https://www.coindesk.com/information/bitcoin-ecommerce-services-merchants/

There are actually many e-commerce that accepts bitcoin as a payment method. There is a long list actually and so because I am tired of typing them I decided to post the link here so you can check it out. The list of e-commerce was listed by coindesk.com by one of their articles. So feel free to check them out and I hope it can help you. If it does dont forget to send some merits.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 23, 2018, 08:38:14 AM
For me, owning a bitcoin isn't like possessing a gun, it's because bitcoin is money and an investment. Bitcoin is very legal here in my country, there is no way holding it can be a crime.

In your country where bitcoin is legalized and accepted then it could never be a crime but to other countries who have banned bitcoin, then it is another story. If you were to use bitcoin in those countries and you will be found out by the government then you could probably face some punishment for violating the law.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - If you had the choice to vote - Commodity or Currency? on: April 23, 2018, 08:35:53 AM
If I were to choose I will choose both. The reason is simple its because whatever bitcoin maybe a commodity or a currency I am earning from them. If only one existed then one of my online jobs will disappear but if bitcoin will remain as a currency and a commodity then I can keep both of my online jobs. It does not only apply to me but to all other people out there. So let us not choose but rather let us select both.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany gives tax exemption for bitcoin exchange operators on: April 22, 2018, 03:06:01 PM
Germany sees bitcoin as a currency, equivalent to legal means of payment, an alternative to fiat and an acceptable mode of payment. They will not tax the person who buys coffee using bitcoin. More interestingly, they are not to tax bitcoin Exchange operators who are using their name or act as intermediaries for buying and selling bitcoin. Not included in this exemptions though are exchanges that operate as a technical marketplace.

This actually is the evidence that bitcoin can be regarded as a currency, not as an asset wherein every mkve you make using it you will be taxed. If only more countries will accept bitcoin as payment then it will really level up how people look at bitcoin.

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/germany-considers-crypto-legal-equivalent-to-fiat-for-tax-purposes/

Germany really understands the nature of cryptocurrencies so their taxation was fair and just for these digital cryptocurrencies. Possibly they have seen cryptocurrencies as a currency and not as a property, stock or a commodity which is taxable. Taxing exchanges is the right way but the taxation is called the business and income tax. I salute Germany and this principle is also applied in the Philippines. Hope other parts of the world also uses this kind of fair taxation.
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's face it: most powerful CryptoCapitalists are the Tether founders on: April 22, 2018, 03:00:36 PM
no one has such a huge influence over the value of cryptocurrencies like the tether founders, people still trust tethercoins like they are actual us dollars.

and tether has bought many altcoins as with tethercoins into their secret reserve portfolio, in order to hedge their postion

if someone truly can upvalue your beloved bitcoin then its the tether founders/owners.

you want to pump bitcoin go to them

they are currently the worlds most powerful cryptocapitalists.

they are even more powerful than so called "institutional" investors like the rockefellers, rothshilds, or soros as they have an image to defend, tether can obviously act as it wants.

this will continue till the us dollar loses trust of its main creditors

-> germany, japan, china the worlds biggest exporters, neglecting the us dollar trade deficit.

when the banks there change mood, things will change for tether

Thank you for the Merit.

The creators of Tethers have really made a good profit since when you deposit US dollars into their account they will give you tether dollar to your balance. This is a good innovation and good innovation really means good profit. The exchange said that 1 tether is equivalent to 1 dollar this means that the more tether you have in you account the more wealthy they are.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Anomaly of Time & Events! Thoughts! on: April 22, 2018, 02:46:18 PM
Bitcoin is volatile in nature since it is a market based cryptocurrency but there are no patterns on the movement of bitcoin and such similarity may just be a product of a coincidence. Let us look at the facts back to 2013 and 2014 when bitcoin crashed its value from 1000$ to 300$ but it never occurred again. If history repeats itself then bitcoin could not reach its value today since if the theory was true then by  2015 bitcoin could hit 1000$ and will fall back to 300$ and the same will repeat again to 2016 and 2017. Though there are price crashes but all of those are different and unique to each other.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why the current crypto currency market is worse than the Rothschild central bank on: April 22, 2018, 02:27:13 PM
The reason why there are scamming and worst cryptocurrency is because there are no regulations or entity to filter out legit cryptocurrency from shitty and useless coins and tokens. Those usells coins are those coins made by developers to extract money from the public or those coins who have a very low chance of success. This may sound cruel but if you became a victim of those shitty and useless ICO's then you can say that the cryptocurrency world is worst than Rothschild banking system.
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your experience with FOMO (fear of missing out) on: April 22, 2018, 01:58:58 PM

