Whats next? Well i think it's the bull market thats next. My opinion is that this is all part of a cycle that repeats infinitely while at the same time giving us higher lows every time. So many people still don't know about crypto and it's potential to change the financial world and when mass adoption increases we are surely in for more bull-bear market cycles. It will still takes time to achieve this state but we can surely see that adoption is still on the move.We've been experience bearish market for years and talking about on what comes next wont really be easily be answered but we can presume that there would always be a bull run but we dont know yet on when it would happen.We do already experience it on the past but doesnt mean that we would able to experience it easily on next years to come.There would always be a correction and price or value would always vary on the demand itself. As we are in a roller coaster scheme, ups and downs are common things to happen but this is the reason why we become profitable. We can't expect great days for crypto yet, the downfall still at high than of uptrend motion but we would likely keep calm and accept what it happens today cause we are not the one holding it. In fact most of the countries are already regulated the use of Bitcoin but it seems that their existing regulations are weak as the scammers are able to continue to penetrate and used Bitcoin to steal from the people. Well, I don't feel safeguard of our investment even we are regulated by the government. I know this is not the reason why they pursue to regulate crypto, I have to think that is meanly because they wanted all crypto holders are subject to pay taxes. I therefore not to agree this one and rather to stay decentralized form of market.
Having such freedom is greatly we have to experience even we face a huge risk in the market. The support of the government is just enough rathet than to think of regulating us.

Your experience was a little bit lower than most of us who experienced the slowest confirmation of all time (probably) by the end of 2017. IIRC, my longest transaction was nearly a week before it got confirmed.
Others doesn't get the idea of OP has, he's asking about if its possible that bitcoin could be upgraded with the same speed as XRP. But honestly speaking, the confirmation time right now isn't taking any longer. Around 3-7 minutes, most of my transactions were confirmed.
Waiting for a week is a little bit worrying mate for sure, it sometime we could think of being hack as what it happens to me before when I withdraw it coming from HITBTC. It sometimes we might think of its high fees compared to the other coins and even ETH it also have low fees. I don't know what makes especial with BTC, instead, they should have to lower the transactions fees since a lot of people are using this. But what XRP did is almost instant which some traders are converting their BTC into XRP cause of transaction fees and also its fast confirmation. How I supposed to see it happen also with BTC and possible to all cryptocurrency, maybe it is just fair. |

You can only make so many gains trading before you will end up losing. There isn't any exchange which you can make unlimited trades. They only have so much Fiat available to play with. In terms of exponential, well that's just completely unrealistic dot-dot-dot because you can expect to always profit, let alone make exponential gains.
It is acceptable how it wasn't easy but people had never lost their hopes towards crypto brag them to do trading and never quits. It sounds unrealistic to think of making exponential gains but it (can) be possible if we are the bullish season and of course, if we have in the right choice of coin. Inasmuch as shitcoins are still bring lunched, such occurrence is inevitable. A project that is unable to make adequate provision for its coin to increase in value, has every possibility of it being devalued and for it not to be traded at all, because no one wants to risk his money on it.
That is really disappointing in the part of low investors who put their money in no value coin and earn nothing. What it make this thing so difficult cause we can't make our money back bit rather to consider this a lost at all. For the reason that it become devalued because this projects are just a scam, they are run by greedy people who are just be concerning of their own pocket. The crypto market for a period seemed to be on a bear market,and for some reason much later prices started increasing again.What can be said about the market at this period,are we on a bull or bear?
I would call it as a bear market since the price was starting to reduce to unexpected $7k range which is unusual as to someone predicted that it would stay $8k range. And my bullish price is the $10k range which is seemingly stable for a period of time. Now would be the best time to buy since this is the dip that everyone was expecting to reinvest again after selling. Don't be too greedy to wait for another dip you might regret it if the price starts to boost beyond $10k. We are expecting for the bullish season but it somewhat we had failed again just like what we expecting last year. It seems to be that we are going to drop down more and go back to $3k, I hope not. It surely gives disappointment for those who are expecting another $20k and quite much more for those who invested last 2017. What do we have to expect to happen next? Still unknown, holding is quite a big help now rather than to keep buying. |

The pull back wasn't that drastic to make a meal out of the situation and it has started to show recovery instinct, and the year is all most up so I don't see bitcoin getting to $15000 this year anymore, probably sometime next year
We should have to be considerate also, not just by eating such a meal but we are having this chance, and why not have to grab this? Op target price already reach the target and I think it's time to buy bitcoin if some individuals already see your target value of the bitcoin. But I think bitcoin still continue decreasing so better to wait for now but if you think it reach the price you can buy because anytime for sure bitcoin is possible to rise but it is still unpredictable . Not sure if this is counted but remember when Manny Pacquiao fought Thurman last July this year? All of crypto is still technically speculative meaning no real demand because of usage. So, buyers are enticed by profit. And when a coin is hyped to be added to an exchange, unsuspecting newcomers think this is fomo time and buy at any price while those who are already in profit dump their coins asap causing a cascading effect where all the rest suffer losses.
Without any real usage and any expected progress early investors will completely dumped the tokens that they've got, it's better for them to sell and enjoy the profits that they will have so expect things like this will happen. You need to be more selective with everything that you will going to decide especially with new projects around, the real usages and teams behind are very important to consider. seriousness and a professional team will determine the project will go according to the goal, but now I see a lot of developers who only have the goal to raise funds, they didn't intend to develop the product from the start. we must avoid fraudsters like that from the start. That is a market trick, pretty sure they just want the money coming in but have no guts to sustain their project after. That was a sad reality of some project launch today. I doubt it, for that to happen we will need for bitcoin to become the most dominant currency around the world, and while that possibility cannot be discarded I really doubt that governments are ever going to stop printing their own currencies since it gives to them too much unilateral power over people and their futures, however if bitcoin becomes big enough then I do not see why we could not reach a point in time in which every big casino has to accept bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies if they want to remain profitable.
I agree but it's not even about Bitcoin been the dominating currency but on what will happen to countries where cryptocurrency are banned. Or else if the casino refuse to register their company or get a licence for it (which is not a good idea for authenticity) ;it cannot work. Most probably I will be buying alts while the chance is present on all coins, and in preparation for the upcoming green market. This vision isn't certain yet, but it's no big deal if it takes more months before it commences. When there's a definite bounce we will establish a good momentum, even though bull run won't happen in reality.
There is something we called TRUST, it sometimes we need to put it into the most and reliable thing. Though we think that most altcoins are just fakeouts but still there is some left that is worthy of our trust. What it makes difficult to everyone is that the market isn't moving fast and it somewhat the crypto fails their expectations.
