And Liverpool made a horrible start to their game now. Wolves got 1-0 ahead in the 3rd minute already which is the nightmare for Liverpool.
Bookmakers are still very convinced of Liverpool wininng the game, current odds are 1.3/5.5/8.0
Not without any reason, Liverpool was able to turn a few of their games around in the last weeks. Anyway, the decision will probably not made in this game, but rather in the Manchester City game, still 0-0 here, current odds 1.2/7.5/13.5
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 21, 2022, 03:45:45 PM
Today the first leg of the relegation from the 3rd into the 2nd Bundesliga took place between Kaiserslautern (from the 3rd league) and Dresden (2nd league). The game ended without goals 0-0. Kaiserslautern had more chances but was unable to score a goal. Dresden disappointed in the last months and wasn't able to win a single game in the 2nd half of the season. They will have to win the 2nd leg (on Tuesday) if they want to stay in the 2nd Bundesliga.

The 2nd game will surely determine who's going to stay or not, right now notable players for the FC Kaiserslautern like Terrence Boyd, and Philipp Hercher are at risk of getting suspended, for having 4 yellow cards while in Dresden's case they have many injuries, so they are not in their 100% for even though they have their main players with them, I totally missed their first game but will make a pick on the 2nd game for sure on what may happen with the game,
Here are the odds for the 2nd leg:
Dresden vs Kaiserslautern 2.1/3.25/3.6
Dresden is the favorite, but not by a huge margin, so anything is possible basically.

Bookmakers don't expect many goals, odds for >2.5 goals are at 2.15
I am afraid the 2nd leg will just be as bad as the first one. I guess the best we could hope for is any goal at the beginning of the game to force the team which is behind to open up the game. If I had to make a bet I would probably go for "Dresden doesn't win" (draw or Kaiserlautern wins) which pays 1.71, which seems not too bad. I do expect Dresden to remain in the 2nd league, but as the game is more or less open, many things can happen.
103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 21, 2022, 06:39:49 AM
Hamburg took advantage of their chance superbly. The first game was an away one for Hamburg but they still managed to win 1-0. This was a very important win for them to be superior to Hertha Berlin earlier in the matchup. Hamburg's recent effort is much bigger than Hertha Berlin's which has a huge role in their being this much effective. Hertha Berlin won't have anything to lose in the rematch. But I believe Hamburg are already too close to the Bundesliga.
I just saw the odds for the 2nd leg:
Hamburg vs Hertha 2.4/3.3/3.0
with total winner: Hamburg 1.38 & Hertha 2.8
(Actually those odds don't add up correctly, total winner Hertha should be less probable than Hertha winning the game and therefore pay more)

Bookmakers now have Hamburg as favorite by quite a bit of a margin. I think Hertha still has a good chance. They also won their important games in the Bundesliga against Stuttgart and Bielefeld, but Hertha needs to improve a lot compared to the first leg.

To me the sacking of Marco Rose is not surprising, although Dortmund this season can be in second place better than the previous season.
Yea, I also kind of expected it. Already during the season there were rumors in the press. It's probably better they do it now than in the middle of next season when they have a weak phase, I guess the management also thought in that way. I wonder who they will get now. Dortmund has many problems, the coach is not the only one and potentially also not the biggest one... Dortmund want to compete with Bayern, but they are not on the same level, so a future disappointment is almost always coming their way.
106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 20, 2022, 06:35:44 AM
Yes, Hamburg wins game 1. and Reis scored the great goal and HSV has double as much goolkicks than Hertha BSC… they were not good today. It's time that Hamburg returns to the First Bundesliga after 4 years. The second game is on Monday and even in Hamburg, good place at home for a win.
Hamburger is a big name in german football this is the first time they ever got relegated. 3 years ago that was for the first time in history. Now with this win they have an amazing chance to make a comeback to the bundesliga and hopefully stay in it
Hamburg indeed has a good chance to win the relegation duel against Hertha. But they should be cautious, we had a similar situation last year, where Cologne lost the first game against Kiel 0-1 and cam back in the 2nd leg with a 5-1. Hertha didn't have a good day yesterday, but I think the 2nd leg will be a completely different game. I am rooting for Hamburg though, it is the bigger name Wink
107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Winners: Eintracht Frankfurt! on: May 20, 2022, 04:55:41 AM
What a big win for Eintrach Frankfurt, not only for being Champion, also for have a place in the next UCL because if you check the Bundesliga this year they are out of european tournaments.

