81  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: January 26, 2013, 03:41:51 PM
I'm trying to sync my OTC account, but keep getting "Error retrieving gpg keyid."  I am sure the GPG key is correct: I have used it to log into OTC today and can manually query the server and find it.  Any suggestions?
82  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Looking for 2000 LTC loan (2200 back in 1 mon); will also consider other altcoin on: January 26, 2013, 05:20:58 AM
Hello,

I am looking for a 2000 LTC loan.  I will repay 2200 LTC after 30 days, or can negotiate other terms that the lender prefers.

I have already repaid a 10 BTC loan (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=133322.0).  At current rates, this loan would be smaller than that one in dollar/BTC terms.  See the first post of that thread for other reasons to trust me.

Funds will be used to trade LTC on the various exchanges.  My strategy will be a combination of arbitrage situations, market making, and day trading.  I have successfully traded stocks for 10+ years, so have a good idea what I am doing. Smiley  In the worst case scenario that I somehow lose all the coins, I can easily repay from my USD (or BTC) assets even if LTC were to somehow go to several dollars per coin.

I would also consider taking loans in other altcoins with similar loan terms for the same purpose.

Post or PM any questions,
Thaddeus
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DEAL LOCKED IN WITH USER 420] LTC Futures Contract on: January 26, 2013, 04:58:08 AM
So I'm to understand that 420 provided an option contract to Smoothie for the right to buy 10k LTC a year from now at $.07/ea, but I see nothing about an option premium?!

It's not an option, its a forward contract.  The purchase is mandatory.  This type of contract, while not as common as an option, is perfectly ordinary and does not always (or usually) carry a premium.
84  Economy / Lending / Re: [5 000 USD needed]People are ready to pay high to trade. Take advantage of it! on: January 26, 2013, 01:43:45 AM
Please increase the max interest limit.  99.999999% is too low Smiley
the record offer I did see was 4000%

If one tries to post an offer higher than 100%, the system returns "Invalid offer: rate tow high, maximum is 99.999999"  (note also the typo in the word too).

No grading in last few days here either.  Hopefully they return to correct things soon.

92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC Futures Contract on: January 22, 2013, 11:30:55 PM
I want a contract where I can buy 10,000 LTC at $0.07 on January 1st, 2014.

Any takers?

If you want the option to buy, then you'll have to pay for the contract up front.  (Obviously no one would give you an option for free even if they were 99% confident in their side).  If that's indeed what you had in mind, let me know and I'll work out what I think a fair price would be.

Our API fully supports not accepting an order if we have no reserves.

Using the API, is there a way to check your reserve level at ___ exchange?  There is nothing in the documentation about it, but you say it supports not accepting such orders and that isn't documented either...

Also, if the $2000/day limit in total or per transaction type (like can I send $2k to BTC-e and $2k to Bittsamp in the same day?)

Thanks,
Thaddeus

When (precisely) do you expect to have more BTC-e reserves?

You are right, you obviously know the facts about MY situation better than I do.  So clearly when you make a dumb assumption and I say it is wrong, that means I am mistaken about my own situation.  It's absolutely amazing how incredibly gifted you are...  Get real dude.

Keep kissing BTCjam's ass.  I'm sure you won't even notice the foul taste since its the same thing that already comes out of your mouth.

P.S. If you actually care to check the facts (yah right), you will see you either misread what I wrote (and "responded" to a claim I didn't make) or are flat out wrong on every point.

Then prove me wrong, show me I am wrong Please do that what you should be doing instead of whining about my ego HAHAHAHAHA. Your situation is the same as everyone else that whines about it, you loaned bitcoins to a scammer and now your mad cause you lost your bitcoins. People that just rant like that and never state facts are always wrong, and what you going to say that my lawyer is wrong OK. Dude you obviously didn't want to admit when your wrong but it is ok.

I will kiss BTCJams on the lips, I make good money from it and I am happy to loan and get good returns on my investments. They deserve praise for a great service. That will only become better with time, by there post today.

I can't prove I didn't lose money, as it is impossible to prove a negative.  However, I know it is true.  In any case it is not relevant to my comments whether I lost 10000 bitcoins or made 10000.  The only reason it is even being discussed is because you made stupid assumptions and insist they are right even though you have absolutely no way to know the real facts.

Once again, if you look at the first post I made you will see I wasn't "asking for docs", complaining about losing "lots of bitcoins", or doing any of the other shit you've imagined.  What I was actually doing was responding to someone else's complaint and telling them not to expect anything from BTCjam as they clearly won't be doing anything despite their claims to the contrary.  The only thing I have ever complained about is BTCJam's customer service, which is pathetic, and their never ending "we're working on it" claims.  Of course reading comprehension is not your strong point as you've made clear over and over again.
98  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BTCJam - Peer to Peer Bitcoin Lending on: January 19, 2013, 03:43:29 AM
And I am the clown we will break this down for the slow people in this thread...

-Allowing someone to email another user, whcih is the only thing I asked for, is not a violation of privacy under any US law.

They will have to get permission, from that person to share and it is a violation of privacy law ask a lawyer

-Under US law, sharing people's name/address/etc. is perfectly OK as well as long as the person agrees to it (when they sign up for example)

They have to get permission which they didn't and that makes it illegal act (I have a lawyer and I have asked him about this before talking out my ass which you do)

-BTCJam isn't even an American company, so our privacy laws don't apply anyway.

Actually they do have servers in the USA, and they say they are using the USA laws.

-I have emailed and PMed them 4 times regarding fixing my phone number and they never respond.  Numerous other comments have not been acknowledged.

WHY THEY GOING TO REPONSE TO SOMEONE THAT IS blasting there service and talking all this shit. What a clown you are.

-I haven't complained "so much" or at all before 2 days ago.

You been complaining you were talking shit when other people were talking shit and I prove them all wrong as well, with the facts not whiney bitchiness.

-My complaints have nothing to do with losing money, but rather the piss poor customer service BTCjam offers, and what appear to be outright lies.  It does not take 4+ months to figure out if you can make credit reports or not.  The "working on it" is a lie: they eitehr never tried or were rejected and don't want to admit it.

Your first complain was why don't they give me the docs they have, just shut up no one gives a shit about you, your annoying stupid 12yr.

6 errors in one post, impressive, even for a clueless know-it-all.

Where are my 6 errors? Cause I pretty sure I just showed how you were wrong

I glad you lost a lot of bitcoin maybe you will leave the community so people like me can move forward with out proving stupid people wrong.

You are right, you obviously know the facts about MY situation better than I do.  So clearly when you make a dumb assumption and I say it is wrong, that means I am mistaken about my own situation.  It's absolutely amazing how incredibly gifted you are...  Get real dude.

If you can't fill the order, don't take it without warning the user.  How freaking complicated can that possibly be?

Hey,

Thanks for your code suggestions and ideas, we have a system in place and always developing to make it better.

We have a rolling reserve with BTCe when it goes out, all orders are que'd and processed usually within 1-2 hours.

Most of our customers who use this with high frequency trading know how the software works, however we should make it more noticeable.

Our API fully supports not accepting an order if we have no reserves.

Were working on a redesign which will include the data, our API also rejects all orders with no reserve.

Charlie

So just make the regular website do the same check the API does and the problem is solved.  Shocked

I'm pretty sure I didn't receive the payment from this loan: https://btcjam.com/listings/1252

Also, it would be nice if there was an easy way to review past payments (instead of just future ones).
