The only wallet that I would trust on windows phone is Copay.
Actually, it's the only choice of wallet listed in Bitcoin.org (go to Mobile > Windows Phone). Anything that isn't listed there, I wouldn't trust with my money. |

Yes, actually. It's a bit too late for that, I've read the series a couple times. Good books, I have my childish side as well. The ending of the first book was decently good though, what do you have against it? Not in times when I lay I bed with the flu and 38.5 fever.

Honestly, I have nothing against mexxer-2 (except for, sorry mexxer, his childish positive ratings). He seems like a nice guy and if Blazed thinks he's trustworthy, by all means go ahead. It's Lutpin I'm slightly more skeptical about - and, IMHO, I have good reason to. I've done my research on him and from what I've seen, he seems okay but has no real background; okay, he manages the forum image of Crypto-Games (along with a few others, I think) and mods there, but from what I can tell with my light digging in, his claim to fame is that he's mexxer-2's friend and they have loaned each other a substantial amount. His recent negative feedbacks are more based on personal opinion than on proof; but again, I have a neutral stance and if Blazed thinks Lutpin is deemed trustworthy enough to be on DT then I'm fine with it. All in all, I think it's good to note that being on DT is not for people who will take their position in a non-serious approach. If you guys stay on DT (which is probable) then just realize that maybe it's time to think slowly into things. (Not saying you guys are immature; it's just a friendly remark.) TL;DR: Everything's good, it's Blazed's decision, no amount of moaning and groaning will do anything. It's time for everyone to grow up and mature, both complainers and the "victims" (for a lack of a better word). And before anyone asks, no, I'm not a sockpuppet account. I've done my research as a newbie, improbable as it seems.P.S. Artemis Fowl was a great read.  @mexxer-2 |

hated to openly accuse him of it but every time I look at someones trust page I see people getting accused of impersonating established Escrow people

With some twiddling, Bitpay will do the job perfectly for you.
Does it has any transaction fee/ merchant fee or anything of such sort ? I'm not entirely sure, but if I remember correctly, the free plan is free and the premium plan takes something like 3% of transactions. A tiny fee for a good service. |

Try to call paypal and explain the situation , if they don't believe and they leave the Chargeback as it is then there is two options :
You probably don't even know much about PayPal; using it to buy bitcoins is against their terms of service. AFAIK, the buyer had every right to chargeback (even though it's a selfish and stupid thing to do). [1][1]And sorry, but that is in essence what you are risking every time you sell bitcoins for PayPal. Although this is probably too late, always trade with a trusted partner. 1. Make a new fresh Paypal account. (I would do that)
2. Deposit the required money on the current Paypal account and get your balance back to normal . (I wouldn't do that If I were you).
I doubt he would willingly throw away a PayPal account he has been taking care of for 6 years. *Edited because I mixed up the sides. * |

I bet you would be able to send them a message about it and get it in the rotation of tasks. |

There are two mixing options:
-Mix your Bitcoins: you send what you have and get back clean coins, optional features are
multi wallet payout (up to 5) and time delay.
-Pay Anonymously: you choose the amount you need to pay to a service or someone, then send the
exact amount shown and the mixer will make the Bitcoin payment for you anonymously.
This obviously works both if you need to pay someone or if you need to get paid.
Sounds like they're the same idea in nature; someone puts coins in, and coins that aren't connected to him or her are sent to a chosen address. Is there any notable difference? Also; why should we trust you? Other mixers that have been operating for a longer time are doing the job perfectly well. |

This is practically a currency exchange, isn't it? Albeit a delayed one. If the time you need isn't that long, then I bet you could do a straight up deal with this - but only if it isn't long.

You see Lutpin. If you'd've given me a reason why the account needed a signed message instead of just recommending it. (I mean if you gave me an example), then I would have hapily acepted the idea.
In the end, you only recommended it instead of suggesting why it would be useful.
Not really much of an argument; recommending is a synonym to suggesting. |

I was first aware of it in 2009. Forgot completely. Became dimly aware again in 2011. Did nothing. Got rolling properly in mid 2013. I feverishly read up on it for a couple of weeks. Looked up Gox, thought 'this is the NASDAQ of Bitcoin? Fuck that' and went to localbitcoins.
Almost all of the 'opportunities' and businesses looked like blatant scams to me and time proved it to be correct. I've learnt vast amounts of new stuff along the way.
Similar stuff. I found out about bitcoin in 2010, decided it was a neat idea but had no potential, and went on with my life. The late 2014/2015s roll around and I find myself realizing that the price is now in the hundreds. Definitely one of the things I regret the most, but I'm still happy that I got in the game relatively quickly. |

Sorry for my newbie question. I read this topic but I can't understand how the trust system works in the marketplace section. This is what it said: The first number is the user's trust score calculated based on how consistently they've received positive feedback. Probably no one will get a score above 0 until the system has been around for at least a month. The second number is the number of reported scams. The third number increases with the number of positive reports, as does the fourth number in parenthesis, though the fourth number is more resistant to abuse. This text changes color depending on the score. Users with a negative score (attainable through scamming) get a red warning attached to their posts.
I get the second and third/fourth numbers, but how is the first number calculated? |

So 20 hours after the user buys the upgrade, you'll start losing money every single hour? (Minus the coolant purchase, but that is a minimal cost and won't affect the fact that you're losing money quick.) EDIT: Since I am still learning the basics and everything about coding and design I will be hopefully releasing this around 2017 2018  I am sorry for the longggg wait but I don't think I'll be able to do it right now. Before it comes out I will start a Kickstarter page to raise money for advertising, bitcoin buying and costly upgrades (mostly just bitcoin) Why are you planning such a project if you're still learning the basics and need 2 years to get the fundamentals to code it? No offense, but you're going to have to cross that bridge first before planning something like this. Don't count your eggs before they hatch. Also: you don't need a Kickstarter project for something like this. Posting here will be enough advertisement, I'm sure, and backup funds should be coming out of your own pocket (they won't be too much in the beginning anyways). |

Bitcoin killer ?
No. It's just a software that uses something similar to the blockchain/ledger. It it's centralized IBM or Microsoft could stop supporting it if it became uneconomical. They will only keep up development if they are making money from it. If it's like vista then I don't trust it. Just because it's from microsoft doesn't mean it's any good, I'd rather trust in Bitcoin.
Well, yes, but there's a lot of possibilities from something like this. Plus, once people see how great this idea is, they'll be drawn to use it, and maybe even check out bitcoin. Yeah I don't think this is really interesting for us bitcoiners...I don't think it will ever become a viable payment system for everyday life though.
It's pretty interesting to me as a intermediate bitcoin-er, because it's a project by a couple huge companies that use something from bitcoin. Also, it's not just a payment system to be used. |
