They really need to get a native English speaker to do their comms. It's a language barrier thing. So am guessing as long as you signed up with the DecentGo service with the same email and password as you did on the ICO and Reclaim Portal, you are good to go. I predict a lot of people will dump when trading starts because the execution has been terrible. |

Okay, I guess there is a language barrier and whoever wrote the instructions did a very bad job.
Anyways, I did the reclaiming process.
Then I opened a new account on decentgo portal using the same email and password that I used during the initial ICO and during the reclaim process.
So on decentgo, I now have a wallet with the same email and password that I used back in the ICO in 2016.
That leaves me with 2 sets of recovery passwords now.
I have 0 Decent in the wallet but I guess they will go through all the accounts one by one and then see if they match and then transfer the coins.
Hope that this description helps.
I have to say, really bad execution for something they have been planning over a year but I hope this clarifies the situation.

But the point is that at the moment we still don't know if is it correct.... yes, I agree that someone from the Decent Team should actually communicate and tell investors whether this is the right procedure. It's really infuriating when there is a complete lack of communication from the dev team. It could all be avoided by a simple blog post. They should really fire their community manager/ PR person. i'm monitoring my Decent GO account, currently still 0 DCT, I've submitted a support ticket (since DECENT explicitly stated that any issues should be addressed through their site ticket system), this was done yesterday, I have had no response as of yet... being patient. Also I'm watching the trex books to see if any sell orders pop up, that's when we'll know for sure tokens have been released (or devs are selling.. lol)
did you create a new account on the Decent Go platform? because I thought once you reclaimed in phase 1, we just carry said credentials over on the DecentGo one. |
