Market will not recover in a day, its a process that will last for days or weeks. Positive thing is that price tend to rise every autumn, some says its cause vocations are over and people start to work harder to earn money they spend all summer long, some say its cause new year is getting closer when people spend more money on everything, what ever it is its happening every year, why to not be positive about it this year too.
Last year was exception, I was here in the end of 2015, 2016 and 2017, in first two years market was much stronger in the end of the year than in the beginning, last year was exception cause price in autumn raised more then ever. I don`t think that this year will be exception, but we will have strong ending and probably we will see some spike in charts.

I think its ready, cryptocurrencies are already very popular. This fast popularity is gained cause most of the people are technology oriented, who doesn`t have a phone with internet today, we are connected all the time, I speak about myself as well about everyone else around. World needs cryptocurrencies, we need a bit more freedom from banking system and third party services.
One big thing is that we are all forced to use traditional fiat system, whether we like it or not, cryptocurrencies is our choice, its something we can choose and use how we like it!

Like always here on forum people wish something and they wish that now! Who will bother to wait platform, presentations, contracts, marketing, and so many other things. This is only the beginning probably, if they achieve everything they wrote in road map this thing can be huge, but for now its just great idea that needs a lot of work. New tokens flooded the market, its hard for every new ico to find investors that hold investment for years, and not chase fast profit. Beginnings are always hard, we need to wait alpha version, in road map its clearly stated : `Q2 2018 Pre-sale, work on the demo version of the platform` we can hope that they will deliver that platform soon and what is that all about.

He was lazy to read around the forum, he would see many similar threads and many similar answers. There is no book that can help with mastering trading, for all of us here that is something new that we didn`t try before or had any connections with trading. Its even possible to say that trading is something we saw in movies, television, just some of the people have experience in trading before bitcoin. Like everything else in trading you need to keep you head cool, if you are not able to do it there isn`t a book that can help. Practice and more practice, not with big amounts, starting with small and having fun, trying different things is available for anyone, try it and if you see that you can handle it continue with that, if you see its not for you quit and try something else, its what I can say to newbies, good luck my friends.

Big question is why people answer this newbie and his nonsense question. Do anyone need to give an answer to this guy who doesn`t know basic math? He is making a fun from all of us with such question, when you run trough this thread and you see people who gave answer you see a fool, cause nobody normal would bother to explain anything to a guy who ask such questions for the first grade. What all of us should do is to judge people who answer this question and wrote same lines over and over again without thinking.
I tried many times to point out this kind of things, but guess what, nobody cared.

Even holding has some risks, nothing is 100 % safe. Its about risking more or less, and about profit you think to make, possibilities are endless, what is your thing you need to find by trying everything you can afford.
Quick reminder that price dropped under 6,000$ and who sold at top and bought again, waited little now can sell for 8,000$. This year there were plenty opportunities for shortage, many ups and downs, its not only that you can risk with trading some pump and dump coins, you can trade with main coins, and just don`t cut loses with them, save if you made a mistake and you didn`t do trade in the right time, price will recover one day.

Only thing they believe in is profit. They don`t care about project, they just think about how to make some money and cash it out. After each bounty price of token drops soon after it hits exchanges, its a rule of a mass. Mass dump their tokens and just true believers continue to hold even when price drops, one of them is me.
I can say that I lost a lot of profit, but I don`t care, I have my tokens. I hold no matter what, for future. Good times will come for great projects that coming out now.

This situation last for years, it was same when I started years ago. That is the biggest reason why I`m not reach now, I had a lot of ethereums but cause of fud I sold all for bitcoins, since than ethereum grow much more than bitcoins. Now I only care about what I think, when I read something bad I just erase it from my mind if there is no arguments and proofs. Cryptocurrencies are in that situation like bitcoin is, its all the same for me, fudster will create fud, but I ain`t fallin on that anymore.

Depends how you mean down, in dollars or in bitcoins, cause prices are in bitcoins its normal price in dollars to go down when bitcoin goes down. But not all of them follow bitcoin, some of them rise when bitcoin going down, some altcoins have separate explorers, their own networks, you need to watch them separate
from bitcoin.
Its not the end of cryptocurrencies, its just one more thread about it, I have seen them many many in past years but instead of end crypto is growing.

