on the front page with today's date and a link to the new one. Cheers

We are actually in the works of having a brand new website designed for diem. While that new home site is being made I've put up an online Ann to help bring a fresher look to us. www.thehouseofdiem.com the url is temporary I'm going to get us a different one for it Smiley

well, cant wait to see it

Can anyone help?  I'm trying to do a small ICO exchange sending XCR from Poloniex.  First I got an error saying the return address is invalid.  If I understand correctly, I must initialize the Poloniex address by sending it some XCR.  So I thought I would send some XCR to my empty Crypti wallet so I could send it back to myself at Poloniex.  But the Poloniex withdrawal has been saying PENDING for about an hour now.  I asked Poloniex if they were aware of a problem with XCR withdrawals and they said maybe there's a problem with the blockchain.  Can anyone offer some guidance?  Thanks in advance.

you have to withdraw your xcr to cryptiwallet.lisk.io first, then put in the adress given in cryptiwallet.lisk.io to lisk.ico
