1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / CRC Revival Attempt on: July 31, 2013, 03:28:47 PM
I will be hosting a poll in my support channel and here and would like everyone possible to give me their opinion. Like how i created the GME pool to get GME revived and back on track i would like to donate some hashpower to CRC and help them to get to the retarget block, in 6 hours time i will create another pool and provide the url and ports for the crc pool. and i will split the following bounties between miners
3k NAN  5K GLC 2K DVC and 15K GME 20 BTG

The above donations have been gratefully donated by the following people:

Me: 15k GME
Mullick: 20 BTG
r3wt: 3k NAN
shekezula: 2k dvc
SIstaFista: 5K GLC
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BETA][EXCHANGE][REALTIME] CoinEX realtime exchange with ZERO FEES for beta on: July 31, 2013, 01:34:09 PM
we got to be careful about what coins we list to avoid situations like it was with powercoin on cryptsy.

You also need a coin that makes you different from the other 20 exchanges, otherwise, why pay all the fees to send my funds fRom Cryptsy to your exchange?
please name first 10 of those 20 exchanges Smiley
also, what fees are you talking about? we've got zero fees now.

cryptsy withdrawal fees and transaction fees

you should add BTE there aswell
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] New! HBN Pool - The HELP Hobonickle Launch Initiative... on: July 31, 2013, 12:20:48 AM
thats what i was told on cryptsy what theyre wallet said when they solo mined coins, If shekezula is willing to correct me then ill change it, but im sure ud all rather have ur coins when theyre definitly secure than being withdrawn when a block isnt confirmed and taking money that doesnt exist
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] New! HBN Pool - The HELP Hobonickle Launch Initiative... on: July 30, 2013, 10:48:33 PM
im just following what i have been told,
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Announcing Galaxycoin - GLX, the new PoW/PoS coin, no premine! on: July 30, 2013, 08:54:05 AM
this is a great coin, diff swing makes me always get some blocks. Also the PoS blocks payout.

Again, can you explain how the PoS blocks pay out compared to PoW?  My coin didn't need PoS, cause it was very stable, are you saying it would have been better for me to include PoS, regardless?  Thanks again.

Are GLX seeing any supply on the exchange yet (coin-e), cause I wanna buy some.  I can't get my miners to mine it, nor my coin.  I really like this coin for som reason and I want to accumulate some for next year.  TIA.

PoS blocks are like interests, paid out every certain days, based on your holding of the coin. PoW blocks you actively mine it. Usually PoS is between 1%-100% annual interest rate, depends on the coins.

PoS provides the coin more resilient to 51% attack. As the attacker will need 51% hashpower and also 51% stake of the coin in order to do a 51% attack, which makes it a lot more difficult, and also with 51% stake he is unlikely to attack the coin where he is already the majority owner.

GLX has quite some trades in coins-e.com, the last trade at 0.000015 BTC/GLX.

So why in the world would my programmer leave out PoS then?  Just cause its stable?   That's absurd.  Looks like another error.  I wonder if I can add PoS without a hard fork.  This is ridiculous.  These people coding new coins need to learn their jobs.

more like u need to research how a coin works then do it urself or get a real coder to make it. if someone asked me to make a coin id just make it to the specs, nothing more nothing less. its the guy who wants coin's problem to know what the specs of the coin should be. otherwise the coder may aswell release it himself, it doesnt exactly seem like the other guy isnt doing much does it?

1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is now dead. r3wt snuck in a premine and scammed the community on: July 29, 2013, 06:13:53 AM
damn this aint going to end well. spots get me the source, ill fix it and have fresh copy back to you tomorrow free of charge on behalf of r3wt. the rest is up to you and your partner, hope the epic fail coin does better than it already has
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is now dead. r3wt snuck in a premine and scammed the community on: July 29, 2013, 05:16:14 AM
it should be as simple as this, either do it yourself, get a secure team together to make the coin and test it before release e.g. get other people to check the source or be a stingy tramp and get it done on the cheap and put up with whatever shit comes your way, as simple as that. gascoin was never going to work out to be ANYTHING. why? because the dev couldnt even sort out the basics required to creating and maintaining a coin, so getting it out there is mission impossible
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is dead and this is how r3wt scammed us and destroyed the coin on: July 29, 2013, 05:04:13 AM
perhaps because i dont see the need to jump to conclusions unlike you?
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is dead and this is how r3wt scammed us and destroyed the coin on: July 29, 2013, 04:24:02 AM

1814  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is dead and this is how r3wt scammed us and destroyed the coin on: July 29, 2013, 03:19:09 AM
lol i dont even have a satoshi of gascoin remember my post on the official thread? reserved for trolling or pool. with a stupid name a highly unlikely set of motives and a premine who would honestly want to have anything to do with the coin? the dev leaving says it all, check some other coins out. ixcoin dev came back, bytecoin i got a team together and weve taken over. and theres u leaving the coin in under 24 hours?
If this was directed at me, I don't read your posts, unless you're spamming your advertising in Cryptsy chat and I'm forced to.

right so in ur post there, youve not quoted me right?
1815  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is now dead. r3wt snuck in a premine and scammed the community on: July 29, 2013, 02:27:55 AM
its in the code, the greater the transactions in the block the higher the block reward
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is dead and this is how r3wt scammed us and destroyed the coin on: July 29, 2013, 02:13:09 AM
AHA so you were able to quote my posts but not read it, why not join the gascoin dev team, retards are welcome there. On cryptsy i do more support work than advertising, most other people advertise for me without even asking, you seem to be the only one with the problem here else my pools wouldnt have any miners
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] GAS Coin is dead and this is how r3wt scammed us and destroyed the coin on: July 29, 2013, 01:47:14 AM
sorry to hear what happened. while not all members of your team performed up to par, this should have been avoided with proper requirements verification and product testing. a team leader not only has to set the requirements of the project, but also is ultimately responsible for verifying that the product meets the requirements before letting the public use it. it's not easy to do by any means, so learn and keep trying Smiley

yeah it was set to 120 but i later found out the official confirm time is 520 so i set it back, otherwise it would be possible for users to withdraw coins the pool does  not yet havee