He changed bitcoin with democracy and here it is, big picture with some stolen lines and he think he is so smart, next time you should be more original and not to steal other people words and presenting them like they are product of your mind.
Picture is nice, but this picture don`t represent bitcoin reality. With bitcoins we can have more regulated society, fairly regulated, with current fiat system turn around and you will see chaos, that chaos will lead to this picture.

Market is not confident in bitcoin, many people still thinks that cryptocurrencies are the bubble. Confidence comes from people who are in the game for years, and from new supporters who don`t have just profit in their eyes. I know that profit plays important role for all of us, we need to look on other side to, where we invest us, something we have and we can hope in future to have something from that.
Since I`m here price is 10 times higher, that makes me confident for the future, but I`m satisfied now. Many others seek fast profit and they are not real supporters, they are confident only in money and valuable things, they don`t care for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

You need to make a difference between crypto trading signal groups, and crypto pump and dump groups. Those are two different things, in the first one you get signals from individual or group that observes market, follow news and announcements, who have connections in crypto world and knows things before others, they analyze all info they can gather and give you a signal for something. In pump and dump groups admins with all followers manipulate with coins or tokens, that is not trading and its not honest. If you are close with people who organize all that you can make some profit, but most of the people lose, cause when you sell that worthless pumped coin you need to know that someone bought it and after pump and dump is over that coin is useless, don`t  support that kind of things.

I don`t believe that OP sold his bitcoins at peak. If he sold anything it was couple mBTC-s, not more than that. And I don`t understand the point of this topic, he sold and bought again, its trading, what he wish to do with it in speculation section? He call for recovery? I don`t understand him and point of his bragging, cause this is what it is, he brags about some trade from 6 months ago, without proofs, screenshots, just his newbie word. What a joke this is.

I started on yobit, later I change them for poloniex, now I`m everywhere. Its how things work in cryptoworld, if you are active and you wish good pair you need to change your exchange from time to time. Kucoin and Binance are my latest choices, but I never miss a chance to come back to my original exchanges, where I started. Its where I trade, if you ask me for my pairs answers is what draw my attention. I`m mid term trader and I look to invest in projects wait some time and sell when price rise, I wait for months if I have to, and some coins I have for years, I missed chance to sell in December on top now I wait next peak for them.

Explain to me how this actually works, when we can try it? I am looking at the road map, but I can`t see nothing about it.
What`s happening with alpha version, that is far more interesting, from that many things depends.

As you say both are good and I use them both. I`m active on binance since day one, but from recently I spend more time on kucoin then on binance or other exchanges, they have some good promotions, prizes, they send me mails all the time, they are very active on twitter too, there they have so many airdrops, and other things, interesting and I get something from time to time. Binance is great too, and I will not stop using them, so why to not use them both.

Special coin is token issued from exchange site. Next exchange, etherdelta, kucoin, binance, and some other decentralized exchange site have their tokens and you can invest in them like you invest in anything else. Will you trade with them or hold for a years its up to you, everyone have different strategy.
I have some exchange tokens and I hold them, fluctuations they have are not so big for day trading, but for holding I think they are great.

What is enough capital? People should invest how much they have, 10$ or 100$, maybe more if they can afford that, but that is individual thing. With investing in alts we have same story, if you have some money to spare buy some coin this month, next coin next month and build your stash of alts, there is no other and better way than that. With investing in one project you risk too much, diversify when ever you can.
How to choose good alt is different story, find what you like and find coin that support what you like, for example you like trading you can invest in binance coin, or maybe kucoin token, you like to gamble invest in some casino token.

I will hold to your words that time always change. What horse owner said when he saw car for the first time? Nobody will use this, or something similar, after decades horses didn`t disappear but who use them, who see them? In past century we have seen many changes, in my opinion its time for economy to change too. Crypto will replace fiat one day, that already started happen little by little and we are growing, in 10 or 50 years change will be complete.

It can be always green, its not profit all the time when ever you buy and what ever coin you buy. By this post I presume that op bought in december when prices were on top, later he just lost money in trying to recover cause entire market dropped, bad timing for him.
This should be a great example of what people should not do! And before everything spend more time on researching, it will worth it! If you don`t believe check what op wrote!
