for me, gambling is a way to release out my stress, and when i am gambling, i don't take too much money in my pocket, just a few dollars, make one or two round, then i quit. i don't want to be addicted because its too dangerous and too risky for me.

It is true that giving up gambling its not as easy as people say, especially when you are already addicted to this activity, the best thing you can do is find support from your family and your friends to help you to stop, if this is too severe then you can ask the help from psychiatrist

As I see situation is very simple, poor people are just more poorer, and rich people are more richer. I find myself in the middle, I'm not poor but sometimes I lose a lot in gambling and that make me poorer. I'm not rich from gambling either, but sometimes I have more money in the pocket then usually.
Gambling is a game for rich people, poor people need to relay on luck mostly. If they have luck they will make some money fast if not losing is what waiting for them.
But rich people who are addicted to gambling may become poorer. Only a few rich people earn in the long term except those poker pros. maybe a few rich people don't share their secret how to get rich from gambling. but for me, i am not getting rich from gambling, maybe in just $5 or so, just little money. |

i think there is no better way in quitting it, than just making yourself some target.
For example, today you are not going to lose more than 10$. Next day only 5$. etc,etc and you will get well.
I completely disagree. There is a way to quit gambling for good. It doesn't matter if you don't win now or whatnot, but there is a way. First off is to know and realize that you have a problem with gambling, and accept that fact. If so, then you can easily move to the next, which is that to try to use ALL of your free time into anything else but gambling. Make yourself busy to the fact that you won't even have time to gamble. If that's a problem, then don't be afraid to ask for external help. Rehab centers are best for these because they exist for this very reason. yes i agree with you sir. without accept it we can not found a way to quit gambling. first, you need help from your family, then you your friends. but i don't think that rehab centers is available in every city. so maybe first thing is your family need to know. |
