661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Coinbase to Add Support for ERC20 Tokens on: March 30, 2018, 07:02:43 AM
The ERC20 standard has become popular in the recent past for teams to quickly build interoperable contracts/assets. Coinbase will add tokens after listing on GDAX and after evaluating them on metrics such as liquidity and stability.

Read more information: Coinbase to Add Support for ERC20 Tokens

Well, this kind of development towards erc20 tokens is great. I have many Erc20 tokens in myetherwallet and hope to store it in much safer site since my other myetherwallet were already hacked and that is why I want to have a diverse wallet to keep my tokens. Coinbase, if they will succeed in doing so will be very helpful to me but to the cryptocurrency market as well.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: OKEX illegally liquidated a Chinese man's $10M worth of Bitcoin on: March 30, 2018, 06:57:31 AM
Video at OKEX office: https://twitter.com/8bitandstuff/status/979488349038592001

Context: The bottle he was holding was Dichlorvos (a banned pesticide). He threatened the CEO of #Okex that he will drink it right in front of him. This man lost his 8 months old child, and his wife wanted to divorce him for losing all these money. The "illegality“ here was due to OKEx futures price crashing 30%-40% more than every other margin exchange, when spot price merely went down by 5%.  This greatly reduced "leeway" and made liquidation inevitable. In the case today, spot price went from $7,200 to $6,900, while Okex quarterlies futures price crashed to a low of $4,800. You will get liquidated regardless. How can this be normal?

OKEX Response: OKEX ended up rolling back all future contracts as a result of the pricing error.
Source: https://support.okex.com/hc/en-us/articles/360002279012

Thoughts on this? Honestly some pretty crazy stuff and its unacceptable how the price of BTC on a large exchange like OKEX managed to go down to $4800 when it was $7000 everywhere else (automatically liquidating all future contracts

Every exchanges has its own market and those market moves differently. Though most of the times they have a little difference in gaps but there are times when the gaps are really high. What happened to OKEX is very possible since the movement of the trade depends on the buy and sale. The man on the other hand cannot blame OKEX but himself. But he has nothing to worry about all he need to do is wait for the price to go back up again.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: can anyone here could be able to stop the bitcoin fall down of market price? on: March 30, 2018, 05:55:23 AM
The bitcoin continue to drop of its market price and some of the members or investors here are having a panic that bitcoin may end already. This is not usual happening since bitcoin is always raising its price even after its market price drop. it is indeed very unusual for this event of bitcoin to happen. Nevertheless i am.hoping that someone couls might be able to stop the falling of bitcoin market price. Thougj i know that it is impossible to stop the fall with just one person but i hope that we will unite and buy bitcoin together as to move the bitcoin market price higher. well is.there anybody here could buy a couple of btc?

Actually the buying already starts and as you can see the value of bitcoin from the 6700$ is now at 7000$. Bitcoin is fast recovering since the dump was a small volume and so it will be easily be overcome and the value can come back easily to 8k$. This time around bitcoin will stay stable at 8k$, so it is the best time to buy bitcoin while it is at 7000$  before it even reaches 8k$ this day.
664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Circumstantial Perspective Concerning This Crypto Crash on: March 30, 2018, 05:27:13 AM
Well we have seen another bitcoin price drop this day and the reason according to many sources is the banning of Twitter of cryptorelated ads and ICO's. But this is just temporary fall down,  some body in this forum have checked the wallets of those big whales and he observed that the whales are not selling their bitcoins but instead buying them. This means that the issue we are facing right now is because of the people whoa re panicking due to twitters move.
665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why GOV is not supporting the CRYPTOCURRENCY LIKE OTHER NEW TECHNOLOGY??? on: March 30, 2018, 05:14:24 AM
I am thinking this from long time.what is the problem with this.it has lot of benefit like instant transfer any where in the world, less transaction fee,no need to exchange,ONE CURRENCY ONE WOLD.

Then I came to conclusion that this is all because of control. If gov support the cryptocurrency then he loose the control from monetary policy.it can toppel the gov,BECAUSE money is ultimate control of the politics.

this is my opinion ,Am I right or there is any other reason??

That is the main reason why some the government does not allow cryptocurrency in their political jurisdiction. Accepting cryptocurrency is not a simple matter since there may be negative impacts on the society especially on financial sector and the economy. Another thing is that cryptocurrency enables a person to be anonymous hence it may be prone to be used by criminals and can be a tool for money laundering.  But some countries have accepted bitcoin and cryptocurrency after a thorough study and after establishing some regulations to protect the investors and the economy of the country.
666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Accelerate adoption, open an online store on: March 30, 2018, 04:46:56 AM
I do agree with your statement and what keeps bitcoin from being a true cryptocurrency is that it was treated as a holding. But the problem nowadays with bitcoin is that it is not so merchant friendly since when they accept bitcoin and its value fell down they will suffer also from the price drop.

