541  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: May 14, 2018, 09:49:09 AM
The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

And I would tell you that it depends on a coin that you are holding..
I am a bounty hunter so every altcoins that I am holding since last year were all earned through participating signature and other types of bounty campaigns but I choose to hold them no matter how the pumping and dumping is going on along the way whether the crypto market is in crisis or recovering.
What I know that is my crypto assets were increasing in price value and it's because I am holding.
When you dump your coins too soon, you'll never have  the chance to earn more and higher.
Lets understand OPs position since i can feel that he was only bitter for not having any coin in his position, thats why he was bullying holders to sell their token and be like him that has nothing .

Sorry OP we will hold whatever you say, this will be our goal to wait our profit when the right time comes, and you dont have any rights to tell us what to do,after all this is our coins
542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: market analysis or fortune capital ... !! ?? on: May 13, 2018, 10:20:45 AM
why every trading I always lose. his coin's endurance for weeks went down, when I sold it, the price went up.

The reason why you always lose is because you broke the basic principle in trading and that is to buy low and sell high. Eventually what you did was to  buy high and sell low. That is the reason why you are losing in trading. So just be patient and keep in mind that bitcoins value is volatile and it goes up and down.
And another thing is OP is weak handed trader,he can't resists selling when he saw somethings changing down..

The most popular and weapon of every investor is 'Patience ' and OP is lack of this thats why whatever part of profiteering he enters here, all he can achieve is failure because of this kind of attitude
543  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people think everyone is a scam? on: May 13, 2018, 10:13:11 AM
You can't blame people for this. In fact, I would actually advise anyone to assume that every opportunity is untrue until vetted by themselves. There's also a lot of wisdom to that all-too-familiar phrase "if it's too good to be true..."

Anyway, I'm responding to say you shouldn't take it personally. We all started out with difficulties, but the thing to learn is patience and openness. From the beginning, be fully transparent and clear about communicating your message.

If you say you have a trusted escrow, then name the escrow and let the person vouch for you. If you're saying vetted buyer, then present the details for the public to vet.

Question all your own offers first, find the weaknesses, before making it public. Good luck.
Yups since 50-90 percent of transactions or work in here are scams,we cant blame people around here thinking that nothing is true until things happens.

I am a victim of scam ico, scam project and scam transaction wayback but now,im more than serious about all of this thats why im particular assuring everythings true before dealing
544  Economy / Services / Re: LOOKING FOR REPUTABLE ESCROW on: May 13, 2018, 06:36:52 AM

545  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment in Bitcoin vs Investment in Education? on: May 13, 2018, 06:30:30 AM
What seems to be a problem about education and cryptocurrency?i cant find reason why we needed to choose between this two when we can do it together at the same time,i have read some articles here that theres more students or teenagers that in this community, some of them are brining their own to school because of profit they get from trading or signature campaign participation..

Now whats the reason for choosing?or you just making this things an issue when the truth is not?

Looks like Bitcoin is working: The people whose empires depend on Bitcoin not going up, are scared and have to show up national television to trash it.

This is a good indicator to start looking for an entry point if you haven't already. Noobs will get shaken out of the market with fake news like these, and smart money will jump in when the opportunity is right (that's once all the noobs have sold and there's only hodlers).

Remember: Bitcoin IS working. 21 million coins, unhackable, uncensorable, unconfiscable. What anyone says on any TV or website is irrelevant, only these fundamentals matter.
Youre right here mate, this Fud's will make the market shake and will bring down prices for a good investors this is what we've waiting for since bull market is need to happen.i am quite sure that i can add some coins on mine and will have another funds on my folio.

For those weak hands this will bring you another scary moment, but for us this is a blessings
547  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin going to hit 5000 USD ? on: May 12, 2018, 04:13:48 AM
I'm afraid this gap it will last a few more weeks so the bottom will be at aproximative 5000 usd ... what do you think will it reach or 8000 is already the bottom line??

Bitcoin will never go down that level because thats too low for what is expected and imagine how huge the last record bitcoin reached, just to go down again to that level im afraid it would happen

As of todays price of $8,400 after the fud and fake news days ago, will sure wont last long, because the stronghold on $8,000 has been indeed for how many weeks now so that only means one thing were ready to ride the train again
548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I currently have 5 ETH. I should buy an ICO on: May 12, 2018, 04:04:53 AM
To find an ICO suitable for you, use the rating sites and listings of new projects, where you can choose the most suitable projects.
Care ro shate some links regarding ratings and listing sites mate?those reliable and you have been used for assurances

I have so much doubt of ico this days not like in the past when you can surely earn and generate income, but todays as more like scammers are on the seen, its so few that you can trust and invest money.

For me i would rather invest in long term that ethereum than risking to ico that 90% or more are scams
549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens with my crypto when I die? on: May 12, 2018, 03:52:38 AM
Silly question right? Smiley
Unless there is a backup method or heritage system it obviously vanishes for eternity, but the point was to discover methods that you are aware for avoiding such risks.

Well, it's not a risk, it's a certainty, but there are other risks of losing access to the crypto account aswell.
Some like:
* death... obviously
* house burns down along with hard wallet
* one can accidently loose his cold storage or hard wallet
* maybe other you figure out and I add them

So, what storage do you use to ensure your savings, or what do you think would be the best solution to overcome these risks?

UPDATE: I started this discusion because I can't see a decentralized solution for that, most of the centralized ones are largely known (wills at layers, online wallets and so on) but do not meet the security criteria as still imply a trusted party. Better simply handover the private key directly to the inheritant IMO.

