For the Platinum Coin we will be looking around 400-470 I was expecting them to be cheaper but thats it I am afraid. Gold would be pretty much the same price. There is only 4 USD difference in price.
So please can you confirm your orders? They will be 0.1 BTC So If thats the case we can make them slightly cheaper (around 400) But thats as cheap as it can be and thats if no other costs come up. So please consider 450 as worse case scenario and I will try get cheaper if possible.
If you confirm you want them now then closer to the time I will take deposits if that is Ok when I confirm the price.
Anyone any comments about this? Is the price too high? If so I might have to rethink. I could do a 1/8th but it would have no holo on. Regards, Matthew Theres no point doing a coin without a holo. Needs to be a wallet. I would take 1 of these

Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Grading Coins - A Few Basic Questions.

I dont think the rate that cryptocurrencies fluctuate affects whether or not other grading companies will grade these coins. What do they care of the value of the coins ? They are just grading the condition of them. Value to them should be irrelevant, and would not affect the grade a coin recieves.
I agree, its more likley to be a failure to recognise them as legitimate currencies, and a nervousness of association because of some of the knee-jerk negative press that can often be associated with cryptocurrencies (no one has ever used cash to buy drugs or guns, or demanded a cash ransom, if you listen to them ....). Possibly even a degree of snobbery on their part.
On the big scale of things, the population numbers of the crypto coins is dwarved by the mainstream coin market. They clearly dont feel it represents a big enough opportunity for them commercially to pull their heads out of their narrow minded arses ...

Can someone please chime in here and let me know if it's okay to close the auction and accept the buy it now price without upsetting anyone? I've never seen a buy it now price on an auction on bitcointalk, but I don't follow these often. So unless anyone has a valid reason that i must keep the auction open, I'm closing as I have a buyer @ 7.7 btc at stated in the terms.
Your auction .... your rules ? Generally these things are left well alone, and arent interfered with by the mods. Certainly on the physical crypto auctions, I have been party to. If any bidding commences @ 7btc, the buy-it-now option is off the table.
Highest offer you had was 6 ... so the 7.7 BIN was still in play. It seems to me that its all above board, noone appears to have grounds to object based on anything posted publicly. Good work fella.

What made you go the vanity address route, because they'll be super expensive and "exclusive"? I don't get what "Natty" even means, but for some reason my mind seems to associate it with negative things (looks close to not or nitty?) I get it that Casascius, Lealana, etc are all made up names but they seem to flow off the tongue more easily.
natty1/ˈnati/ adjective (of a person or an article of clothing) smart and fashionable. natty2/ˈnati/ adjective (among Rastafarians) denoting hair that is uncombed or matted, as in dreadlocks. My money is on the first ?

I think number 5 spot was reserved for monkeynuts??
and #1 or #2 was supposed to be for bitenvy??
Gravitate can clarify.
Thanks
Yes I believe that as well. Not quite sure how I started on #5s with G's coins .... but its sticky So the #9's are fair game for someone else

Sounds like it would be a lovely and unique coin .... but I dont reckon LTC is the way to go. Why not go the bitcoin route but keep the platinum ? It would be more likely to be popular perhaps
It took Ognasty a long time to get the gold coins sold, and I am not sure that there were 10 unique buyers. Og is a long standing maker of coins, and has started with smaller coins, and built up reputation and trust, steadily getting bigger and more expensive coins. Going for a high end coin as a first offering is a brave move, but I wish you luck
