Due to the higher than normal solo hashrate it is time now for a pool to be open.

Thanks to the work of D34TH there is a now a BBQcoin pool at http://pool.bbqcoin.org

It is still in early days so any problems the please send them to the bbqcoin.org forums and we will get it sorted.

D34TH awarded the 25,000 BQC bounty for the first pool which will be paid for by me and will be confirm as received on here.

Miner details : pool.bbqcoin.org:8337

Stats updated every two minutes.

PPLNS Payout system.

I'm not getting shares...

Thats because the share diff is the same as BQC diff. You will only find blocks and get full block value (minus his 1% fee) by that way

Capt, I command you to fix the share diff now (lol)

This is all being worked on, the site is still beta right now.

I am mining on the pool... but my stats aren't updating  Wink

I will NEVER ask for any kind of funds up front in a buy/sale of anything on bitcointalk.

Thanks for this.  This is a great step forward for BBQ.

I pointed a rig at the pool. But like has already been mentioned, stats aren't updating

Charlie Kelly: I'm pleading the 5th.  The Attorney: I would advise you do that.  Charlie Kelly: I'll take that advice under cooperation, alright? Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird law and see who comes out the victor?  The Attorney: You know, I don't think I'm going to do anything close to that and I can clearly see you know nothing about the law.

Hi, cgminer says that I'm finding loads of blocks for the pool, but then they all get rejected?
Is this supposed to happen?
I must have found about 300 blocks for the pool, but this is what I'm getting:

Found block for pool 0!
Rejected xxxxxxx Diff 1/0 BLOCK! GPU 1 (unknown)

I don't think the pool is working yet. Wait until you see some stats showing on the pool.

No I didn't actually. I didn't realise it was scrypt. Thanks for letting me know, retrying now with that parameter.

Has anyone got a an estimate of how many coins I'd make a day at the current difficulty? 870khash.
Trying to figure out if I should solo mine or mine in a pool.

Ok, so let’s say its 0.13 now. Does anyone know how to calculate whether my 870 khash would be better off solo mining or joining a pool?
If solo mining is a viable option, how do I calculate how long it will take me to find a block?

Sorry for the offtopic:

If you need to buy some bqcoins there is a deal right now, and you can get them before they go crazy on the rumored exchange

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=176368.0

PM ME or post in thread to buy some coins, and there are more than that deal
