661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]INNOVA - We strive for innovation and adoption! | Hybrid Tribus coin on: January 13, 2022, 09:56:06 AM
Oh I am surprised that there is still activity here. I had a masternode a couple of years ago, but then the price fell and at some point the wallet didn't work properly anymore. Which is the latest wallet? Does it function properly? Can't wait for a new wallet. (I would probably have sold the coins a long time ago, but I couldn't get them out of the wallet  Cheesy)
Do I have to pay attention to something (coin swap?) or will my old wallet.dat just work?
662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 13, 2022, 07:16:27 AM
Gambia won Mauritania with 1 goal to nothing.

it seems that the lack of many goals is something normal in this tournament, there are already 12 games and we have less than 13 goals, this is very sad and regrettable, the quality level of the teams is very low, the way they play is irritating, I particularly can't watch the games completely because I get annoyed with this low quality of game
Yea my thoughts exactly. Football (soccer) doesn't require many goals in general to provide a good game, but constant 1-0s or 0-0s make a pretty boring tournament. I hope the quality of games will improve now that all the teams have concluded their first game and hopefully some of the initial nervousness has gone and the teams are better organized now.
663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoin will go 10x this year? on: January 13, 2022, 07:12:38 AM
I am eager to see bnb this year and hoping that gas fee won't explode same with eth, because if that doesn't remain affordable traders will become more hesitant.
Someday, binance chain will hit the marks and will dominate the whole crypto market. Many project these days associates with this network, so definitely that's always possible to happen within unexpected time.
I doubt BNB will make a 10x this year. It is currently valued 20% of the ETH marketcap. With a 10x it would be double the ETH market cap (but if that happens ETH would probably gain a lot too, so even with a 10x it won't surpass ETH in my opinion)
Yea gas fees are the big unsolved problem of the last year. Whoever comes up with an efficient solution will be the big winner of 2022. ONE is looking pretty good in that regard. The platform is growing quickly in popularity, but like all platforms it remains to be seen what happens once a critical number of transactions occur
664  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The first NFT rug pull of 2022 on: January 12, 2022, 05:10:55 PM
NFT craze isn't going to end soon since most money are made from NFT, the profit is more Insane than investing money on coins, this won't be the last NFT project that will rugpull it's just the freaking beginning, no matter what brings money in crypto space scam will always takes place
Yea, but who is making this money? I guess it's 90% the people that run those platforms and ask ridiculous prices that for some reason still some people find worth to pay their money for. NFTs are still young, but they are in desperate need of some sort of regulation. Right now you don't even know what you are paying for when you buy an NFT
665  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.10.0 on: January 12, 2022, 05:06:29 PM
The creator of doge Billy Marcus seems to be very offended by the community and promised that he would not return to work on the project anymore, it seems that many project creators come to this opinion because of overestimated personal expectations from the efforts that are spent on creating something.
https://twitter.com/BillyM2k/status/1475287992101072899
Didn't he create Doge as a joke anyway? But you are right, this is a very common problem. I suppose he had a clear vision in his head when creating Doge, however, when you work with more and different people on a larger project, the project can diverge and move away from your original vision. At least he has the integrity to stay behind his original vision and not to work on something that he is not convinced of anymore
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling addiction?! on: January 12, 2022, 12:55:41 PM
In real life, I have a good friend that is totally addicted to gambling/sportsbet and he has really no intentions to quit gambling even if he lose a lot of money each year (no he is not "rich").

Why some people get addicted and others no?
People get addicted with drugs because it's like math. If you smoke cigarette .... after a while your body will crave for nicotine.
To addictions there is a physical and psychological component. For smoking, drinking, drugs, ... your body can physically become addicted to the substance and crave for it. However, more often the psychological component is more relevant where the body becomes addicted to the habit or the feeling.

.. What happens with gambling?

