Should S2 be profitable again?
Or did the difficulty increase basically increase with the BTC value at the same rate;we're at $241 right now and still 108% maint fee
Glad the value is going back up at least.

I don't think so. It's obsolete technology, they will shut them down in near future. Bitcoin have to pass 300$ quickly or they will be trash/junk/collectors item.

They are already shut down.  You cannot buy S2 or UMISOO on the market and they are currently in their redemption period.  They will not be coming back onto Hashnest.

Well S2 and Umisoo are obsolete miners, shutting them down was just a question of time.
However, I don't see Hashnest total hash go down due to this shut down. How come?
im guessing they turn them off when they enter pps  mode and just used the room for more efficient miners, and just payed the pps  shares out of there  own act .  s3 s4  will prob follow the same process.
563  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: cloud mining on: September 06, 2015, 09:08:07 AM
if u must   , go with hashnest.  u gotta know when to buy em and when not to.  just jumping in the market thinking ur gonna roll is a recipe for diasaster . its actually  a shitty time to mine  right now.

i want to get into cloud mining, but dont know how to get out when the time is right.
thats a crazy question since no one truly knows.   btc price and future estimate , diff  estimates and forecast of mining gear, thats all i got for ya.

I want to sign up for first time at https://www.bitmaintech.com/product.htm and  I can not .It give me this message:
"We're sorry, but something went wrong.
If you are the application owner check the logs for more information."
I tried at all relative sites of bitmain and i 'v got the same message. I deleted all cookies/cache the problem remain.
Please help me
make an act  thr  hashnest  site, and on the bottom page under products click antminer,  if ur log in to hashnest  when u click on login it auto logs in to bitmain tech, the sites are interlinked.  if ur buying hash  for cloud mining u would buy it on the market/shop at hash nest.(do the math to figure out which is cheaper, i see people still buying shop when market is way cheaper). i dont do home miner anymore so i cant help u with that. thats all i got for ya, hope that helps.

i dont no why they didnt send a message for umisoo either.  its been a couple days in already.  guess they want to  watch some novices freak out. their starting to figure it out tho , price is declining daily.
570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: August 21, 2015, 09:08:35 PM
all this hype about the pacmic , everyone forgot about the cheap s5's.   also it looks like umisoo will  die this time. dont no why they are still buying this high.
571  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest 's newest PACMiC Cloud Mining Contract on: August 20, 2015, 11:13:43 PM
so whats with the maintenance to pps %
Does that mean if it has 85% means that 85% is used toward maintenance?

Humm

are u lord icon i see u at there chat haha ,  at any rate,    pps  means they pay u once a day one large sum.( umisoo, s2)
ppls ( the rest of the gear)  pays and charges fees block to block.  the longer the block takes the more it eats up ur block profit and yes it can be negative . fast blocks mean more for sats for us.  so yes pps 85 percent means it charges 85 percent fee,  and ppls mode  is just the overall maintee fee  avergage out.
572  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hashnest 's newest PACMiC Cloud Mining Contract on: August 20, 2015, 08:30:57 PM
Got a question, might had been answered already but if we buy on the market say an S5 or something for x amount of gh/s do we keep that until we sell it or becomes unprofitable, its not a contract is it? Not talking about the Pacmic contracts ..

Thanks

yes buying at market  when the order gets executed  it will appear in ur act . shop will take 3 days.  reguarding the market , yes u can buy it   and sell it as u please. when it becomes unprofitable  u can pay  for shipping and they will send u a machine for every 1155 ghs u have  of s5, it will be a different amt for other machines.

574  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: NEW: Hashnest PACMiC V3 - 0.666 BTC/THS on: August 16, 2015, 02:47:01 AM
Is it just me, or is this just a fancy way for Bitmain to get a loan to purchase their own hardware?
pretty much, and on top of that  the same folks will be buying the new hardware.   its all good as long as they dont get too greedy . gotta feed the cows once and a while.
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin is officially dead on: August 11, 2015, 09:12:54 AM
lite coin will never die as long as btc is here.  it will always be use mainly for speculation, not much else. thats all it needs tho.
576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How good is trezzor wallet on: August 09, 2015, 11:30:38 PM
they should drop it to 50 bucks, they would sell so much more, i would definitely buy one  over any other device at that price. seems like there just a bunch of tech savy guys that didnt hire a marketing dude.  i really do want one tho, not at this price when i have way cheaper options.
577  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: August 09, 2015, 11:23:01 PM
I like Hashnest for day trading and ignore ROI, focusing on daily yield and price trends. Nowhere else can you find the range of mining contracts offered for trading. Right now UMISOO price is down (buying opportunity!) but as bitcoin price slowly rises (my bet) daily profits from trading UMISOO will be very nice.

Looking at the internal Hashnest charts today I will be trading S4 tomorrow: price is in a clear uptrend and daily mining profits are higher than UMISOO. As bitcoin price increases action will move back to UMISOO.

For those who like to speculate buying UMISOO right now can reward you with excellent profits as bitcoin price rises, if you think the bottom is in for the time being.

I agree day trading or at least buying and selling on highs and lows every few days is the only solid way to make money on hashnest. I made a few bitcoin doing it just have to be smart and get a little luck.
yup, daytrading is where its at, the mining is just an added bonus.  eventually hashnest will focus more on the day trading aspect, the money will be to great to pass up as it will bring in bigger players. they will be indirectly force into it, cause if they wont  do it someone else will
578  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Controversial Backpage.com Warmly Welcomes Bitcoin on: July 14, 2015, 10:43:15 PM
this is a big deal going forward, it  proves the banks and cc companys   is merely one of the options avialiable, it is not necessary  .

I have a question.
I'm sorry if this have been discussed already but I don't have time to read all the pages of this thread.
Can please somebody explain how the market orders on the hashnest market are executed?
I ask this because I have sell orders for 0.001388 for S5 Gh and on the history I see that in the last hours the high was 0.00139879 and 0.0014. When it reached 0.00139879 I was on the computer but my orders didn't get executed. Why is that?
i was on for the pass 16 hrs , i dont remember it  geting past 1384 , b4 that i was still sleeping so i dont know how the market went. i wouldnt trust those graph. this is not a high profie trading arena.

I saw the trade at 0.00139879 and I checked in the history too so I'm not speaking about graph at that trade.
Very unusual, but I don't think you will get the answer here.  It just didn't fill for whatever reason.

Quantities might have not matched up? Either way, you're looking at a very low-volume market place which can lead to anomalies like that.
yea i think thats what happened, sometimes when people unload to wipe the screen , it  usually triggers, but rarely it doesnt . shits buggy, at the very least u played it right and had good price pts. they will eventually fix it, there not lazy about upgrades.
