Its a trap. People think that the market will easily change the trend and the transition of bear market to a bull run will easily make. I think every pump is equivalent to trap since people excites when they see a green in market. However, in my opinion, this is usual in a bearish market due to the low profits they get from the market. So, I expect a hype.
I am not sure if I am trapped. I bought some bitcoin cash at around $90. I wonder if it will go up a lot. |

of course the price matters. it matters for 90% of the people who bought their coins. if the price is stable more people are willing to convert their savings into bitcoin. which isn't the case right now.
You're right, it is also matters for those who will campaigns that will earn tokens that will convert it to bitcoin, the higher the bitcoin the large earning they will have. I think if the price of bitcoin rises, they will be paid less in bitcoin. |

So what your saying, without the metaphorical representation, is that you think eth is going to continue to tank further? It most certainly will with advice to open one's parachute haha I guess : $ 160 $ 120. It may fall further down. $ 70 resistance $70 would be a good price to buy back though. If its going to go up again up to a hundred more will sell for profit again, it will continue to go on though. A token with such price can still be considered successful project. If it drops to $60, I will buy a lot. |

u guys really think of investing in eth?? it was 10 usd 2,5 months back now it is 60 usd. i mean i not paying 6 times more for only 2.5 months.doesnt sound that logical to me. i am pretty sure there ill be a mini(or maybe a major) collapse in ETH soon enough. @tamilee i have also read a lot of nice things about gulden lately.and thinking in investing. i mean it is a dutch coin do we have to say more The price is rising too fast. But if there is good development, the price will rise further. |

Eth will keep rising as more and more devlopers come on board. This is the uber coin the next big thing after bitcoin. If your not holding a decent amount you'll be kicking yourself after this baby hits 100 usd per coin.
I will quit my day job if ever ETH hits $100 and would be happy to retire at a very young age. Does it mean you have 10,000 ETH? |

Ethereum is now working better on its way and I think in the future the investors of ethereum will increase and more traders will do trade with ethereum so we can say that the price of ethereum will increase in the coming future.
But after experiencing the past crash of ethereum it is very hard for me to once again take part in this altcoin. I have invested in a number of altcoins but in this altcoin I am investing only a minimum amount. yeah, me too. the crashes are always hard and big. and we are seeing another crash although the speed of it right now is very slow. the only reason for these crashes are the pumps and the bubbles that take form with ethereum. and right now i am waiting for the crash because of bubble burst + another hard fork. The Ethereum price is still around $12 at the moment. I do not see any big crash. it is normal price. The ETC price rose 10% in the last 24 hours. Is there any reason for the rise? I thought it is not going to hard fork. The ETC price dropped against the ETH again. It seems the short term trend is down if there is no good news. But the ETC is still alive and about 6-9% of the ETH price. |

When mine crash i turn off the PC rebooting doesn't work after 5 or 6 hours of mining .once the memory is cleared out im good for another 5 to 8 hour then another shut down clears it up maybe it's something in the memory or network a reboot doesn't clean out that a power off does. . over clocking seems to make it worse so i don't over clock or use third party software but a modded bios seems ok . third party software seems to be bad .don't need it any way for fan speed etc this miner runs stuff like were gaming not over clock very cool.
That is right. The Genoil miner is very GPU demanding although it does not use the cores very efficiently. |

Yes price of bitcoin matters like any other currency.
If you are a trader then the price may not matter but If you buy and hold, then you most likely want the price to increase.
The bitcoin price is really important because the price changing and stuff that is why people can make use of it as an investment and not only as a currency. Because of that fact people are making use of it and it is so popular. If the bitcoin price is quite stable, and rise only 3 to 5% a month, and there are no big volatily, people will use it. |

you are right. it proves that ethereum so much popular and it shows the potential of ethereum also.. I think ethereum will reach to 0.04 soon.. but these other projects linked with ethereum preventing that.. like xaur. dao, iconomi etc. it only shows that people are spamming a lot about ethereum instead of it being really popular. you can see that 90% of those topics are either created by a shill new user or it is filled with comments from shill new users that are now gaining high ranks but in fact if you check their post history you can see that they were created to only talk about ethereum from the comment number one. funny to say but yes they really are spamming. to produce hype and more hype about ETH, it maybe popular in some country but majority doesnt know about ethereum so they need to spam alot for them to reach other country and heard about their hype. and most of the trades about eth is manipulated. so yes by manipulation 0.04 is possible but as for the normal growth I doubt it. The majority of the people in the world also do not know the bitcoin. But the Etheruem is supported by more companies. |

For me its not matter, i only user who earn in some method in bitcoin and never try to invest my money in my pocket in bitcoin, i think if i have investment the price would be matter for me.
So you don't value your effort spend just to earn bitcoin, I know working and getting bitcoin is a risk free job but we need to give emphasis that this is an opportunity to earn and we need to take the time to invest for our future, we could be proud of ourselves in the future if we make fortune from bitcoin. I am proud that I stayed. There have been much lost from the past and it is hard to earn some. Buying is the only option you got. The everyday fluctuation makes you stressed out thinking it might go down again. So the price do matter. You might be rewarded a lot in the next few years if you hold the bitcoin. Of coursse it depends on the further development. |

Of course it does. If you would invest right now $1k into BTC at the $600 price and one hour later the price goes down to $20, would it matter? Of course it would.
No matter if the price drops $20 or $30 in one hour but if you have patience and belief on bitcoin then you wont panic because you know it would recover that again in no time. he's talking if the price suddenly down to $20,if you don't panic then maybe there's something wrong with your or you just don't need money anymore,this big price falling will matter so much especially if someone just need money in urgent but their money still not yet exchanged into local fiat Just thinking about it is stressful enough. Look, miners need to pay something specially the electricity. If bitcoin mining cant provide me that, then there will be a lot of white flags that will come out. It will get exhausting again to start at a lower price. I think most smaller miners are not mining the bitcoin any more. They are mining the altcoin at the moment. |

I speculate that ETH will have to go down sooner or later. No one is interested to buy at these prices right now. Everyone is waiting for it to go down. So it is good to save your money and wait.
I know somebody is accumulating the ETH at the moment, otherwise, the price will be below $0.1 by now. The ETH price is around $12 now. It has risen about 20% in the last few days. It means the big whales are not out yet. It is quite strange the Ethereum price is very stable at the moment. According to certain prediction, it should be $0.1 now. Ethereum still has very strong community support. If you look at the hashing rate, it is still increasing. That is right. The hashing rate is increasing quite fast at the moment. If it rises another 50%, some high cost miners will not be profitable. |

I invest some fiat into the mining equipment, then save 90% of the mined coins and use 10% of the mined coins.

If I answer you no then I'll be lying. Even though my hope is for us to see 1 btc equivalent to 1 btc some day with the price of fiat mean nothing to us, the current movement of the price still gives us the indication in how well accepted btc is and its demand. I do agree with your reasoning but until the I will still closely follow the btc price movement.
The Bitcoin price is super important because that is hat is attracting most people whether they should buy or sell their coins. The price and the fact the you can use it as an investment is what is making Bitcoin so popular. I think so. It is better for the bitcoin price to rise slowly, say 3 to 5% per month, than to rise fast and drop fast. |