Fear of missing out is familiar to many.
It is known from psychology that fear-based factors also affect people in the crypto market, emotions drive their choices more than intellect.

How have you dealt with FOMO?

I have been also troubled by that thought before since I did not avail of bitcoins at a very low value. But I have overcome of those thoughts already and instead of thinking back I decided to think on how to earn more bitcoins at this point of time. There are no late comers in bitcoin as of today since bitcoin is just starting and there are many people who have not gone into bitcoin. If we dont join bitcoin today and join after 5 years then we will experience that so called FOMO and regrets.
369  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone needs to report the @Bitcoin twitter handle immediately on: April 22, 2018, 01:44:51 PM
Roger Ver's strategy is quite unique and it is trying to trap all new comers into bitcoin in buying bitcoin cash. So it is really needed that we should help distributing this kind of information amongst bitcoin holders and to the ones who are planning to join bitcoin. This kind of strategy may really affect the future increase of users in bitcoin and Roger Ver must be stopped.
370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cooling enviroment for an bigger farm on: April 22, 2018, 01:41:58 PM
Hello guys!

I'm going to start an bigger bitcoin farm, but meeting some issues.
When it comes to the cooling.. i'm far away from an cooling expert so some help would be very appreicated!

My research so far, is for the Antminer T9

At 842 Kw/h would be 2 872 904 BTUs and 842 000 jules.

1 KW * 3412 = BTUs 1 KW = 1000 joules per second

So the question is how muh cooling is needed?

Thank you in advance!

Wow, I did not know that Antminer T9 was already out in the market. I was mining 2 years ago using s7 before I stopped. Your set up is good and I guess you will have a quality mining. But I cannot suggest anything about cooling since T9' set up is different from S7. I do recommend that you post this comment on the mining section since there are a lots of miners there which can help you.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Supreme Court Orders Revision of Bitcoin Website Ban-GOOD FOR CRYPTO on: April 22, 2018, 12:07:30 PM
Well it is a good news to russian cryptocurrency holders if the ban will be lift up. This banning of bictoin and cryptocurrency exchanges is a mess and have affected the cryptocurrency economy. Though the order was for reconsideration but it does not say about lifting the ban off. So let us just hope and wait for the order to be released if it is completeley banned or lifting of ban order.
372  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jack Dorsey, chief executive of Twitter BTC Will Wecome Primary Global Currency on: April 22, 2018, 11:16:05 AM
This post have already been posted here in this forum for a couple of times already. I also keep on posting this kind of information but only a few have really read and noticed. I appreciate your effort in posting this topic again since this proves that twitter is not against bitcoin but twitter promotes onlyone cryptocurrency and that is bitcoin.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A must watch CRYPTO Documentary on: April 21, 2018, 03:36:16 AM
This documentary portrays some details about bitcoin history but what they are focusing is more on the market value of bitcoin. The documentary presents the factors on why has the value of bitcoin goes up and down, how its volatility occurred and how should we deal with it. This documentary is helpful and I hope more people will watch it.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think will happen next? on: April 21, 2018, 03:31:45 AM
actually bitcoin has also dropped dramatically in previous years, only still in small numbers, whereas now the fall of bitcoin prices has touched a large number that makes some people think that it is a scam. actually if we always pay attention to the price graph of bitcoin, bitcoin is always up and down and that's a common thing to happen. so I thought it was going to go up.

