762  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin paper wallet on: May 03, 2018, 12:22:35 PM
Hi Guys
I know fully I can just go google this but I am asking here to just add some assurance that I'm not gonna download some fake wallet.

Can anyone please recommend a good place to get a paper wallet generator ? I've had some gains but will only be getting a hardware wallet later this month and its worth securing my funds properly for now.  I would like to know I am safe in the meantime though.
i have been using https://www.bitaddress.org for along time, i think it is secure and trusted.
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: May 03, 2018, 10:54:13 AM
Both of these offer different advantages:

Bitcoin is the safest cryptocurrency and has reached the widest audience.
Not to mention holding a third of the entire market's value.

Ethereum is right there with it, holding second place on the ranks.
DApps, DAOs, and Smart Contracts changed the game.

So where do you bet your chips?

BTC or ETH?

I prefer Bitcoin than eth because it's the oldest and has high value, but there are many problems need to be fixed.
764  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we know specific bitcoin is stolen goods? on: May 01, 2018, 02:53:46 PM
For example, if some guy approach me and he want to sell bitcoin at low price, but big amount,

is this acceptable? or not? Why?
I think it's hard, you can track the transaction to see if it comes from a hacker's address. Not only stolen bitcoin sold at low price.
765  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Reduce to $ 4000? on: May 01, 2018, 01:02:49 PM
According to some sources, Binance was hacked just to hide the sale bitcoin of the Japanese (mt.gox) ( ~800k BTC ). If there are more information about the hacking exchange. Then, BTC breaking below 4xxx, maybe 2k5, I think the best way : u should to sell all your BTC, altcoin. All exchange will die. Thats' the second mt.gox. ***Attention from now until 7/4/2018.
The Chinese exchange is not easy to hack. If so, it is deliberate......
I think it is impossible, the lowest price i think is 6000 usd, it won't drop more or it will go to 0 usd.

768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is rare on: May 01, 2018, 08:12:22 AM
https://www.ccn.com/only-another-four-million-bitcoin-will-be-mined-heres-why/amp/

769  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Now and Forever on: May 01, 2018, 08:04:31 AM
I've been listening to lot's of talk people are indulging in these days about future of bitcoin and most of them assume there's no scope and hope for bitcoin.

Maybe, Umm Maybe they are right but strongly they are wrong based on the fact the world is moving.
Gaint's company and people who are running an organization would never support in the future of bitcoin because they feel powerless when they won't control the money, but because of the power and technology is being used behind this coin they might surrender.

Ok, I've been listening to some people saying "We won't be relying on money generated by electrcity" my point is what's the problem in this "Are we going back to the era where there will be no electricity? No Never".

As a normal person like you, I believe there' no bad in these coins although they are making our lives easy and saving us from crazy taxes. I'm not a millionaire I think for my every single $ like most people. There is the downside of these coins that I might not aware of but overall it's a good experience for me. Although during my trades I always lost my money never get profit. (I'm bad at my luck or not know how to play)

As a resident of Las Vegas, I can see a dramatic change in this cryptocurrency no matter if it's going down but surely will raise based on the growth and usage.

If you wear some cool unique dress and other peoples starting to wear the same dress and after sometimes that same dress starts selling on the shops at your city and in the world that means your dress was really awesome.

Same with this bitcoins It's been used all over the city. Let me give you some real facts.

Las Vegas is the city of tourist and we all know people all around of world came here and these people have good money.

Casinos and gambling are the heart of Vegas the moment you step into the airport you will see poker machines and now casino's are accepting bitcoin...

Gentlemen's Club in Vegas have started to accept bitcoin. However, not all of them but the point is they realized and started to accept this powerful thing.

If you walk to the restaurant and have NO Dollar that's fine you can use your bitcoin to pay for food as Restuarants accepting Bitcoin...

I know there are many other big places you will see bitcoin being used I just mentioned places which are most visited places in Vegas.

PS: No matter how much the value of coin goes down we still can't predict the future and hope this currency should grow...

Your expert thoughts are always welcome  Cool

Bitcoin is known as the first and trusted cryptocurrency. But in future, there might be a new currency that can replace Bitcoin with higher price, faster transcations and lower fees.
770  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Criminals and Bitcoin on: May 01, 2018, 07:51:47 AM
I have seen some news regarding hackers, terrorists, and other criminals using bitcoin for illegal trades.
How the police can find about these transactions?
Even if is hard to track illegal transactions, I don't think that Bitcoin can be a danger to society, since the problem is the society and its people.
Since the beginning of the internet this is happening ( the bad people committing crimes)  and no one is willing to shutdown internet because of that, so in that matters Bitcoin should be equivalent. I think those illegal transaction are one of the reasons some governments and the media are trying to depreciate bitcoin, but the problem is not Crypto/blockchain or Bitcoin, is just the society.
Bitcoin wasn't made for criminals, just because people use it for illegal work.
But it's hard to control this as Bitcoin transactions are anonymous and everyone can use bitcoin.
771  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: April 30, 2018, 05:30:17 PM
There are different reasons why we do things generally in life, Cryptocurrency too is not an exemption. Different people have their reasons for involving in Cryptocurrency as a whole. To me, I first heard about Cryptocurrency in 2016 after my adventures with ponzi schemes. The impression I first have was impressive because I was in a good hands then, my mentor was a keen and always ready to help person and he achievement was there to show for it. So I was curious to get started and join the big guns in Cryptocurrency world.

