As discussed previously 2112, this is simply caused by older nodes mining version 3 blocks at a greater pace then the newer nodes who are producing version 4 blocks. This results in a fork which is NOT caused by a defect/bug since every release has at least 200 boost unit tests and another 40~ RPC tests to test all functionality of the codebase to ensure that there are no bugs. One can simply look at the main chain to observe that there have been NO forks at all. The Litecoin developers put out multiple notices on social media platforms to advise miners on testnet to update to the latest release but there are still old miners creating blocks. The simple solution is to either a) Get the outdated miners upgraded or b) Have more version 4 hash power to out pace the version 3 hash power. This is not a unique issue to Litecoin, Bitcoin underwent the same thing where outdated nodes outpaced the newer codes, so some Bitcoin devs setup dedicated ASIC miners to ensure that it doesn't happen again which is the same course of action we'll undertake in order to prevent this from happening until enough of the older miners update their software.
We're up to the final stages of releasing 0.13.2, in which you'll see new block version getting produced on before we push the release out to the public.
Why not option C) Ban the old version from connecting

Good god. I'm really getting a lesson in economics on an online forum. I understand the concept of value. Cash has no physical value but it is backed by something which makes it legal tender.
Cash or fiat is backed by governments who have guns who want you to pay tax in their fiat All the more reason to escape to crypto

No need to rush under panic situation but holding is best policy at the moment. If you can afford even buying at such low price is also good. We are going to see a good decent floor at over 0.0004 soon in couple of days. Unfortunately due to new years spending I ran short of money else could garbing much more than now.
You might be right! The amount available for sale went from 1850000 down to 1235000 in a few hours on bittrex ...looking good from where I'm sitting! 4000 sats that is agree. 50 million total tokens, correct? no more will ever be minted, correct? 14 million, correct no more will be created

If you've invested, just hold. Wait till after bounties are released and the market adjusts from that, and the weak hands are shaken out. Also don't forget we're in a BTC Rally, so Alts are taking a hit as this is normal suppression a lot of ppl just want to sell their btc for profit, hence the sell pressure in Alts. Give it some time, Once BTC shows a stable price or retraces, Alts will recover again

He doesn't have to justify the value, because in crypto the market decides that and as of right now the market (us traders) feel 2540 sats is the worth of this token. So you can ask the ppl that are buying it for that amount, why are they buying it for that price. Sigwo's only concern is marketing, developing and providing consultancy for his blockchain applications to corporations that will use it. Looking at the price he sold DARs for on ICO, being 2500 & 4000 sats, for all we know, they're numbers pulled out of a hat, there's really no guideline to decide what price they should've been sold at. What we do know, is that 300 BTC worth of it sold at those prices, as that's what it was accepted at. Now the market will trade until a floor is found and or pump to a higher price simply cause there's profit for whales to pump coins and dump them. Regardless of the usage cases behind a token. we've seen it a thousand times even the shit coins get pumped for no rhyme or reason besides that the MM makes profit in doing so.

Thanks for answering my questions folks. This is supported by, what appears to be, teenagers who are unable to engage in discourse. No wonder you trade in the alt-market.
Last words of advice to anyone who isn't getting freebies to promote this coin: read the white paper. It's short and easy.
Firstly, I'm 32, and I answered you civilly. Secondly, thank you for bumping the thread. Thirdly, if you read the whitepaper which the way you just pointed it out here in your post is that you're already self-informed of the project/tech and future prospect. that you only proved you just trolled. Bravo and lastly, Glad to know you're an investor. So what's your other BCT account? I've no idea what BCT is, I only hold bitcoin and shadowcash long-term. I do not sit here to make money as I didn't luck out enough in 13 to hold that much BTC to manipulate markets. I want to put my money in the right pots at this point. I read the white paper, several times to make sure I wasn't missing anything, and it only provides three hypothetical situations without remotely discussing what "darcrus" is as a store of value. BCT = Bitcointalk It doesn't physically store value, neither does bitcoin, there's no actual money in the token, neither in bitcoin. it's simply software code, you understand? CODE that is given "value" by trading it for some value ppl think it's worth in Bitcoins, and Bitcoins (software code) is traded for some value ppl think it's worth in USD/fiat. there's no actually money in the coin/token/software code. That's why we need exchanges. It's the same thing as buying software from a store that are in those boxes with a CD-Rom inside. so once you have the software in hand, it has 0 value until you find someone who will buy it for what they think it's worth. just like diamonds are intrinsically worthless unless you can find someone that will give you fiat/gold/crypto or whatever currency of value in trade for it. Hope that makes sense.

It's valued at what ppl think it's worth, by placing buy orders at what they feel to buy it at. Just like we think 1 USD is worth 1 USD for no other reason then that's what it's worth, even so the USD has nothing to back up it's value but faith So, if this token has more value or less value, it's because that's what ppl's faith in it are to be worth what it's worth at that point in time. Furthermore, if whatever companies take part in using Sigwo's tech/platform and they have to use DARs to pay for his services or do transactions with DAR the corporation will have to buy more dars, which means buying coins from the sell side of the books on teh exchange(s) thus pushing price up. Have you traded on an exchange ? you shoud do this, you will then understand price movement. better than explaining it.

I am trying to understand the cost/benefit of this project. Frankly, I don't see how currency or a unit of value has anything to do with this? It appears to be a glorified Access database, but marketed towards businesses. Personally, I wouldn't want a lot of my data available for public review on a blockchain versus a private database. The "dApp" certainly could be cobbled together in Access in less than an hour with all the same functionality. So, other than making quick XBT for whomever pulled this idea out of the air, what is the value in this?
Can you read any of this data?whats wrong with sigwo answer? What is wrong is he doesn't answer my question. How is this a currency rather than simply software or a data management solution? Why is it monetized? Blockchain is not synonymous with currency. It is only a technology, so how does this create monetary value? It's currency because it's traded on an exchange for exchangeable value in BTC and ultimately to Fiat, that's just the nature of the token simply being available to do so. Are you really that ignorant?

Sigwo's response was right on point, you couldn't understand lol which was exactly the concern you wanted address that you stated: "Personally, I wouldn't want a lot of my data available for public review on a blockchain versus a private database". The screenshot proved exactly that.. it's not

it's saying your missing the file:
boost/mpl/list/aux_/preprocessed/plain/list10.hpp
from your terminal run:
$ locate list10.hpp
then copy it from where it's found to that directory, and try to compile again
Nope, I just don't think boost is installing properly. Its giving me a bunch of weird errors now. Is there a way to install boost and mxe that actually works? download and compile boost yourself, then install it in the mxe directory https://sourceforge.net/projects/boost/files/boost/run from boost directory: ./bootstrap.sh --with-toolset=gcc ./b2 --clean-all echo "using mpi ;" >> project-config.jam ./b2 --prefix=<mxe boost installation directory> --toolset=gcc link=static install

Only about 2 hours left until ICO ends! Get your Dar while it's hot What's total distribution looking to be, about < 15M DARs or so? Yeah I'm estimating around 12 Million coins. Supply looking very tasty! nom nom nom, can't wait to see the public token burning celebration so if 12 miilion coins is burning what is distribution bounty still keep in total coin or can reduce total coin to distribution bounty no it's more like 30 million coins is burning bro Bounties are separate but part of the total coin supply
