... enough to get mugged...
.... As cash involves risk of getting stolen ...
My low-limit rewards credit card. Fuck getting robbed.

Oh and a handgun and 24 rounds of ammo.  Cool

Hey, where I'm at anyone of age can open carry (if it's visible it's good) or after taking a safety course and getting a permit concealed carry (hidden inside clothing)

While we are not 100% free a similar service is offered at https://untorrent.me

Your first 500MB are free and from then on it's 0.0005 BTC/GB

That's 0.0005 btc/GB Uploaded? or Upload/Download combined? (just for clarification)

I don't think they are uploading anything..

That's 0.0005btc/GB downloaded and we seed back to a 3.0 ratio, so it could be used for a private tracker.

So long as you get a .torrent file url or a magnet link it'll work. Future plan is to allow upload of .torrent files also but for now it's urls only.
How long do you keep the torrent in case it didn't reach 3.0 ratio ?

Until the disk space is needed, several have been on the server for over a month but the minimun will be 1 week for sure.

After 3.0 ratio, the torrent is stopped automatically I guess?

Upon reaching 3.0 the torrent will stop seeding but the file will remain on the server waiting for you to download it if you haven't already, even of you have though it will stick around until disk space is needed again.

If you return to re-download a completed torrent you will be charged again for the second download.

Your service it's interesting but IMO the 500MB is too low  Roll Eyes

What do you propose as a reasonable amount?

It's similar but not the same  Cheesy just to clarify for newcomers, The Seedbox that the OP is offering could be useful if you're in a private tracker or if you want to help seeding a file that you downloaded before.

The same can be done at https://untorrent.me as files are seeded back to a 3.0 ratio whether it comes from a public or private tracker.

Anyway... good luck with your project, of course!
Ideas like this one to potentiate the torrent usage, are always welcome.

Thanks!

wow so this is like seedbox service on torrent file, using bitcoin as payment method
I love download on direct link, but many files already deleted on direct link hosting Sad
So i use torrent to download file, but sometimes it is so slow Sad
Your service is the answer for my need Cheesy
Question :
1. How long my file stay there if i don't delete it? In case i download file with big size, i need long time to download completely
2. What happen if i download copyrighted materials, like movies or TV series?
0.0005 btc per GB is really cheap, Thanks

1) You don't have the option to delete it yourself. Torrents get seeded to a ratio of 3.0 then they are periodically deleted as disk space is needed but they should be up for a week at least

2) If it's brought to our attention we may have to remove said file but otherwise we don't get involved in what our users download. That being said only download content for which you have the rights to.

Block Explorer is online! http://107.189.32.1:2751/

It seems that block explorer is offline now.
The last block is shown as 659930 there, but my wallet shows me 663014 now.
What's wrong? Huh

Our node crashed at that height as well. May have been a large reorganization.

Our wallet should be back online shortly

In a way it's good to hear it wasn't just my node, that way I know it wasn't the server.

Anyway, block explorer is syncing again.

Is is for people whos ISPs are blocking their torrents downloads or having heavy regulatory laws about piracy ?

It's for anyone who can't or doesn't want to run a torrent client on their own pc for whatever reason they may choose to easily acquire the contents of a torrent delivered via .zip file.

I found a problem with a partial download (single .part file in zip) or download still im progress although website says 100%.

It said 100% right away after I entered the magnet url.

I'll PM you the link to you can see which file.

EDIT: ok, it's downloaded now.

So the bug is that it says 100%.

I'm assuming this can happen when a file I want to download has already been started by someone else but is not complete yet?

Thanks for the report, that should be fixed up now.

When adding a magnet link the size of the download is not known in advance so Transmission reports the progress as 0 bytes downloaded out of a total of 0 bytes, so the code sees downloaded is equal to total and reports 100% completion.

The page has been updated to show "Fetching magnet metadata" instead of "0 bytes" until the magnet finishes processing and the true downloading begins.

When you came back later it worked because even though your screen was no longer updating Transmission continued to download in the background.
1036  Economy / Auctions / Re: BTCT.CO (BTC Trading Corp) Server with Code (also ran litecoinglobal.com) on: April 27, 2015, 02:39:36 AM
Btct.co is fairly secure, I only found one SQLi which was promptly fixed.

While you may have spent a lot of time working on it, this does not mean it is worth that much. Fundamentally with the current state of the bitcoin economy you want to start with a secure prototype with the core functions. You so do not need unnecessary things like options, time delayed trades, android apps, etc to start off with.

Good luck with the sale, it may be useful to someone at that price but I suggest pricing it more modestly.
I would not exactly consider this to be a vouch especially considering who it is coming from lol.

Do you happen to be an alt of the OP?

That's TradeFortress.

What other thing can I do with an FPGA?

That's the cool thing about fpga's you can reprogram it to do anything,  ASICs on the other hand can only do what they were originally made for.
That's a moot point Roll Eyes There's no way for the common guy who bought this FPGA to mine Vanillacoin, to find other uses for it.

But it compares in the sense that when you're done mining with your GPU farm are you going to play Crysis at 8k with 20 R290's?

No, it's just not going to happen, rather you sell it to someone else who does have a use for it

Sorry to  be so late about this but health and work tied me up and pinned me down.  Still a little out of it but that could be a good thing, for ideas, maybe.  Because thunk I have!  I was thinking and thinking, and then I thinked some more until I was all thunked out.  But I believe I just might have thunk an idea or two, maybe.

That sounds like a Dr. Seuss line.

With regards to the coin, I doubt anything will ever come of Tecoin.

It may be beneficial to get this wrapped up and resolved quickly because I don't think Bit-x allows negative trust users in the signature campaign.
