How can be that a problem? When you can easily get a Bitcoin wallet in a matter of minutes. From Coinbase to Xapo you can choose a wide variety of wallets out there. Also I think that they are accepting other coins, look at the first page of the thread you will see that they are accepting LTC, ETH and Ripple for their Crowdsale Process. Recently, bitcoin transact through the wallet to another wallet are not been processed in a mintutes of time. It takes a day atleast to completed the transaction with the multiple confirmation in bitcoin. So Eth or litecoin can be used in crowdsale. Using bitcoin or conventional currency is only the way to choose a payment method for trading or investing. So bitcoin will not replace any other currency. And that's not the bitcoin's purpose. The purpose of bitcoin is known by many people and accepted by the government.
I think you have to learn more about bitcoin. Purpose not known by the people or accept as legal money by Government. Main purposes of bitcoin is a digital money system which can act as payment gateway internationally with the less amount fees to get processed. Beware of what you are downloading make sure its clean and safe to install/execute only install from trusted/verified sources its better to be safe than sorry and you can just check the price change on blockchain app[mobile] not sure how exact/accurate it is but it does show the btc rates.

Hi,
I have coinbase and I really don't like their id verification requirement. Also, they limit you on how much you can buy and sell. For instance, I can only buy $250/week out of my checking account which is just ridiculous. And I can only sell $10k per week. I don't like these limitations. If there's one that doesn't require id verification would even be better. Thought the whole idea of btc is anonymity.
So Are there any wallets better and consumer friendlier than coinbase?

If you connect your coinbase wallet with the VPN plug in it won't by pass into the wallet. Then recently fees for the transaction has been increased to 0.00089 btc for a transaction. I don't know this network fees has been changed this much high value.I suggest you to use the electrum wallet which is best in desktop wallet. |

I have been trading lately, from my experience in trading both in commodities, binary options and forex, I don't make the kind of money I do make from bitcoin, altcoins flipping. I see trading now as the best way to increase my bitcoin.
But most of them earning bitcoin and not selling out their bitcoin nowadays due to the price rise.So trading would not be good option to earn the bitcoin. You will wait and starving for each trade and need to set the trade continuously in your account. Altcoin may be the good option for you. |

Some week before, I have heard the news from the New york time says Cyber attack on financial instituation and demanding 300$ equals in bitcoin. I think this is this is happened because of the people who troll or against bitcoin. They are do these kind of things to troll down the bitcoin. I can buy bitcoins on same source where I sell it, there is a guy that sell/buy bitcoins and litecoins and he is very trustworthy. For now I only have one way transactions with him, I just send him bitcoins and he pay me directly on my bank account, when I wish yo buy it's just otherwise.
Buying/selling bitcoins on local level have advantages, he always fo that on current price with little fee and that's it, ATM's have higher fee like some online exchanges.
Are you thing there is big fees to sell out the bitcoins. Actually if you see the Google chart value and exchange you will be able to get higher about than that. Therefore fees need not to consider a big thing. I will sell either to buy back more Bitcoin, and if/when that fails, diversify my investments. If bitcoin is entering full on bubble mode the problem of with selling is that you might have to watch as it continues climbing magnitudes higher leaving you wishing you'd held, or you might be lucky and sell near the top, but its a bit of a lottery. If you want to make sure you don't get thrown off the bull too early you can hold on for dear life through all the dips and corrections until after the eventual crash (you'll know it when you see it) and then try to sell near the top of the first dead cat bounce.
In 2013 there was a heavy correction from about $750 to $450 on the way up. Even when it seems obvious... it's not. Imagine how the people who sold the bounce at $550-$600 or so must have felt after they watched the price continue on to $1000+. As it is now, all the impossible can come true. Bitcoin prices rose well above predictions and forecasts. In 2013 no one would imagine bitcoin prices could reach 2300USD. Price rates that exist today are a dream come true. But that time, price bubble fall back to the low value. I hope the bitcoin value will not slide like that. This bump should move forwards for sure as we have enough adoption source over blockchain tech and bitcoin. So holding would be best adoption for now. No need to sell out coins. |

Why you guys keep saying this is a bubble? This is not a bubble that we are seeing. If this is a bubble it should have been burst by now. The $2000 barrier has been already, I think if indeed a bubble we are seeing, we should be seeing a lot of dumping since the mental barrier price is broken. Their maybe people really buying bitcoin right now at long term investment or store of value. The chances of those investors getting big profit is really high that's why they are panic buying now. Bitcoin price raised and now touched the 2250$. It's big barrier peak value, if we look at the present value. Adoption rate is been increase to big with in this 5 months from this year starting onwards, due to this fees for the transaction has been increased gradually. Many wallet shows mining delay in the their site banner. Something is kicking me off. |