But for merchants if bitcoins value is at dip it is a good time to accept cryptocurrency or bitcoin since if its value goes up you will earn a multiple times of profit from your sales because of btc.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does anyone here had a fight because of bitcoin? on: March 30, 2018, 04:36:15 AM
I have read your post carefully that their fight is not because of bitcoin or any kind of cryptocurrency. The fight occurred because the othered have fauled and loathed his altcoin. The cause of the fight is not even the altcoin but the negative act done by one person towards the other. If somebody made a negative thing towards you our usual reaction is that we will not get angry.  But I get what you are talking about and I said yes because somebody scammed me of my bitcoin and until now we are not in good terms.
668  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is the most "feared investment" on: March 30, 2018, 04:01:29 AM
In 2013 to 2014, Bitcoin crashed from $1000 to $200

From 2016 to March 2018 Bitcoin was:

$1,000 to $20,000

$20,000 to $6,500

$6500 to to $12,000

$12,000 to $7,500   Grin

Bitcoin is the most "feared investment" after going up from $1 to $10,000 in 9 years and big names saying bad things for Bitcoin and cryptos

If there are who feared bitcoin there are who loves bitcoin. During the bitcoin crash there are many who cried and there are many who have jumped for joy since they can buy bitcoins at a lower value. If you fear bitcoin then you will not earn in bitcoin just like fearing to put up a business because you think it will not be successful. In any kind of investment ad business there are ups and downs this also includes bitcoin since that is the nature of market and investment. The world of business and crypto is like a seesaw in order for someone to gain someone must lose but sometimes there is also balance and nobody lose or win. But in the end you will not know if you dont try. I just love bitcoin and I never feared it.
669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Isn't crazy how much does bitcoin exchange earn? on: March 30, 2018, 03:54:35 AM
i just did a simple calculation, about 35k bitcoins are traded on GDAX every day. At its current price of $6900 and a trading fee of 0.3%, the exchange puts about $700,000 in its pocket EACH DAY and it is ONLY for bitcoin. After including all other cryptos, this number can go up to more than $2MM. Since the exchange is active 365 days a year, the exchange's annual revenue can reach almost $1bn!!

Well that is how exchanges live and survive and earn money. But not all exchanges have a high success rate. Exchanges spend  huge of amount promoting their website and have paid a number of people to be known and to gather more clients. Without clients exchange will bound to fail. I remember the exchange live.megacrypton, it disappeared from the web since only a few users are trading.

Aside from the huge income, the exchanges also make sure that all coins in their site is moving and so they create transaction flows which sometimes are risky and cause them to loss a significant amount of btc.
670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WHALES DID NOT SELL THEIR BTC (ANALISYS TABLE) on: March 30, 2018, 03:39:34 AM

Please refer to the above able.

Whales didn't sell their BTC.

Instead, they bought more BTCs during the current dropping of BTC price.

It means...
The price will go up again soon.

Good luck guys and HODL!  Smiley

At first I thought the whales have been selling huge amount of bitcoin. But when I checked the movement of buy and sell the btc volume is low. Compared to the drop from 20k$ to 18k$ you can see the large volume of bitcoin being sold. At this time all I can see is that the sold btc are less than 1 btc per transaction. I also see the potential of bitcoins value rising up sooner.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC price in March 2017 on: March 30, 2018, 03:19:20 AM
As i collect in this market
"Roadmap" BTC

✅March 2010:  $0.003

✅March 2011:        $1

✅March 2012:        $5

✅March 2013:      $80

✅March 2014:    $600

✅March 2015:    $250

✅March 2016:    $400

✅March 2017:    $950

✅March 2018: $?Huh

Let guess Smiley). We MUST take s break at the mment 😁😁😁😁

Bitcoins value this march have bracketed the lowest at 6000$ and the highest at 9k$. At the end of march bitcoin fell down again at 6800$ but this is just temporary since starting the next month April bitcoins going to increase again in value. Twitters announcement of banning cryptocurrency related ads and ICO's will actually benefit bitcoin. As the Twitter CEO said that bitcoin may be the only remaining cryptocurreny online; this means that all other cryptocurrency may disappear and only bitcoin will remain.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will BTC test 5970 USD as it goes into contango on: March 30, 2018, 03:14:04 AM
I dont believe bitcoin will fall down to that value. Though bitcoin has dropped below 7k$ and it went down to 6800$ but it is just temporary and it will go back again to 8k$. The reason why the value went down in a surge is that the whales have tried to manipulate the bitcoin market riding the issue of twitter banning cryptocurrency ads and ICO's. This move have caused the traders to panic and sell their coins only to find out later on that they are being played by the big whales. In this game of tug and war the whales are always having the advantage. If you panic you will lose.
673  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: felling depressed for holding bitcoin :/ on: March 30, 2018, 02:41:40 AM
i have 0.5 btc on my hand
but the problem is btc is falling day by day
its hits me in my heart like a spike
cs i buy this btc on 12000$
now im in loss of 5000$
it has fall onto 7000$
what shoud i do?
should i keep it???

