1301  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 15, 2016, 09:06:24 AM
Another reason is that in order to buy something with bitcoins, you have to buy coins first.
So why buy the coins when you can buy the product you want to have directly.
1302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 08:13:43 AM
And bitcoin transactions are not reversible.
Which is the reason why most of the users here, including me have switched to bitcoin completely or haven't yet used Paypal at all. I don't like a company which has a horrible reputation of taking the side of the scammer, in control of my money

One of the reasons why I'm here too.
But most people want the feeling of safety. Especially when it comes up to their money.
Irreversability of course is not the only thing that makes people feel not safe when they think about bitcoins.
1303  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 07:34:34 AM
And bitcoin transactions are not reversible.
Many people pay by paypal where it is possible be refunded without the blessing of the contracting party.
This security does not exist with bitcoins (escrows excluded, but you have to have some experience with bitcoins to use that).
1304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada Taxing Bitcoin Transactions on: March 08, 2016, 03:36:48 PM
This thread slept for three years since post #43.
Have there been any development during that time in canada?

1307  Other / Off-topic / Re: What else besides Bitcoin r u doing to make money online? on: March 03, 2016, 11:24:32 AM
Tried to sell nude pictures of myself but nobody wanted them.
Maybe there is just no market for that.
1308  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: March 03, 2016, 07:57:23 AM
Haven't had any problems with them.
Just had two transactions from yobit yesterday and they went smoothly.
1309  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin and Porn on: March 02, 2016, 03:09:47 PM
Bitcoin and porn match. In both areas people want anonymity.
The reason why it has not been developed any further might be that the porn site should explain the Bitcoin concept ( including an easy way to buy Bitcoin) to their customers.
1310  Economy / Economics / Re: Forget Grexit. BREXIT is the Bigger Threat to Europe. on: February 23, 2016, 07:54:57 PM
Uk will leave after the vote in june. British people see themselves as British people, not as Europeans. Can't blame them there.
I see bigger problems for UK than I see for the rest of the Eu, if that happenes.
Brexit can't be compared to grexit cause UK has not the € as fiat.
1311  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [ANN] Alien Faucet - 4010 Satoshi an HOUR (limited) on: February 20, 2016, 10:57:05 PM
Me too, got emails every day but was not able to log in.
Balance is gone, so I won't create a new account.
Don't want to be scammed twice by the same page.
1312  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: February 18, 2016, 09:55:38 PM
I really did not think Augsburg could hold a draw against Liverpool.
1313  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 17, 2016, 07:01:38 PM
I see four women at the moment, one of them is performing a show.
And about as many visitors, only guests.

I think xotika has the potential to grow, with more advertisement.
1314  Economy / Economics / Re: What percentage of people on Earth will own Bitcoin by 2020 on: February 17, 2016, 07:35:04 AM
2020 is only 4 years away.
How many % are using Bitcoins now? I think far less than 1%.
Do not think that will change a lot till 2020.
1315  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 16, 2016, 10:45:52 PM
Might be really harder to attract models who are willing to pe paid with btc than i thought.
Are the models supported in any way regarding btc, or do they have to have the necessary knowledge when they start?
1316  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: XOtika.TV - Adult Cam Site Fully powered by Bitcoin is ONLINE ! on: February 16, 2016, 05:49:29 PM
I just visited your site and i like it.
Good cam quality, you just need more ladies.

Is there a twitter account or facebook?
I am not sure why they are not advertising their social media here, in this thread.  I was looking for xotika social media links in the past and I found their twitter account: https://twitter.com/xotikatv
Also this Reddit AMA session with Xotika developers: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/3er616/im_the_developer_of_bitcoin_adult_streaming/
And I believe this is their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Xotika.TV/info?tab=page_info

I really think that there could be done more at the advertising front.
In twitter for example there have been two tweets from xotica during the last 6 months.
1317  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How can we encourage local businesses to accept BTC? on: February 16, 2016, 11:07:26 AM
my friend has a coffee bar and i talked to him about bitcoin, for him it's too risky, but i convinced him to receive btc from me when i buy a coffe, for the moment he is happy whit the 0.05 made from my coffess

True, lokal businesses are interested in the lokal fiat. They don't want to have exchange it and get later lessfiat for the same amount of Btc. Or become scammed during trading and get nohing at all.
1318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Lost password on: February 16, 2016, 09:54:53 AM
are you sure it is your wallet??
1319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Faucets are going to die? on: February 16, 2016, 08:14:45 AM
Faucets have their best days behind them.
No good traffic, payouts are a joke, too complicated compared to time effort, too many bots.

Just newbies go there untill they realize it's not worth it.
1320  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Paypal ---> BTC + 10% on: February 15, 2016, 08:17:23 AM
For some reason it's mostly a newbie who wants to pay with paypal.
I can imagine why..