Lets see if they buy a b ig star (i dont thing so).
Oh wow, I wasn't even aware that Frankfurt wil go to the Champions League, I thought they would go again into the Euro League  Shocked
This will be a huge financial boost for them. However, I don't think it would be wise to buy "a big star". They should rather get a few new players that fit well into their team and improve their weaknesses and play a more stable season in the Bundesliga.
108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Market Analysis on: May 19, 2022, 07:20:20 PM
It is obvious that the cryptocurrency market is still in a bearish, with practically all crypto seeing a significant loss, but one of the most important things to do right now is to be patient and wait for the crypto market to rebound; you will benefit enormously from the investment you make, because what occurred in 2018 may repeat itself this year.
I would even say we are already in the middle of a 2018 repeat. I'd expect another 6-12 months bearish markets and then some time sideways market. In the long run it will also depend on new innovations and how strict the regulation will be in the most important countries. After that we might see another bull market, but who knows if old ATHs will be reached. Many coins and tokens won't reach their old ATHs is my guess
109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 19, 2022, 07:15:21 PM
^ I actually think in spite of being an away match for Hamburger they might have a better chance of winning because they have been playing well in the 2nd Bundesliga and Hertha has not played well in the Bundesliga, they are in a downward spiral. I think it is going to be tough for them to come out of that situation and win against Hamburger. and even though it will be a home match for Hertha, the support is going to be in favor of Hamburger.
I think this is a misconception. The 16th in the Bundesliga always had a worse season than the 3rd in the 2nd Bundesliga. Despite that the team from the Bundesliga was able to win the relegation matches in 10 out of 13 years.
What makes this year special is that we also see teams that played already multiple times in the relegation before, with Hertha losing and Hamburg winning twice, going against the first statistic Wink

It's almost halftime now and we are yet to see a goal, it's still 0-0. A result like that would benefit Hamburg as they play the 2nd leg at home.
110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 19, 2022, 04:30:21 PM
I don't think Liverpool is stronger than Manchester City. They likely have better tradition and more experience in Champions League than Mancheser City. But about quality, they are at same quality so if Real Madrid can score goals and beat Manchester City, they will be able to beat Liverpool.

Mane and Salah can score goals but Real Madrid in this season, does not have issue with conceded goals. They can score more goals and break mentality of opponents to get final win.
It might be true that Liverpool is not stronger than Machester, but I think we will see a very different game in the final compared to the Machester vs Madrid semi-finals.
Odds for winning the trophy are Liverpool 1.55 & Madrid 2.35, which is quite balanced considering earlier odds of the semi-finals when everybody thought it will be an easy task for ManCity.

Utlimatively I think Liverpool will win this game, but it won't be an easy task and might go to extra time.

~snip~
I guess you are refering to the Scotland vs Ukraine game?
I just checked odds and found: 2.3/3.2/3.2

Scotland does play at home, which is a real advantage again with audience in the stadiums. Independent of the war, I think Ukraine is not a weak team and probably stronger than Scotland. With Scotland playing at home they should be about the same level. Maybe bookmakers really factor in that Ukraine will perform worse because of it?
I think it's going to be a very close match, my guess is that they will end in a tie. In any case it's probably going to be a fun game to watch.
The qualification mode asks for a winner in the match, so if it's a tie after 90min we will see extra time and maybe penalties.
Then the winner will play Wales a couple of days after (in Wales) for one of the last remaining spots in the World Cup.

I think all 3 teams (Scotland, Ukraine, Wales) are almost on the same level, so we will see two very interesting games.

Whichever teams qualifies, they will be in a group with England, USA and Iran and will have a good chance for qualifying to the final round there as USA and Iran are definitely beatable for any of those candidates.

Total issued: 868606410.33 USD-N
Collateral: 47314161.7638 Waves
Price: 5.968956 USD-N / Waves
Collaterized: 282416149.745 USD
Deficit: 67.49 %

115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 19, 2022, 05:14:26 AM
It seems that these two teams, Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers, have designed this match to end in a penalty shoot-out. Overall Eintracht Frankfurt played better than Rangers but they still played cautiously without any impressive moves. Not only did Eintracht Frankfurt play like that but Rangers also applied the same pattern of play. Regardless, I congratulate Eintracht Frankfurt for winning the Europa League this season.
I think it is rather difficult to desgin a match to be decided in penalties. I think both teams would have rather decided the game in 90 or 120minutes instead. The teams were on an equal level, both had their chances to win, but of course in a final the pressure is high, especially for "smaller" teams like Frankfurt and Glasgow which are not likely to repeat such a success every year.
Congratulations to Frankfurt and respect to Glasgow! I was a bit happy to see the "big names" like Dortmund and Barcelona fail and smaler teams to progress instead.
116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA Europa League Discussion Thread -- 2021/22 Final! on: May 18, 2022, 07:35:55 PM
Frankfurt vs Glasgow is now at the end of the 1st half and we are still waiting for a goal. Frankfurt so far has more chances, but Glasgow is not playing too bad either. If the games goes on like this then Frankfurt has a slight advantage in winning the game, but it is a pretty open competition. Let's hope for some goals and excitement in the 2nd half Smiley