After the huge dump or crash, bitcoins value has started to stabilize and just recently it slowly is moving up. If you notice that the price increase movement has started from slow but the speed is increasing daily. A new bullish market is now happening and its only a matter of time before we see 12k$. By December the bullish market will eventually soar up to 25k$ to 50k$.
375  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Stabilising? on: April 21, 2018, 03:28:15 AM
Bitcoin for the past few months have not been spiking again as we experienced in 2017, the price has not gone beyond 12k, my question is that is the price now stabilizing?.

Yes the price of bitcoin has stabilized and even if there are huge dumps the price recovery is fast. This stability in value is a sign that the bearish market is already over and it is a go signal to start buying again. At this point of time more traders are going into the market and will start to buy bitcoins. Eventually the result is that bitcoins price will start to increase from this point of time.
376  Economy / Speculation / Re: why did the price of bitcoin and other crypto increased so fast in value under 3 on: April 21, 2018, 03:25:34 AM
Its not all about the whales. though we cannot deny that the whales can cause the price of bitcoin to surge but let us not overlook the traders and the people who are starting to buy bitcoins again. Good news are coming into bitcoin and those news are so great that people are tempted to buy more btc. This has led to a stable price and this stability has attracted traders to buy bitcoins since this is a sign of a bullish market movement.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin legal on: April 21, 2018, 03:20:58 AM
I really feel quite nervous. Previously, our government determined that Bitcoin trading was illegal. But the accumulation of Bitcoin as a kind of personal property is not a problem. However, last week in my country uncovered a big scam involving Bitcoin. So, the government is issuing tight-knit orders for Bitcoin-related activities. The government has really strengthened the Crytocurrency market. Hope everything will be quickly removed.

The government cannot be blamed in this issue. The tightening of the government against cryptocurrency is just because they have no choice but to uphold public service and protect the peoples interest. The real thing to blame are the scammers who uses bitcoins in their illicit schemes. Those people are a threat to bitcoin and it is because of them that the government have become very strict.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to withstand whales? on: April 21, 2018, 03:12:02 AM
We cannot really go against a whales since the amount of btc they are holding even reaches to more than a hundred thousand bitcoins. The only way to withstand them is to not go against their movement but to join with their flow. If for example they will dump huge amount of btc and that will cause panic then you started buying bitcoins and when the whales are pumping the coins it is your time to sell them.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: End of Dragon Era? on: April 21, 2018, 03:07:02 AM
Soon China will be surpassed by Japan and other European countries. With the banning of cryptocurrency at China some miners have already stopped mining. Others have transferred mining locations and are now mining on other countries and others have mined in secret. If China will still not release this ban then soon mining in China will deteriorate until it will die out.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Had a talk with my son today about my bitcoins on: April 21, 2018, 03:01:58 AM
I sat my 7yr old son down and showed him my ledger nano and how to use it in case anything ever happens to me.
I explained there is electronic money on it and it will be his one day. Went through the process of wiping it and restoring with the seed. But reminded him never ever tell anyone about it is our secret.

He's a smart kid and was amazed at how it's secured by an extremely complex code and that no one can steal the money you can take it anywhere and it's safer than a bank because the ledger is a bank itself (i know that's not quite correct but still). I didn't tell him how much are on there but told him one day it will be extremely valuable that's why I'm telling him about it is for him when he grows up.

Later that day we talked about how to secure the seed and printing it on a metal plate. He thinks it is so cool.

It amazed me how a child instantly understood it and showed how cryptos are for the future generations not us. We are early adopters so buy at least 1 bitcoin for your kids. Just might set them up for life.

That is a good idea but for me a 7 year old is not yet responsible enough and could make mistakes. But that age is a good age wherein we could already teach him the knowledge about bitcoin and how to use it as well as its nature. But for me I dont want to risk my bitcoin to 7 year old, at this age I will only share knowledge but when he will turns 18 that is the time I will give him a bitcoin.