For gambling obviously there is no physical addiction, as it is also the case for many other things people get addicted to, e.g. computer games, work, sex, ...
So for gambling people get addicted to their habit of gambling, or some aspects of it, for instance the feeling of winning a risky bet. This might give people such a rewarding satisfaction that winning becomes less important. However, other might be more addicted to winning lots of money than to gambling itself. This is probably different between people Smiley

668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 12, 2022, 10:25:38 AM
This was just a tactics gone wrong. I'm sure the coach had te thought of him playing fron the center would enable him to coordinate other players and to drive a sense of focus from the wings and defenders to feed him @M. Salah with enough balls to cause some real damage but that was far from it wit the Nigerian team. They ensure the balls weren't coming neither was he given enough chance to express himself on the pitch. Its a good one for the Nigerian team and thanks to Kelechi Iheanacho for that early goal that sealed the game up. This was a much anticipated win.
Yea I think you are right. Nigeria has the quality to successfully execute such a plan and to leave as the victor from the game. They are now one of the favorites to win the cup.

Meanwhile the other game (Sudan - Guinea) also ended without any goal... I really hope for all the spectators that we will get to see some goals soon  Roll Eyes

Today we see Ivory Coast for the first time. But "only" against Eq. Guinea. This looks like a sure win, but they will need to score at least a goal  Wink
The other two matches of Group F are a bit more low-key but could turn out to be exciting as they are completely open (Tunisia vs Mali and Mauretania vs Gambia).
669  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE-1 mission on: January 12, 2022, 08:29:55 AM
I remember when Elon Musk was invited to Saturday Night Live, American televisions show. How the dogecoin pumped and dumped too much.
This thing could be another pump and dump, or "Buy the rumor, sell the news" move again.
Overall, it's good for me since it's dogecoin, not other impostors' "meme coin". And this is another good for all cryptocurrency, not only on Dogecoin.
Yea exactly, the effect of a price increase would not last for very long, I think so too. Of course it does create media coverage and might increase the adaption of Dogecoin in the long run, but a significant pump would only occur in a short time window and will be sold off quickly after. I guess if you are a long time holder of Doge you can use this to your advantage a bit, but as said previously it will be difficult to time it properly
670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should There Be A Metaverse Constitution? on: January 11, 2022, 08:08:46 PM
What are your thoughts on the metaverse getting a constitution?
This would be a mere symbolic act in my opinion. The Metaverse (and in extension the internet in general) is not a place free of laws or outside of jurisdiction. Laws and rules of the real world are also valid there. What would be rather necessary is a better international co-operation to enforce real-world laws within the internet (and metaverse)

Algeria - Sierra Leone (Algeria is heavily favored, this looks like a 3-0, could be finally a game with some goals  Wink)
omg, what an utter disappointment, it ended 0-0. Algeria was seen as one of the top favorites to win the tournament, yet somehow they managed to lose points against Sierra Leone. I suppose they still will make it to the next round without much trouble but this result did come as a big surprise for me  Shocked
672  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE-1 mission on: January 11, 2022, 03:35:09 PM
I think we could discuss the hypothetical price movement dogecoin and other companies involved in the mission (like Unizen) could experience...I think a 30-40% move is possible.
Hm, generally I think it is possible to make a profit, however, it will be tricky to invest at the right time. If you buy now and the whole market continues to go down then you might still be in a loss even with a significant upwards movement in a few months. If you wait to long then you might miss some random announcement of the event which suddenly acts as a trigger for the hype.
Market timing is difficult with this event.
673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Help me out on: January 11, 2022, 02:14:28 PM
What is the best crypto investment advice you can give someone who makes 600$ per month from other job? I'm presently in this situation and due to the unstable crypto market we in I don't know what to advice this person, even 2022 looks bearish to me, help me out
30% Savings
30% Expenses
10% insurance
20% Traditional investment like stocks and indices
10% Allocate  for crypto

If you dont like volatility then its better to play safe on buying bitcoin
even though its not an assurance but at least on the better side of things when you are in doubt.

Hm I don't think you can just allocate 30% for expenses without knowing more of OPs background. It is unclear whether the $600 are already for investing or whether it is just the salary.
So first, OP please clarify if you want to invest $600 or whether this number is smaller as you have to deduct your expenses first.

