I am still confused.

On the thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149229.0
It say that they are unloaded.

But on the webpage does it say that they are loaded?
Can anybody confirm if they are loaded or not?
2nd series should be loaded, as you get also private key , 1st series are not.

The above is correct.  2nd Series normally is funded.

It may be possible to get the 2nd Series as Unfunded.  Ask the creator, Arash on his site to mark them as Buyer Funded.  I have a set of 3 like that given as a gift.  Beautiful coins.

I didnt know you could get the second series unfunded ! Must resist ...
1044  Economy / Auctions / Re: Casascius 0.5 BTC Silver Series-2 physical bitcoin: NO RESERVE, 30-DAY AUCTION on: March 25, 2015, 03:08:34 PM
--snip
This auction will add some more data to my "price of casascius coins in btc is unaffected by usd/btc rate" theory... one way or another.
--snip

Casascius coins (as goods) are really in front when it comes to separation from fiat.
BTC goes up and down all year around - but it does not significantly affect the price of Casascius coins in terms of BTC.
I love it <3

Honestly Casascius coins were selling for the highest markup when BTC was between 700.00 - ATH. It almost seems like the higher the prices go for BTC the better the prices on these coins.

You'll see the sucker premium steadily decrease over time. Remember when someone bought a 2011 error for 50 btc?

It was unique though ... graded 67 (only error to get 67 so far), and it was a first day coin to boot. But yep, I would sooner have 50 BTC than that coin .... well, I'd sooner have both
1045  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 50 x 2014 Series 2 0.01 Microsoul coin. Crowd funding for Treasure Coin on: March 24, 2015, 12:53:13 PM
Sweet new hologram! But $30 for is a little high for my taste since I most likely won't be able to take part in the treasure hunt Sad

Screw it... I still take 2. Smiley

 Grin

You always crack eventually !!
1046  Economy / Auctions / Re: Casascius 0.5 BTC Silver Series-2 physical bitcoin: NO RESERVE, 30-DAY AUCTION on: March 23, 2015, 03:21:53 PM
Gosh ! Really a good price ... Shocked

Will most likely go to 2 digits price before the auction is over Wink

Definitely, the last 3 I sold, all went double digits
1047  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius 10BTC Silver Round /w Gold B on: March 21, 2015, 01:13:32 PM
Well who ever has it needs to sell it to me..So far there is 4 total Casascius Silvers with MS-68..

3 x Silver + Gold singles
1 x .1 silver

Are all of those singles gold-b ?

Yes that are all Silver + Golds.  I wish I also had an all silver MS68 too.

Any idea who has the 3 gold and silver 68s ?

I now have the silver 0.1 68, but it's looking for a big brother 😊

Yep mine hit the mat today as well. Looks great
1049  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2015 Kialara Labyrinth: Production Update on: March 12, 2015, 12:36:18 PM
It must be possible to disassemble without ruining it like that. A small drill press and grip with leather for protection around the frame you could drill out the screws using a very small drill bit, rewind the screw and lift the case off. Check the key, replace with screws and drill out the head.

Video ?  Grin
1050  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 2015 Kialara Labyrinth: Production Update on: March 12, 2015, 08:19:14 AM
Thank you Max!
Great video, I believe it is safe to say that Kialara is "tamper evident".

I cant see there being a market for 'redeemed kialaras' somehow .... although I guess they will be quite rare .... !

I am also guessing that the security may also prevent many people loading these up with BTC (should they be getting a satoshi just to get them on the chain ?)

Hoping my v2 arrives today ....

Any more news ?
1052  Economy / Collectibles / Re: How much is a Casascius 5 BTC coin worth these days? HELP! on: March 06, 2015, 09:40:21 AM
Just look at the post from BlazedOut, he knows this market, and he gave sound advice

7 - 7.5 BTC is a ballpark cost for a series 2 5BTC coin, fully funded with 5 BTC. Plus or minus depending on condition and grading.

If its series 1, then add a little on as well

Redeemed coins, or the DIY coins that were never funded $100 is the right area, probably just a bit less (I have a bag if anyone wants any of the blank 5's)

1053  Economy / Collectibles / Re: New Physical Bitcoin - New Concept on: March 03, 2015, 11:00:27 AM
Buying....

After getting in early and getting the original PBC coins (way way back when), then all the Microsouls, I will grab an early one of these too. Love the new design, and interesting concept both for the coin itself, and the hunt (was that you I saw digging in my back garden ?  Grin)

Agree with the bad taste after coinographic,  but I have dealt with Gravitate for a while now. I dont believe it is the same. I am happy preordering in this instance. I have seen some of the issues Gravitate has had with some of the earlier runs, and he has always worked through the issues to satisfactory conclusion and full delivery. If he were a new kid on the block .... I would have reservations

Interested to hear about the other coin

I'm the same as Halo, I would be up for an early bird coin via kick starter. Make sure if thats the way you go, you give us a warning on here !!

Unsure if you can limit folks to only getting a couple each so that the first on doesnt get all 20 ? (and then make a packet on the resale)

I'll have to check that with Kickstarter.

Ta

Has anyone ever redeemed a Coinographic coin ? Was everything in order with the private key ?
1057  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: February 20, 2015, 09:04:23 PM
I have finalized and paid for the order.  I'm hoping to have coins in the mail to you before the end of April.  Thanks to everyone who pre-ordered to help support this project!

Great news !
1058  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Calling you forth, Coinographic on: February 16, 2015, 09:15:30 PM
Quality of coins was high, but so was the price. The revenue generated here must have been significant

Everyone has assumed that after a certain point, new orders were effectively paying for previous orders fulfillment. But I am not even sure of that now. It's starting to look like initial order fulfillment was to get positive feedback and as such a greater number of orders

I am not clear at what point orders stopped being met, but new orders were still being accepted, but not delivered. Ie how much funds were then gathered, effectively without any costs incurred. In theory that's what's been cleared ...

Yes the liabilities may well exceed the assets but Coinographic should still have those funds, plus the left over stock. This should be the amount that should now be distributed between all those still owed

I don't know where those pre-order funds went to, and why they aren't still available. Saying there is no payout, not even a penny in the pound is not a tenable position. Coinographic don't think for a second that your statement closes this

1059  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Calling you forth, Coinographic on: February 16, 2015, 02:11:49 PM
Anyone had anything back yet ? I havent, but I missed the batch that would get a response in 48 hours

Saigonsmokes - you seem to be speaking with Coinographic ? Have you heard anything ?

For all the bitcoiners, its seems the Litecoin guys are in the same boat
https://litecointalk.org/index.php?topic=20417.255

his details are pretty easy to find online.

Yep, they are. Domain registration and company registration details give all needed

I am thinking that without update from coinographic, there will soon need to be a collective understanding as to what is owed, from both here and Litecointalk, noone really knows just how big this is, they just know their own loss.
1060  Economy / Collectibles / Re: WTB Casascius ERROR coin on: February 09, 2015, 08:22:33 PM
Yep purely funding in 2012. Have a look at uberbills. Go to casascius, 1 btc, series 1. Then you can look at all the s1 finding dates.