Share your views on the reasons that got you involve in Cryptocurrency and let the newbies learn.
After hearing from my friend, he made 100$ per day at least by trading, i searched on google how to earn free bitcoin, then i started with bitcoin faucet.
772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hold. on: April 30, 2018, 05:19:44 PM
I have seen all the bitcoin hold for many profits in the future. What do you do for this and say?
I am saying bitcoin and wait for a future when the price reach 100.000 usd or more. It's a safe way. Trading is more profitable but risky.
773  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin destroy the world? on: April 30, 2018, 05:17:04 PM

Bitcoin mining is based on very high energy costs and environmental costs.

One bitcoin =20 barrels of oil.

How many barrels of oil do you think the industry consumes every year?

10 barrels? 50 barrel?

Each year, the mining industry consumes more than 24 terawatts of energy, the equivalent of 13,239,916 barrels of oil.

Every 10 minutes, 12.5 bitcoins are dug up, meaning 20 barrels of crude oil have been reached since each bitcoin was dug up (not yet traded).

In other words, the amount of energy consumed by the global bitcoin mining campaign is 40 times greater than the amount of energy needed to support the Visa card network.

One bitcoin transaction = one American family USES electricity a week.

According to encrypt the currency analyst Alex DE Vries estimate an index, the currency trading energy consumed each year more than 24 tw, this is equivalent to total energy consumed each year in Nigeria, which has a population of 186 million.

Currently, about 300,000 bitcoins are traded each day. Each bitcoin transaction costs 215 kilowatt-hours of energy.

The average American household USES about 901 kilowatt-hours of electricity a month, which means that each bitcoin exchange consumes enough energy to make an American family comfortable for a week.

What do you think about the energy consumption of bitcoin?
I don't think so, it has more advantages than it. We should care about bigger things that waste more energy like factories.
774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The primary idea of bitcoin on: April 30, 2018, 11:55:41 AM
Hello,

I would like to discuss about the primary idea of bitcoin of Mr. Nakamoto. Was he a/is he a person who wanted to make world better place, to take from rich and give to poor, to create new elite? What I am linking to is that at the moment large mining farms, bitcoin visioneers who started in early 2010-2013 now have most of bitcoins and sad (my oppinion) truth is that they will keep growing than most of society stays in poverty.

I think it is socially incorrect situation as it is because I think primary and main idea of bitcoins was to make world a better place to live, to shorten gap between rich and poor, educated and non educated people...

And finally happened what happened, rich got only very small percentage, while others live as they lived before...

What is your oppinion? What was real primary idea of bitcoin? Are we on a right way as Nakamoto visioned?
I think the primary idea of bitcoin is a new type of money that can replace fiat money, can be controlled by the governments, can be used by anyone.
775  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price improvement in 2018 on: April 30, 2018, 04:33:50 AM
Global cryptocurrency investors are showing their enormous interest on bitcoin due to bitcoins upcoming bright future. 2017 was a great year for bitcoin.Bitcoin reveals its power to the global economy.worldwide investors are funding their assets to bitcoin now.i think bitcoin will set a new benchmark on 2018.Rival merchant organizations are feel free to invest and work with bitcoin now.its just a matter of time when bitcoin will rule the global economy.

777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs altcoins? on: April 29, 2018, 03:14:23 PM
Hi guys , what do you most prefer , holding bitcoins or buying altcoins which is have a good technology and for long term investment ?. I'm a little bit doubtful  where should i stand on . I'm not rich enough to buy and hold this coins at the same time. However I'm trying to figure out which of the  two much better . bitcoins have a old technology in blockhain compare to altcoins now which is they are more advanced but the prices  varies so  what your insight about this ?
I think investing in altcoins is better now because there are new altcoins monthly to invest.
But Bitcoin is safer and good for long time.
778  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How far can Bitcoin go? on: April 29, 2018, 12:05:19 PM
How far can Bitcoin go guys? If the the Market Cap currently is $219 000 000 000, can Bitcoin ever be worth $200 000 000 000 with this market cap?

I am just curious, is the Bitcoin (or any coin) price caped by the Market Cap? Or the finite number of fiat money in the world?
Can a coin be worth more than it's market cap or can the value of a coin be equal with it's market cap if it's intensively traded/used?
I hope it could reach 100.000 usd in near future and become more popular, when there are more country accept bitcoin, its value will go up.
