1144  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius Bearer Bars - Protective Airtite Case ? on: August 08, 2014, 09:48:47 PM
Well, not the type of case people are searching for; however, I currently have my bars in these until something better comes along....

Nimbus Frame
http://www.lindner-usa.com/pg5_englisch/sonstige-sammelgebiete/nimbus-frames.html

Many diff sizes avail.  Not my site.
I will post pics of a bar or two or coins in them if requested.

Nice. Thats the best I have seen so far. Would love to see a pic of a bar in one, and then know the size that was bought.

Otoh - if you find anything better would love to hear

Anyone know if its possible to get a custom size airtite made ? Surely there are enough of us with bars to make it economical ? I would be down for 10 straight away. I would go in with someone if there are upfront costs to make it work, equally would gladly get bulk, and resell on here for a small margin

If I can get the right case, I will post some pics, as I have a few very special bars that I am sure folks would like to see
1145  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SELLING] Rare Casascius Bitcoin Bar Originally Unloaded on: August 07, 2014, 09:42:59 PM
Out of interest, who sold you the bar at £3500

They should be named and shamed ....

Time up ?

We agreed to an "staged payment", since the buyer does not have any connection to the WoT of Bitcoin-otc and I don't know (and don't trust) any trusted escrow provider in here.

From what I remember, these were one of the first physical bitcoin's on the market? I can't recall seeing any of these for sale recently.

Yep, I have been looking for one of these for a while now. Happy to have landed one.
1153  Economy / Auctions / Re: bitbill 1BTC v0.07 on: August 01, 2014, 10:32:14 PM
Well it wouldnt be an auction without the man with more alias's than a CIA agent chancing his arm ....

When will the Mods do something about this ?

New user name creation should need to have more 'uniqueness' to prevent similar names being created purely for the purpose of ripping folks off

Time up ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709463.0

Unfortunately the auction is up, was hoping for significantly more for it than then winning bid buts thats my prob as there was no reserve price Sad

Total due : 1.5BTC

Payment address :

After payment message me the transaction I.D and your address.

Will you just fuck off and die

The repeated scam attempts using slightly changed usernames for every fucking auction are now just plain boring

Do something useful, somewhere else, instead. Sooner or later, you are gonna trip yourself up, and reveal who you are. Quit while you are ahead.

1156  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS]Casascius Coins 0.1 and 0.5 Silver on: July 29, 2014, 10:45:48 AM
Exactly. I've seen them sell for BTC1 since they are the rarest sub-10 btc Casascius coins. There are only 804 coins active as you can see here: http://casascius.uberbills.com/

The Casascius Silver 0.5 BTC with Series-2 hologram is the rarest sub-500 BTC casascius coin - only 45 made.

Any one wants one .... let me know !!
1157  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 0.5 BTC Casascius Brass coins on: July 15, 2014, 08:07:21 AM
Second buy from Nexus6 has just landed. Again nice and easy. Wish there were more like you

Thanks again. Good luck with the rest of the coins
1158  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] Casascius, Lealana and others. UK Seller will post worldwide on: July 15, 2014, 08:00:42 AM
Closing the thread down. Most of these are sold.

Sending a batch off for grading, and will repost the coins that will be available when they are returned
1159  Economy / Collectibles / Casascius Bearer Bars - Protective Airtite Case ? on: July 14, 2014, 10:06:34 PM
Does anyone know if there are any airtite cases that fit the casascius bearer bars ?

I have had a quick look, and I dont think they line up with standard size bullion bars, and their airtites.

So I would be very interested to see if anyone else has had any more luck

Thanks !