What I want to determine is if it IS realy a concern for the comunity or not, and if yes than we can contribute all together to the creation of a such product. But again I realy do think it should be built decentralized and trustless.
I am very professional regarding my funds in this crypto community, thats why i make sure that every single details of those are accounted, secured and assured to be distributed incase of emergency and importantly when times of death, thats why my addresses and passwords are written in physical paper that attached in all my important papers that has been introduced to my son and wife,so incase of those situations i am sure my funds will be on right hand and those are my family

552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: thinking quiting after lose on gambling. on: May 07, 2018, 03:01:26 PM
do you experience that after losing on gambling that you thinking you will quit gambling for good and never come again to gambling but then next day you are already positive  that you could win in gambling?

that happen to me a lot when i lose in gambling but a could never leave gambling. Cheesy
Made me smile because this happens to me most of the times, and maybe this is a normal thing for us to prove that were not quitters, that even if we lose we wil able to return and finish business..

Thos happens mostly when we run out of money and dont have any amount to bet,so what we do is go home and just hate yourself because of being losers, but on the next day that you able to find another money to play, you will run to casino or some gambling places and play again as if you were not lose last night lol 😂
553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: May 07, 2018, 02:51:06 PM
Guys, I know that many of you have already discussed this issue regarding quitting gambling as it is addictive, and I know that this thread is just like any other one. But forgive me because I am really sick of seeing people committing suicide because they are in big debts. I would like to speak my mind.
I have heard news related to this, yes, many people not only got suicide some of them get violent when they are lost big in gambling.
Here our country there is a casino which is attack by addict gambler after he got lost everything he went home and back bringing a deadly weapon. Sad to say but he is a police officer.

Forgive me if I drop here a link just to share.

While early avoids this kind of addiction to gambling. Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

This one sad story about gambling, things that must be addressed since many of the victims are once a good person that turns to evil whe becomes addicted..when i was young i used to be a gambling addict that most of our local games is i know how to play and bet.but not until i turn college that i found a group of friends that is not engaged into this vices, what happens is in Gods will i forgot about the addiction and turns to be a good person.

I believe that what can be done to be a gamblers quit, they must have a circle of people that is don't engaged to gambling and will give them diversions to find another things to enjoy and earn but not to gamble

556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can the Most Powerful Computer on Earth Hack Bitcoin? on: May 06, 2018, 06:23:27 AM
Let me avoid the technical aspects to make things easy for all readers.

So someone said that America's NSA has this great computer(quantum computer) that could easily hack Bitcoin private keys. I really doubt his claim but I know for sure that certain computers  like the most powerful Super Computers are within the reach of some of this Intelligence organizations.
Do you think such computers can crack any security codes put in place to make Bitcoin very secure?
So where did you get this crap?you reached being senior member but still buying this type of issue?and dare to shate some links about "whos that some that says NSA can easily hack private keys?

If that so do you think we can go this far?if they can easily hack us so why not took them so long ,why not yesterday or today.stop this mate its non reliable
557  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't be fooled. on: May 06, 2018, 06:11:44 AM
Hi, I want to warn you that now on this market has come a lot of bad people, they just beg you for money for nothing, hiding behind the blockchain, but they are not competitive and in most cases are not even going to compete with other companies. Many of the ideas are stolen from other projects.
The result, they have business, and you have illiquid tokens. Your funds have decreased several times.
But you can not make a claim to the founders of the projects, because they do not hide ) it is an open Scam.

Better that you have putted some example of what you calls fooling, maybe some links that we can use as materials for checking, youre advice has nothing to be exact s if what are those.if they are ico projects or just some individuals that using PM or something, sometimes lets be specific if we really wanted to help others though i am sure that its for goodness that you made this threas
558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple vs Ethereum on: May 06, 2018, 04:53:33 AM
im not an altcoin guy but im suddenly interested , as i can see on coinmarketcap there is ripple just after bitcoin then after it litecoin and ethereum , still isee a lotof people speaking about ethereum more then they do about ripple i just checked the website on ethereum and for some reasons i didn't understand anything , can't even find an executable file to download and if it's on beta will people lose their ether later (that's if they are storing them anywhere)
After almost three years, well your question is greatly answered than even how hard ripple do,it's impossible for this coin to beat ethereum because being ripple a coins of bankers future will never come to its way to outrun ethereum.because banks arnot compliants for crypto users thats why we transferred here from bankings.
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Making crypto succeed in the real world? on: May 05, 2018, 03:38:32 AM
The crypto market will definitely develop. There is probably almost no doubt about it. Even those who used to consider bitcoin and any other coin as "bubble" understand that they simply have no arguments for such claims. Demand for digital coins is growing, and the law of supply and demand has not been canceled.
With thousands or even hundred thousands of coins in crypto,i dont think the supply wasnt enough to sustain the demand even half of people in the world uses crypto.

And crypto will successfully pass the world in the near future,as the users continue to grow, and the technology continue to upgrading
560  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversify Investments on: May 05, 2018, 03:20:13 AM
Usually they recommend you to diversify your investment, so you avoid losses.

But as a real approach, having $1.5k, would you invest in how many cryptocurrencies ?

What if I invest little by little, only in Bitcoin, would that work as well ?
What do you mean by "invest little by litt in bitcoin?it wasnt diversifying,or what do you mean you will wait for every dip then you'll buy another?i guess if you want invest in top coins in which sure profit for long term, why not invest in all top four coins.divide the capital into four or put the 60% in ethereum and bitcoin and the 40% for the next 3-4 so the more coins on folio is the more chances of gaining
