yup there's a discrepancy in the timestamp, but is the timestamp correct in your wallet?

not my wallet, it may be c-cex cold wallet,
i recognize several tx's collecting coins from their deposit addresses,
and 19 Jul is the date when all went down on maintenance

I spoke with yuriy on skype, one of the issues going on with the wallet for the reason it was disabled for trading, is cause some transactions were getting stuck and not confirming, and he still has these tx there and can't clear them.

And seems to be some other issue with the wallet being very slow in responding to RPC calls, which he thinks is due to many transactions going on at the same time and a lot of addresses in the wallet. One other issue is that some transactions wouldn't process because the wallet has a maximum bytes per transaction limit which wasn't working when his script was executing orders passed this limit.

i'm not sure from a technical standpoint if number of addresses and many transactions happening would cause such an issue, but one thing for sure CUBE hasn't had any true stress tests done to see how it would handle under heavy transaction load etc. Also yuriy told me they are not staking the wallet (meaning it's always locked) and only unlocked for rpc calls/transactions. However that isn't to say in the moment that it gets unlocked to perform a transaction that any inputs in the wallet that are over the 24 hr threshold don't initiate a stake in that window the wallet gets unlocked. which would be out of yuriy's control.

Well surely didn't stop the Feds from arresting the owner of the largest torrent site and extraditing his ass from poland lol,

so I'm sure if the US wanted to they can do just about anything they want, whether it's legal will be left for the appeals court to decide Smiley)

Not true. Poland, as an example, is a NATO ally so there is a mutual interest in not harboring criminals within foreign borders. They also rely heavily on outside intervention should shit truly hit the fan

If our reach was as far as you say, then Snowden wouldn't still be writing anonymous apps (Bring the dude back and pardon him already, damn, he does good work. We want people like Snowden on OUR side)

yea let's not put the US like it doesn't do anything unethical or otherwise (off the record as they say) Wink

for example forcing them to register the exchange as a business, with full contact information available to the public, so we can file suit if necessary.

If they see they can be held liable for their actions they'll less likely try to do stupid shit

Rawx.io needs to get up and running asap

I've been speaking with Julian a little and from what I've seen so far, I feel confident he has the right idea

I dont' have an account there (can't sign up yet). But is it just a one man operation? I think you understand the significance of this question.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure. I believe at least RS is still in the shadows helping him along and several people in chat have offered/already given him help. I do know some of these names from a long time ago, too, so that's a good sign

That said, one man operations are not always a bad thing. I would rather use an exchange that RealSolid (although I do trust him while many others don't) was solely responsible for than some places with massive teams, like Cryptsy, where the writing is on the wall from Day One

Even in the light of trying to preserve 'decentralization', personally, i think some kind of regulation needs to be set in place to provide some deterrent from these guys from pulling one over on ppl when greed gets the best of them.

I'll be bothering the c-cex chatbox until Yuriy gets his shit together and fixes the wallet. If anyone wants to join in, now is the time  Wink

And I'm banned from chat for pointing out that their wallet still doesn't work. I'll be removing c-cex from everything today

PLEASE REMOVE ALL FUNDS FROM HERE IMMEDIATELY, THEY ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED ANYMORE - And this is coming from someone who used to be very good friends with them. Heed my warning or don't.. your call

is he scamming?

I believe the fuckery is strong and people will soon get bent over and fucked dry. The wallet works fine, they are lying so nobody can use it

how much cube he collected to pull this one over? prolly no way to know for sure not that'd matter anyway, unless you could ban his wallet from the network Smiley

Impossible to know. However, if wallet is freezing, it's pretty much guaranteed they are staking a ridiculous amount of inputs (like an exchange would have)

The wallet being locked for deposit/withdraw for over two weeks supports this theory0

That'd be something to add into the wallet protocol, a unique identifier that follows the coin no matter what wallet.dat file it's in or moved to another address. like fiat that has counterfeit measures Wink

fuck his ass over instead Tongue

I would, but i'm not putting btc there just to be able to chat, especially when he isn't being reliable at the moment to keep a simple task in full operation  Angry

Spots & Demon, you guys do own wallet staking? Or pool staking? Are they paying out the same amount? o.O

I stake solo

ditto, but if we did have pool staking, payouts would be potentially higher  Shocked

I'm talking about getting self-educated, cause as things are the system doesn't do it so well.

I've literally learned everything I know up to this point on my own with most information found in written documents and what i could get from ppl that were willing to provide any help at all. But one thing for sure some reason in the crypto world not many actually want to assist each other, they keep leaving ppl hanging most of the time when you ask something :/

I've done it too maybe just out of laziness. but damn the world needs teachers! as you are right nobody is born with the knowledge of today.

Crypto has taught me one thing.... is it is terrifying how many ppl don't understand money management. they just put it in their pocket take out and and spend, but don't understand the concept of how it got there how it exists why it exists and most importantly how to properly use it, save, and make it grow. :/

going back to CUBE...

To insure you have sufficient balance in your CUBE wallet, go wallet -> on the web -> coinage

you have to have a minimum of the coinage value amount in your balance or in any single transaction input (coins sent to your wallet or to yourself) to hit a stake reward everyday.
