I think we need some clarification here. OP is advertising his LBC account for sale and it has between 20 - 50 bitcoin traded by volume on the account. I don't think he is saying he has 50 bitcoin or anything related to 50 bitcoin. So, of course he wouldn't be able to sign a wallet with 50 bitcoin in it, because he probably doesn't have 50 bitcoin. He already tried to sell me the account, but I politely declined because LBC isn't useful to me anymore.
I hope this clears up any miscommunications.

The question, from the start, was if you can sign the address that you have that amount of BTC. So simple.
Instead you preffer to show us a pic, which is nothing here. So can you sign an address with 50BTC?*

OK... so it is confirmed. Those users, who had their funds remaining in Cryptopia are now royally screwed. I can't believe how lucky I am. Just a few hours before they closed down, I had transferred my BTC from the Cryptopia wallet to one of my personal wallets. I still have some CLM tokens remaining there, but the amount is not that big.
Now I guess what happened with Mt Gox will repeat with Cryptopia as well. The Mt Gox users are yet to receive any reimbursements, despite the process going on for more than 5 years now. Anyway, all the best guys!!!
Firstly it was not a choise for any user to keep his alts there. If you can't withdraw then your coins are bounded. You were indeed more than lucky because you didn't have any alts of value, besides CLM which was a total fail. MtGox is a total (?) different case but can have the same result. The users to get a big 0 and loose their funds, no matter what coin/ token they have.  |

You are correct but due your trust rating, maybe you stand a chance to get it from TF. Without a signed message, seems too hard to see this filled from any other... I'll fill this loan if you sign a message and give your account up for collateral with a trusted escrow

Signing a bitcoin address will be difficult for me as I'm not using my own for a very long time. Mostly they are from either exchange or other sites that don't provide control over addresses. Although there are more ways to prove the ownership of this account and won't be a difficult task for me.
You know though that signing a staked address is the best way to verify the ownership. Sorry to say this but a member like you sounds quite impossible not to have a wallet that he can sign at any moment. On the other hand, why don't you ask from TF and help to his test? You won't need any kind of Collateral as he say..  |

If they are scammers, then why should they enable the withdrawals? Already most of the users have withdrawn their coins from the exchange. And regarding the altcoins, I was able to convert most of my altcoins to BTC, and then to withdraw them. Can you tell me which alt is having the market disabled? IMO, we need to give them more time. They are still in a recovery phase and we need to be patient.
There is though a general question. How much time they need in order to have wallets for all the coins? Their excuse is that they need the devs of those alts... Btw a lot of coins are not available, even if the market is open to trade them. That's even more strange, don't you think? |

3 years ago price of BTC would have been about $ 450, so even 50 BTC only means you traded $24k. That's not that high of a value. I know the btc volume counts and not fiat, but I daresay a 44 trades, 10 BTC volume from the past year is even more valuable than this old account.
Especially if there's such a long period of inactivity, traders and LBC themselves would be really wary. The lack of recent feedback would probably throw people off unless you're ready to rebuild a reputation for at least 6 months.

As mentioned, I simply don't have the bitcoins to make further reimbursements, but 0.02 BTC is another story. I am simply curious to see if I lend someone 0.02 BTC, will they pay it back?
So you really believe that someone, as you mention in your Op, will risk his account for 0.02 BTC? The test is if someone will be willing to scam a scammer and if anyone is willing to do anything about it. I am not sure if anyone would scam TF, but I strongly suspect that most of the most active “scam busters” will do nothing if TF doesn’t get repaid. This "test" (like other tests) have two serious factors. The one is the reputation/trust that someone will risk for this amount, which is very, very, very low. So even if you are mostly right about the second factor, which is who will tag a defaulter for the same (proven) reason, is not so strong and "safe" to make an old account holder to take this loan. There will be always a chance/risk to get tagged, especially now that the trust system have this structure. It would be a pity for an "elder" one to take this risk, for that amount. I suspect the two would go hand and hand. A borrower might wait until TF complains about him being late, see how much pressure he receives from those on DT to repay the loan, if he receives no pressure, he wont repay, if he does receive pressure, he repays the loan. The "time" doesn't wait, 14 days is 14 days... Besides will can all watch this thread and leave our feedback accordingly, after the deadline. Unless a group of people are looking for a reason to leave negative trust, the majority of people are going to be forgiving for a late loan payment. Even so, there will be always 1 chance to have a neg from someone who will not remove it, even if you repay late. Plus there is a difference between a "late" loan and a "default" loan. Most of the defaulted though will never been repaid and the account is "dead". If you mean that a default loan can be a late one under the pressure of a negative feedback, i agree. But that's one of the points of being tagged, right? |