Always remember a certain principle in trading and that is buy low and sell high. At this point of time instead of worrying you should prepare your money to buy bitcoin at a lower value. Bitcoin will again increase in value and the price drop today is just an overreaction to the ban caused by twitter. The big whales are moving in together with the issue so that people will panic and sell their bitcoins at a lower value and so the whales can buy them cheap.
674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin will be the only remaing cryptocurrency online!!! on: March 30, 2018, 02:36:57 AM
Twitters banning of cryptocurrency related ads and ICO's is a huge attack on cryptocurrency world. This may sound bad, but this is a good news for bitcoin. If you have read the article the twitter CEO mentioned this " bitcoin would likely stand as the world’s “single” currency, and that fiat or other forms of virtual money would become obsolete or nonexistent; the world ultimately will have a single currency; the internet will have a single currency. I personally believe that it will be bitcoin.” (https://bitcoinmagazine.com/articles/twitter-abruptly-bans-cryptocurrency-ads-beginning-today/)

These are the words being thrown by Twitter CEO and I was surprised to see that bitcoins value had dropped again. Those statements are telling us not to sell our bitcoin today but rather we must sell other altcoins and buy more bitcoins. If what he said is true then we the bitcoin holders will be really rich in the future.
675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DON'T let THOSE FUD'ers SINK in YOU on: March 29, 2018, 12:59:00 PM
If we all believe in FUD'ers then bitcoin will really fall down. These false news somehow are being made by people in panic and people who hate bitcoin. While some posts are orchestrated and its goal is to destroy bitcoin since it is a threat to them. This is just my opinion but based on my observation it seems someone is pulling the strings behind the scenes that is why many users here in this forum as well as many news site for cryptocurrency have posted false news against bitcoin. But despite those false news if we stay strong and believe on bitcoin then bitcoin will remain strong and will increase in value.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: March 26 -This is the Bottom I call it! on: March 29, 2018, 09:16:42 AM
This is not a rebound but a recovery. When we say rebound there is a huge tendency that bitcoin will go back to 6000$ per coin but when we say recovery it does not say anything but an increasing value. Bitcoin is starting to move again and this time it has signaled that it will start to increase. Big trading groups have also predicted that bitcoin will start recovering this April until December.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: March 29, 2018, 09:13:50 AM
Saw this study on twitter... https://twitter.com/Zeex_me/status/978981735101878272

I've seen a lot of people asking about how many legit ICOs there are, so I thought I'd share

Quote from the article: "The study begins by breaking down ICOs into 6 groups: Scam, Failed, Gone Dead, Dwindling, Promising, Successful. “On the basis of the above classification,” they wrote, “we found that approximately 81% of ICO’s were Scams, ~6% Failed, ~5% had Gone Dead, and ~8% went on to trade on a exchange.”

"Scams were defined by researchers as “Any project that expressed availability of [an] ICO investment (through a website publishing, ANN thread, or social media posting with a contribution address), did not have/had no intention of fulfilling project development duties with the funds, and/or was deemed by the community (message boards, website or other online information) to be a scam.”

DYOR people ...

The reason why the scam ICO's rounds up to 81% is because people who experienced that the ICO's have not give them profit as promised they will immediately call them scammers. Those ICO's that are being called scams are ICOs who have failed, gone dead and some went on trade but encountered a huge dump of value. This will explain that if you ask an individual most of them will say that ICO's are scam.
678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting tired of waiting on: March 29, 2018, 08:45:38 AM
I don’t know how much more. My $1350 investment is worth $526.78 as of this moment. My coins were BTH, LTC, and ETH.

Well at least you only lost a small amount while my 2500$ became 1200 and it is still going down. But I follow a simple principle in trading and that is to buy low and sell high so as long as the value is still low then I will not sell. Patience is the key sometimes and a long term trade is necessary if a consecutive red market appeared. As long as the coin still exists then it still has a chance of increasing in value in the future.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter To Start Banning Cryptocurrency-Related Advertisements From Tomorrow`` on: March 29, 2018, 08:13:44 AM
Social media platform Twitter is to start banning cryptocurrency advertisements from tomorrow.

Read more : https://www.currencytimes.co.in/twitter-to-start-banning-cryptocurrency-related-advertisements-from-tomorrow/

This news is spreading like wildfire in the social media and was always being discussed here in this forum. But this news can no longer affect the value of bitcoin since the crypto enthusiasts organization are planning to sue facebook, google and twitter for abusing their authority and power to ban cryptocurrency related ads and articles. SO much for this despite of this bad news we can still expect an increase in bitcoins value in the succeeding months.
680  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: March 29, 2018, 07:52:11 AM
Ofcourse NOT, but given the fact that China is a very huge country and has a very huge number of people this will somewhat affect the number of bitcoin users, bitcoin investors and people who demands bitcoin. Furthermore, may result to decrease the value of bitcoin.

The issue on China banning cryptocurrency happened a year ago already and up to now bitcoin is still alive. Though the banning of bitcoin in China has caused a huge dump among holders and has contributed to the price fall of bitcoin. But as of now China is no longer affecting the bitcoins value but the banning of facebook, google and soon twitter have played a detrimental impact on bitcoins value.
