101  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Expresscrypto] PTCL Faucet Script (Paid To Click Shortlinks) on: January 19, 2020, 07:34:28 AM
I am using my own link shortener and have been accepted by A-ads, propeller ads, coinmedia, adshares, flyersqure, under.popads, popads and one or two others.

There is just one problem I have and it makes no sense to me. Have a look please tell me what you think.

http://ptclink.faucetcollector.xyz/ is the unsecure connection and the site looks fine
https://ptclink.faucetcollector.xyz/ is the secure connection and the site is missing .css stuff and looks horrible. I honestly do not understand how Google sees HTTP and https I have heard they can be viewed as entirely different sites by google and that hurts your SEO. How come does going to https change everything? Like I say I have no idea how HTTP and https works or if it counts as two or one site.

Thanks.
Because you are using https so you need to change base url in config.php to https, if not the browser will block content loaded via http like this.
102  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 18, 2020, 05:18:37 PM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
I believe that crypto will be the world's currency. However i think stable coins are more suitable. There are many things to do with the security to make sure that the world's economic can be relayed on it.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining crypto by walking on: January 18, 2020, 04:14:51 PM
A couple of years ago, there was a crypto project named "MangoCoinz" which allowed anyone to earn crypto by simply walking. The app used the smartphone's pedometer to keep track of the steps taken by an specific person. This encouraged anyone to exercise their body while getting paid in return. While this was great back then, the project is no longer being developed. Something like this would've been great to have in the mainstream world today, but I guess there was lack of demand for it back then.

I'd hope that someday a new dev team takes charge of the "MangoCoinz" project or simply create a fork of their own, to allow people to "mine" crypto by walking. It's completely revolutionary way of doing exercise while getting paid in return. Maybe launching an ERC-20 token with its own app will do the trick? Whichever way it is, I look forward towards the revival of an app that would work just like "MangoCoinz" did in its early days.

Do you think something like this will be viable in the future? Huh
I think this is not a good idea because smartphone pedometer can be faked by modifying sensor signal in virtual devices. It will be cheated like pokemon go.
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Protect Yourself And You Protect Your Assets on: January 18, 2020, 03:03:35 AM
I've read people asking and posting how to protect their wallet but apart from educating yourself on how to protect your wallet, private keys and passwords, It's also very important that you protect yourself from exposing your portfolio you don't go around telling friends and random people, coins that you are keeping.
And also It's important to have other businesses or jobs and not rely on all your needs to Cryptocurrency, people will notice this and they will think you are making a fortune from Cryptocurrency and they might target you.

So are you protecting yourself and how do you protect yourself and your family?
I don't like showing my portfolio to strange people or even my friends. If i gain too much attention, i might be targeted by the governments or crimes. Morever, the crypto wallet can easily stolen if the private keys is leaked and police won't help me protect it because crypto is not legal in my country.

My account on expresscrypto doesn't have much crypto in it because I am still learning about all this and how to advertise and things. I am just letting people know so they don't think I am not going to pay them. When things pick up I will fill the balance.
Thank you for your words, i am really happy.
I hope your faucet will grow and accepted by good advertising networks.

107  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you define a good exchange? on: January 17, 2020, 01:10:34 PM
Hello to all the Bitcointalkers!

Because it is my first post, I have, at least, to present myself in several words. I am a coins/tokens dev and web developer full stack.
After several years of crypto experience, I decided to create my own project. It is not a coin, nor a token (there is already plenty of ERC20 tokens and coins), it is a cryptocurrency exchange.

There is already some exchanges available on the web, but I would like to build one which may fit to Bitcointalk users, it's why I opened this thread, and ask you today what do you like the most in crypto exchanges, as well as the things that you dislike. It can be specific features, themes, properties...
I want to build a good exchange, and for that I need to know your preferences.

Waiting for your replies Smiley
Lugdunex
A good exchange should have:
Strong security feature: It is important to protect your funds from hackers
Nice design: I don't want the chart broken when i zoom it on my laptop or smartphone.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: January 17, 2020, 06:22:15 AM
Currently, in this day and age, all governments around the world have adopted fiat currencies as a means for its citizens to trade with one another and to trade with other nations around the world. However, would it be possible for in the future for governments around the world to create a cryptocurrency as a means of trade to replace fiat currency?

