why do you seem to think that i am running a scheme? also why do u seem to think that it will affect bytecoin negatively?
1442  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ByteCoin Poll (PLZ Sticky) on: September 17, 2013, 03:02:47 PM
I disagree. With the full merged mining setup I'll be providing there will be no reason for any existing miners to use bitparking. Intact id highly recommend against it. Once we achieve a stable hashrate with on target blocks therell be a number of services and a community for bytecoin the first service will be a betting site. Bytecoin should also be accepted by the server sides web design co. A site for developers and customers to integrate may also be coming soon. During the process the bytecoin website, forum faucet an pool will be created

I've come to the final conclusion that I will only change merged mining and implement the latest bitcoin coinbase. I will also be adding several other additions such as changing the alert keys so I can tell users to update to the latest client for new checkpoints. I now would like a list of all people who would want a solo merged mining pool with a web fro tend. And if there is anyone else interested in helping out
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MCXNow Can See your passwords! REALSolid has access to all your Passwords on: September 17, 2013, 12:26:43 PM
doesnt make much of a difference where its encrypted. yes its possible to check its before its encrypted. thats nothing to say that the majorityof site admins will. you as a dev should know better than that
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MCXNow Can See your passwords! REALSolid has access to all your Passwords on: September 17, 2013, 11:56:55 AM
It's not about jealousy, it's about irresponsibility, and breaking trust with your clients.

RS is an obvious amateur when it comes to security.

This is all about jealousy and envy.
Salting and hashing is absolutely no added security. I said it twice and will repeat this forever, EVERY SITE ADMIN HAS THE ABILITY TO SEE YOUR PASSWORDS.

At least RS is honest about it, and I cannot see how that is breaking trust.

I wished you people use your brain for once instead of saying what others are saying.

wrong, most can only see the hash. they would have to decrypt it to see the password
i use the exchange before but even i can tell you no matter how well it works the non hashing is the single flaw in there

^doh, i wont be having btc, the time to find a block with the predicted hashrate we will recieve is 0. I have a few tricks up my sleeve. theres, other coins which can be merged mined alongside

Why would anyone ever want to mine just DVC, when they can mine DVC and BTC, at the same time?

Merge mined pools are eligible, but at least 0.5% of the BTC must be converted to DVC to be paid out to the miners.

For example, if your pool mines 100 BTC and 50,000 DVC, then 0.5 BTC needs to be converted to devcoins, and then 99.5 BTC and the 50k DVC + 0.5 BTC in DVC would be divided among the miners.

Like this but 100% is converted to dvc and given to miners

I do find t unfair that the requirements were changed for one complaint. Merged mining would require a whole rewrite in code which was what i was planning on using the funds for. Since my
The current frontend which ive created for merged mining is definitly not fit for production use imo so in that case i guess im out. A stable pool is better than a buggy one which is unfit for use. Another draw back is the devcoin clients which are based on ancient code so it becomes harder to implement. a talk with doublec revealed he uses heavily customized sockthing backend and his own custom frontend. Ill keep the pool up incase anyone decides to mine on it. Since there arnt many dvc pools around and the requirements limit the pools further. We all know theres been a bounty for a merged mining frontend for months but no one's filled it cause its so troublesome to implement(ive said that too many times right? Tongue)

To shake: actually i can compromise theyre. If i did get the bounty with a 2% fee miners would have no problem mining on a pps pool since they get paid even if i dont get a block.(i only run true pps)

Edit: since i cant currently merge mine im also willing to merge mine on the backend, auto convert and add on the value of those merged mined coins to the block value so say from tomorrow ill double the block reward, exchange and merged mined coins to cover it and anything extra give away as block finder bonus's
1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ByteCoin Poll (PLZ Sticky) on: September 17, 2013, 12:51:33 AM
Your reading too deep into it if you search through my old posts ull see i asked profmac for his eloipool setup. Well i never go it so created my own. Now ill be distribiting a vm or a github repo with all the scripts etc needed to make a merged mining solo pool automatically. So that way solo miners dont lose out

1455  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ByteCoin Poll (PLZ Sticky) on: September 16, 2013, 11:46:47 PM
If anyone doubts about merged mining, look at TRC. It's constantly raped by difficulty swings.
Either the merged mining should come, or difficulty retargeting has to be changed. The first is better IMO cause it provides a lot of additional hashrate.

THANK YOU!! Atleast someone else who agrees with me. All the Major Pool OP's and developers have agree on it. its people who haven't attempted to resolve the issues that are complaining.

Got a pool online. dvc.crypto-expert.com im currently mining on it

GetWork Only. 0 fees until i patch the devcoin daemon to support GBT as i cant find one out there. The fee will be 1% after my 1 week promotional period(1 week after i have stratum running on the pool) . id like to claim the bounty for it if possible.

EDIT: once i get stratum and a good enough hashrate would you guys be interested in PPS?

1 quick question. instead of bounties like this why not have one for updating the darn client? its one of the essentials for a functional pool
1460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ByteCoin Poll (PLZ Sticky) on: September 16, 2013, 07:22:42 PM
no one, i did the coding myself since i began to learn how to do it. My main problem was im not used to C++ cause im a vb.net programmer. I was also the main coder behind cloudcoin before i left (too high premine and no communication)