Current odds at the bookmakers are:
Winner: Frankfurt 1.6 / Glasgow 2.25
More than 2.5 goals: 2.75 (this seems interesting, if we see a goal soon, then the game could open up and lead to more goals)
117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: May 18, 2022, 07:30:17 PM
Scotland vs Ukraine is now getting closer, only a couple of weeks for it to start(June 1st). It's probably going to be an interesting game to watch, not sure who will end up winning though. Who do you think will win in Glasgow?

Bookmakers give a clear preference to the Wales team, but in my opinion they greatly underestimate Ukraine:

1,72 - 3,50 - 4,35

Probably Wales is really the favorite in this match due to the home game and some other factors, but these are teams of about the same level and in my opinion it is wrong to give such a strong difference in odds. Maybe it's because of the ongoing war? But does it have such a big impact on the Ukrainian national team, most of whose players play abroad?
I guess you are refering to the Scotland vs Ukraine game?

Not just that they don't have a difficult game in the league nopre, although we can't be conclusive on that just yet but, Manchester City to say the least have got no other important match other than there fixtures with Aston Villa and I say that with complete neglect to there fight fir the 3rd place in the UCL. Worst case for the Aston Villa team is that, they would be meeting Manchester City in there home and as such, Pep is sure to play them with all he has got and be sure of a trophy before ending the season.

Liverpool did good to keep hope and not break fate with the trophy but, this one is gone already. They should focus on the UCL finals.
Yea I think so too, for Manchester City this last game is like a final in the K.O.-round. They will make sure not to mess it up and to win the game. Liverpool will probably get the Champions League trophy though.
It will be a pity for Liverpool to come out 2nd after such a great season, but such is life, it would be the same for Manchester City (even though they do get more hate and are less popular Wink)
119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: May 18, 2022, 11:08:53 AM
Quotes for the result of the championship are as follows at the moment:

Premier League 2021/22 - Winner

Manchester City FC 1.14

Liverpool 5.50

I support Liverpool in this battle, but I understand that the chances are scanty. And by the way, in this situation, + 14% profit on City looks like a very generous opportunity. Do you think it makes sense to bet on such a low odds to at least slightly sweeten the unpleasant fact that City will become the champion?
I just saw 1.12/6.0 odds. Only if ManCity doesn't win (odds 5.0) and Liverpool can win (odds 1.2) then Liverpool will be champion. The gain is pretty small when betting on ManCity, but I think they will win it. Looking at the odds bookmakers see a 90-10 chance for ManCity

The other open decision is the fight for the 4th rank, even though it is also almost decided already after the loss of Arsenal. Odds are Tottenham 1.03/Arsenal 11.0.
120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - 2nd Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: May 17, 2022, 04:22:48 PM
Bookmakers see quite some potential in Hamburg, I would have thought that Hertha is the favorite in this duel by a larger margin. In the past most of the time the relegation games were won by the Bundesliga team. I also think that Hertha has an edge in this fight. Sure Hamburg is looking at a pretty successful season, but there is still a class difference between them.

I also think that Hamburg has a better chance than Hertha. Hamburg is very bad when the other team takes the initiative and attacks the ball early. But Hertha don't play like that.
When it comes to terms of statistics, they are the worst team. On average, they take the ball away from the opponent in his half 8.09 times per game.
Hamburg plays a lot through its outfield players, Hertha is weak in defensive there.
Only after free kicks Hertha is good. But is that enough?
Hm what I originally meant was that I think Hertha has a bigger chance than Hamburg  Cheesy
Looking at the statistics, the Bundesliga team won the relegation match 10 out of 13 times, only 3 times the team from the 2nd league was able to advance into the Bundesliga.
Ok, Hamburg did win these matches 2 times (as Bundesliga team), and Hertha managed to lose (as a Bundesliga team!) in 2012, but the statistics is on the side of the Bundesliga team, meaning Hertha should have a good chance.

You might be right about their playstyles, but there is still a class difference. Hertha is the favorite, the question is just: by how much?