I can see that fiat currency has many flaws as all types of currencies before it, but with the new “government cryptocurrency” would it be able to solve the problems that fiat currency has and make a better economy? I’m not really sure myself as I can’t really predict the future.

Considering that fiat currency replaced all the previous currencies before it, would cryptocurrency replace fiat currency in the future?

Cryptocurrency has many great features (decentralization, anonymity), however they are not what the governments want. They want a currency that easy to control and stable.
109  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Expresscrypto] PTCL Faucet Script (Paid To Click Shortlinks) on: January 17, 2020, 03:43:04 AM
Ok everything is working great. I got my expresscrypto api and token and tested it and it works just fine. I am so happy. There is one thing though. How come I cant add my own link to the shortlnks?? I have to put just url.
I would have liked to use other peoples shorteners to also shortlink my own offers and monotonize it further. I did make my own shortener though so at least those I can add my own page it still would have been better to use it for all shorteners. Anyway nice script. Very happy.

One thing. How do I stop the shortlinks from rotating? If it rotates then it doesn't matter what earnings I put since it will be random so a high paying shortener could be used for low pay or the other way around. It defeats their purpose of even being able to change the earnings. May as well keep them all the same since its random.
Hi,
The script only support adlinkfly api format, so it works with shortener that use adlinkfly script or having similar api format.
You can remove ORDER BY reward DESC in line 13 file application\models\M_dashboard.php.
Please email me: tungaqhd@gmail.com from your buyer email or in rocketr for futher support so i can reply to you faster.
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people easily get scammed on the internet? on: January 16, 2020, 04:27:36 PM
What is Scam?
Scam is a dishonest scheme that is carried out by an individual or groups of persons in mode of taking away something that is valuable to others. Those who perform these acts are reffered to as scamers.

How do people get involved, how easily are people scammed and reasons?

Many individuals think of the internet as a get rich quick scheme and once they are exposed to any form of investment promising high ROI, witjout a second taught they jump onto it, you and I as well know how this will end? In a nutshell, GREED is a factor

Secondly the inability to conduct research and make real findings on our own. All this as a result of laziness.

Add yours!!

I entreat all of us to be on the look out for scan projects, make our findings and proof beyound doubts their scam intentions and also avoid been greedy when making an inveatment
I think people easily get scammed on the internet because of lack of experience. It often happen to newbie because they don't understand how market work, not just invest and earn profit.

112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China & The Bitcoin on: January 15, 2020, 05:54:20 PM
Seemingly in the news we hear how China is anti Bitcoin and anti cryptocurrency and well that may be all well and true but for an anti Bitcoin Country they sure do have lots of hash. In the Top 10 mining Pools in the world China has around 4 maybe even more. Which comes to the question what is really going on in China & The Bitcoin. As usual thoughts and comments are more than welcome. Thanks.
The Chinese governments want to control the economic while Bitcoin is famous for anonymous so they banned many mining company because of electricity problem.

Who here uses Bitcoin daily or lives on the financial crypto market?

I personally use Bitcoin wherever I possibly can, and accept it directly without converting it to fiat immediately. I have been using Bitcoin daily for years. (Ever since Bitpay started improving its Bitcoin debit card product)

This is a really interesting topic so I have reopened it. Here are some of my other threads on the topic that were closed. It is really cool to see the progression of comments which suggest that people are using it more and more.

Who here lives on crypto currency daily?

I am using Bitcoin for any services that accept Bitcoin like domain/ hosting because it is my main online income. It is sad that Bitcoin is not accepted as a payment method so i don't have chance to use it more often.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which wallet best for your currency store? on: January 15, 2020, 02:54:09 AM
Here are 3 crypto wallets that are the best to me, but personally I can say that I use the coinbase wallet more because lot of opportunity in coinbase.