Apart from that above reply already gives you an idea what should be done: split your investments in different asset classes and only allocate a small amount for crypto were a 100% loss would not bother you
674  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance CEO Zhao Is Worth $96B Excluding Crypto Holdings on: January 11, 2022, 10:37:12 AM
The $96 billion figure does not take into account Zhao’s personal crypto holdings, meaning it could be a significant underestimate.
Wow, this is a lot! This also means he has nicely diversified his portfolio. Even if the whole crypto space goes to Zero he will still be an extremely rich and influential person who can do whatever he wants in the future. As this is pretty unlikely now that crypto goes to zero he for sure will remain an important player here.

It will be interesting to see where he leads Binance. 2021 was a very succesful year, it will be difficult to surpass this in 2022. Binance now needs to sort out regulation issues all over the worls
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 11, 2022, 10:26:19 AM
Today we have:
Algeria - Sierra Leone (Algeria is heavily favored, this looks like a 3-0, could be finally a game with some goals  Wink)
Nigeria - Egypt (very balanced top game, could as well be a game in the final round, I think the teams will be careful not to lose, I would guess a draw like 1-1 or not more than 1 goal difference)
Sudan - Guinea (Guinea slightly favored by the bookmakers, I don't know much about the teams here)

676  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: an opportunity or preliminary start of bear market?? on: January 11, 2022, 05:47:33 AM
Technically it wouldn't be a preliminary start of the bear market. Looking at the previous cycles, we are over the top now and the bear season has started 1-2 months ago. The hope the people have is that the cycles are longer now, due to the general adoption and popularity.
I don't know what to think of it currently. It may well be that we get a couple of rough months for crypto, but I do not expect a 2 year bear season now.
677  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Speculation about biggest airdrops of 2022 on: January 10, 2022, 05:51:59 PM
In the internet, some user make a list with potential "Airdrop". You can access the list in here : https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1f_9c8P28dXG5K6DXlHGeTQUww5K8Ft6GgCKYZ8scjb0/

Off course, this is only potential there is no guaranteed at all but sometimes type airdrop like this can give you a big money. I follow some of them, right now transaction "NFTs" on OpenSea is also being targeted for the Airdrop.
Very interesting list, thanks! Incredible how many projects are there! So can you guys recommend any particular project from this list? It is difficult to find the really promising project from such a long list. (Also how up to date is it? many of the projects seem to have concluded their airdrops as it's written End of 2021 as the time point)
678  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 10, 2022, 05:00:37 PM
The next match Morocco vs Ghana will be a tough match, it's a battle between a North African against a West African country, both country equally match each other in terms of quality players, the North African countries are synonymous with playing like European countries, always play with high tempo and pacy and attacking style of play, however I trust the Ghanaians they will play with calmness  and match the Morrocans with strength and deploy physical prowess I curtailing their attacks.
Morocco Ghana 0-0 at halftime. It is the game without many goals as expected. Morocco is slightly ahead, but both teams still can score a lucky goal which might decide the game!

Guinea is ahead 1-0 at halftime against Malawi. No big surprise here, I guess they will take the win home and maybe score a 2nd goal in the process...
679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Cup of Nation Discussion Thread || Current discussion: Group Stage. on: January 10, 2022, 01:19:49 PM
Senegal versus Zimbabwe on at the moment, at the first five minutes, Zimbabwe had possession, at the moment, Senegal leads  with two shot off goal.
My prediction for the first half is 1 -- 0.
Still 0-0
1st half 1-0 currently pays >3.0
Hopefully you'll get lucky!
For the whole game still seems like a sure thing for Senegal. Every result that is not a win for Senegal would be a surprise for sure!

I'm looking more forward to Morocco vs Ghana later! It'll be a first highlight hopefully Smiley
680  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: [Diskussion] - [WAVES]. Ultimative Crypto-Token Blockchain Plattform. on: January 10, 2022, 09:04:43 AM

https://dev.pywaves.org/neutrino/

Dort sieht man
Quote
General Neutrino info (USDN):

Total issued: 540819636.7 USD-N
Collateral: 52079951.8951 Waves
Price: 14.728373 USD-N / Waves
Collaterized: 767052957.333 USD
Surplus: 41.83 %
