Anyone know what exchange is using the FLO blockchain and why?

What leads you to believe there's an exchange using the Flo blockchain?

If so, probably the people behind that exchange know which one. As for why, because Flo is great Smiley

🔹privatekey export format changed

For clarity on that, they are still compatible and no funds should be lost in updating. If all your coins live in a wallet.dat make a backup copy and updating should work without any issue.

If you ever used `dumpprivekey` in v0.10 you'll have to convert the WIF format before you can `importprivkey` in v0.15 similar to the change from M-addresses to L-addresses in Litecoin

If you're feeling adventurous you can find it on the Alexandria GitHub which a few members of the team have been running for a while now as we cleanup the final odds and ends before releasing.

Edit: Also as noted above by metacoin, the name of the coin is Florincoin or FLO.

FTFY

That is not accurate, look at metacoin's signature line

Fair point, I can see the confusion, I'll message him about fixing that. The domain will unfortunately stick around for a while but we can definitely get "Florin block Explorer" fixed.

Hi! Could you please use our new logo, and if possible, could you shorten the name to just "FLO"? We are transitioning away from the name Florincoin.

Scam coin , lost a lot of Money on Yobit .....

Dont buy this coin -.-

Well that's nothing to do with the coin being a scam but rather Yobit being a scam.

Sounds like you're talking about https://alexandria.io and not http://florincoin.org

FLO is fucking shitt coin ..
I have been holding this shitt since June 2017 and following it.
But I tell you don't buy FLO .. Else you loose...
Their segwit /rebranding/ Atomic coming since June nothing delivered yet.

Earlier I also advised to invest on Flo but now we are going out from it..

So if you all are thinking to buy FLO don't do. Research go for some good project with good volume and great team.

Ok

Hello Florin community!

I recently posted here about a bug affecting GUI wallets, but the post was deleted.
  • How does your recommended GUI deal with watchonly addresses?
  • Does your GUI display watchonly addresses as different than actual addresses in the wallet?

We just want to let you know about the watchonly-GUI bug. If your wallet does not properly manage the watchonly addresses, there is a chance a user can send funds to the address and likely not recover them. Sorry if the last post was too alarming, I'm working on it ; )

Stay safe,
Jay

Odd that it'd be deleted since this thread is unmoderated.

Do you happen to know if this exists in Bitcoin/Litecoin  0.15? We're in the midst of a leap from 0.10.4 to 0.15 and if it's not addressed I'll check it out while I'm diving in.

Which rights do your tokens provide its holders with?

Sign up on forum. Ask a bunch of dumb questions in random coin threads. Don't care about the answer. Yay, now I've got a ranked up account!

51 posts in 51 different threads, all dumb questions. Nice!

Anyway. An actual answer: none.

SXC isn't an ICO or ERC20 token. It's a good ole fashion altcoin for the adult industry.
Someone selling something for SXC? Send them some SXC and buy it. Fin.

Thanks, I will try this. How do I get a copy of the old client again? I don't have access to it anymore.

If you're feeling brave you can compile the source yourself from https://github.com/sexcoin-project/sexcoin/releases

It doesn't look like the old links work anymore, maybe Lavajumper (dev) has a copy he could re-upload for you -- be cautious of anyone providing random executables.

Do you have pre-ICO?

No ICO. This coin predates ICOs and their ilk.

Hey everyone, I'm an old SXC miner from 2013-2014 who had a wallet that was backed up Jan of 2014. When I tried to put the wallet into the new client, it says all my transactions are conflicted and I can't find any of my transaction ids/addresses in the prohashing block explorer.

Can anyone help me understand why I can't access my coins? Thanks!

Edit: My account says I'm brand new cause apparently my old account info was released in a hack of 2015? I have been away from crypto for quite some time...

Old wallets and backups should work fine in the new version. Perhaps try a rescan of the blockchain? Did you copy the backup then run the sync or sync then copy the backup over? How much balance? Try a different explorer? If your really running out of options PM me and I'll see if I can restore them for you myself and send to you?

I tried in multiple block explorers and it's like they never existed. I even looked at the transaction times from back then and found the exact blocks where they should have happened and the transactions don't exist. It's like they completely disappeared into thin air. To be fair, I added the wallet before the blockchain has completely synced and I have 34 weeks left until I'm up to date but I don't see how that is the reason since these coins are untouched for almost 4 years.

The address doesn't exist, the addresses I've sent to don't exist, the transaction IDs don't exist. But it clearly should be sexcoin since if I try to load another coin's wallet, it crashes the client and the receiving address starts with S77 which should be a sexcoin address.

Is it possible that this will get fixed once the client is fully synced?

From the sounds of it your coins should be showing already. Is it possible you were mining on a forked pool which was lost when the pool reconnected to the network losing your transaction?

Were they all mined transaction or do you also have standard transfers to/from exchanges or other addresses?

I have a few transfers to another address which also can't be found on the block explorer. The rest are transfers from my mining rigs at the time into my main account, they were set to transfer every few minutes and I had multiple rigs. At the time, these transactions were confirmed many times since I would have definitely noticed if something was wrong with the transfers back then. There are hundreds of transactions to the address starting from 1/7/2014 to 1/25/2014 which was the period of time I mined this coin.

It'd be really great to be able to figure out why it's as if these coins never existed.

Are there many addresses in the wallet or only a few with balance?

I'd try opening the debug console and try 'dumpprivkey address' then create a new wallet and 'importprivkey privatekeyfrombefore'