1. Coinbase:
Coinbase is one of the easiest ways to buy, sell, and hold cryptocurrencies, which earns it the first spot on this list. With Coinbase.
Coinbase currently supports now:
BTC, BCH, BAT, REP, ZRX, Link, DAI, DASH, EOS, ETH, ETC, LTC, XLM, XTZ, USDC, XRP, ZEC
You can store here your currency, as your like.
Secority: coinbase give you strong password with email verification.

3. Blockchain:
Blockchain is the technology that allows Bitcoin and other digital currencies to exist.
Blockchain wallet is similar to Coinbase in that it is an online wallet and you can buy and sell directly through the platform.
Secority: You can use strong password with email verification and two-factor authentication.

2. Trezor:
Trezor isn’t a full buying and selling platform like Coinbase. Instead, it is simply a place to store your Bitcoin with multiple currencies.
Trezor wallet accept computer, tablet or phone.
Security: you can use strong password with two-factor authentication.

welcome to share your opinions for everyone new members in the crypto world with increasing our knowledge.
My favourite web wallet is Blockchain.com . It allows me to control private keys, many advanced secutity features like Email/ Two-Factor Authentication and adjust fee for each transaction.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Campaigns now trial and error method on: January 15, 2020, 02:43:17 AM
Hi All,

This is not about scam projects. This is about the projects which fail to raise enough funds due to what so ever reasons. When bounty hunters work for weeks and at the last moment project announces that they can no longer run it due to insufficient funds raised, its nothing but a waste of time and energy for us.
In my opinion, should project teams have enough fundings before they look for investors? What is called MVP is very important for the users to check for before investing.
MVP will ensure that even if funds are not raised as expected, it can be delayed but not dead.
From your point of view, what other points are there which projects and investors both look for?
It is sad but we have to accept it because we all know that most of them are fail, so we have to choose the bounty more carefully. If teams have enough fundings before they look for investors, the bounty reward might be much lower and will you accpet it?
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to invest my $1.5K? on: January 14, 2020, 05:26:33 PM
i have got around $1500 to invest in coins which coins do you guys suggest to invest in for quick money ? a year ago I have invested in STRAT and Sia and I lost big amounts and regret investing in those coins.

I'm thinking of investing $1k into BTC as its low risk but I would like to risk the the other $500 with a coin that I can make quick money with it
Making money fast mean put your money in risky especially when you have no strategy. The safest option now is investing in Bitcoin, the price is increasing and long hold would bring you good profit.
117  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: January 14, 2020, 04:18:51 PM
if I've created account/wallet on coinbase or any other exchange then my account is hacked and my coins/money lost who are responsible for it
The Exchange where I've created account Huh
is it my mistake Huh
what's you thought about it Huh

and how i make my account safe  Huh

There are many reasons lead to your account being hacked. That might be your fault if your password is weak, or leaked somewhere or the wallet provider if their security is bad.
118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: January 14, 2020, 11:00:59 AM
Hello,

I had this question in mind, since many of my trades with an adjusted stop loss got triggered, but then the market goes in the direction I wanted, but since it got triggered basically im out. I know this is due to big fishes messing around.

What do you guys think, is stop loss something or, or not so good?
Stop loss is a life saver for me. I set stop loss for every trade, it protects me from big loss if my prediction is wrong and i don't have time to look at the chart the whole day.
119  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: bitcoin-converter.com on: January 13, 2020, 04:49:51 PM
hi Bitcoin Community,

This is a project I started recently, an easy 'go-to' place to quickly check bitcoin prices on the most popular exchanges. Eventually, I hope this will become a place to learn how to start trading on these exchanges.

The idea is to keep it simple, attract and make Bitcoin easy accessible for newbies into Bitcoin.

Is there something you would like to see or you are missing when you check the bitcoin prices? I would love to hear your opinions. A review on Trustpilot is also appreciated.

https://bitcoin-converter.com/
It would be nice if the result is shown right after completing filling the input, and there is a option to show result of all exchanges.
120  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: January 13, 2020, 04:41:42 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?
I don't like trading at work because my boss often check your work. Moreover, i cannot focus on 2 things at the same time, so the result will not be good.
