Die FUD Kampagne läuft auch Hochtouren   Das Ganze scheint von langer Hand geplant worden zu sein. Gestern wurden relativ plötzlich ca $100 Mio in USDC/USDT von Vires abgezogen, damit ist jetzt dort quasi das komplette Supply verliehen und die Zinsen am absoluten Anschlag und man kann aktuell nur schwierig größere Beträge abheben. Der Twitter-Fudder stellt es jetzt so dar, als ob es "keinen Weg mehr raus gäbe" und das System kurz vorm Zusammenbruch stände. So eine Aktion ist natürlich ein Stresstest für Vires und das Neutrinosystem. Die Situation ist aber auch nicht komplett neu, so etwas gab es letzten September/Oktober auch schonmal auf Vires (kann man sich leicht am historischen Verlauf der USDC/USDT Kurven anschauen). Damals hat sich die Situation nach ein paar Tagen immer wieder stabilisiert. Ein Unterschied ist, dass jetzt 5x mehr Stablecoins auf Vires liegen. Ich sehe aktuell keine Probleme, sofern: 1) man nicht sofort an sein Geld auf Vires will. Das liegt genauso sicher wie bisher und es gibt extrem gute Zinsen (105% APY) 2) Solange USDN gedeckt ist (Break even ist $15 je Waves. Waves steht bei $52) 3) Solange es keine Bugs in den Smart-Contracts in diesen extremen Situationen gibt Eine Unsicherheit ist, dass man nicht genau weiss wieviel Geld die Angreifer tatsächlich auf Vires halten. Sofern es dort noch mehr Reserven gibt die sie abziehen können, dann kann sich diese Situation länger hinziehen und der Vires Wal ist gezwungen seine Positionen zu liquidieren, weil sie zu teuer werden. Im Extremfall muss er USDN->Waves zurückswappen und Waves verkaufen. (Das ist vielleicht das Endgame der Angreifer, diese haben vermutlich Waves heftig geshortet) Ein (temporärer) Gewinner ist das Vires Token. Die Rewards je Token haben sich quasi über Nacht verdoppelt und der Virespreis hat schon die $200 angekratzt. |

It is true that Africa has very few participants. Unfortunately, in the past World Cups African teams were not able to compete with European and South American teams. I remember reading articles repeatedly before the last World Cups that now is the time for the African teams to shine, but in the end it mostly ended in disappointments and early eliminations. I hope African teams can perform better this year. I think Senegal in Group A, Moroco in F and Ghana in H might have a chance if they don't lose against their direct competitors. |

Nach dem ich mir den Threat auf Twitter durchgelesen habe, bin ich mir nicht so sicher ob hier ev jmd versucht Waves absichtlich Steine in den Weg zu legen. So selten ist das nicht unbedingt, das der eine dem anderen nichts gönnt.
Der Thread liest sich tatsächlich eher als FUD-Thread. Auf der einen Seite ist es gut auf einige Dinge hinzuweisen, aber es würde mich auch nicht überraschen wenn das von einem Team eines Konkurrenten kam. Starke Preisanstiege rufen halt auch immer viele Kritiker auf den Plan. Ob man das Ganze als Ponzischema bezeichnen kann ist vermutlich Definitionssache. Der Anbieter lockt Investoren mit besonders hohen Renditen, die er auch jedes Jahr auf dem Papier bestätigt. Tatsächlich wird er das Geld der Investoren einfach auf Konten lagern und auf deren Kosten ein luxuriöses Leben führen.
Da die Anleger mit der hohen Rendite zufrieden sind, werden sie selten Geld aus dem System abziehen. Sollte es doch dazu kommen, dass ein Anleger sein Geld ausbezahlt haben möchte, so wird ihm der Betreiber seine Anlage inklusive der Gewinne ausbezahlen. Das dafür benötigte Kapital stammt teils aus den Einzahlungen anderer Anleger. Solange die Geldzuflüsse größer sind als die Abflüsse, funktioniert das System.
Verschleierung haben wir nicht mMn, ist ja öffentlich einsehbar. wobei man natürlich nicht zu 100% die Motive des Teams oder des Wals kennt. Die anderen Punkte könnten durchaus zutreffen. Aber diese Punkte treffen genauso auf fast alle Crypto/DeFi Projekte zu. Es gibt ja auch Leute die Fiat-Geld und den ganzen Kapitalismus als Ponzi bezeichnen, und gemäss den letzten Punkten kann man nicht mal effektiv widersprechen, weil man eben nie weiss was genau in der Zukunft passiert. Wir würden ja auch eine Bankenkrise bekommen wenn morgen alle ihre Geld vom Konto abheben wollen. Alle Wirtschaftsteilnehmer wollen neue Nutzer und Kapital in Ihre Firmen/Projekte bringen und fast alle bekommen Probleme wenn langfristig Geld abfließt. |

I agree that the first two matches are interesting. Just going by FIFA ranking Peru and Costa Rica are favored to win by some margin, but it's a single knockout game an morale and motivation could be high by their opponents. Also those games will be hosted in Qatar in June. I wonder if the climate conditions will affect the teams in any way. If UAE beats Australia they could get an advantage here against Peru. New Zealand might also not be very accustomed to hot climate. |

Interessanter Thread auf jeden Fall! Danke fürs posten. Hier ein paar Gedanken dazu: Zu den Vorwürfen: In dem Thread wird dargelegt wie (anscheinend) Waves-Wale große Mengen an Waves in den Neutrino-Smart-Contract stecken um USDN zu erschaffen. (Den Neutrino SC haben wir hier in dem Thread auch schon in ziemlichen Detail diskutiert und auch diese "Teufelkreise" die dadurch entstehen können). Dieser Waves->USDN swap ist quasi ein "Verkauf" von Waves, aber "am Markt vorbei", d.h. ohne negative Auswirkungen auf die Angebotsseite (Es gibt keinen Käufer, die Waves werden einfach im SC gelagert). Die jetzt erhaltenen USDN steckt der Wal auf Vires als "Supply" und kann sich jetzt dort bis zu 90% des USDN-Wertes andere Tokens leihen (borrow), also z.B. USDC und USDT. Supply und borrow bringen bzw. kosten Zinsen. Aktuell gibt es 19% für supply von USDN und es kostet ~35% für borrow USDC/USDT. Diese Differenz sind Verluste für den Wal, also warum das Ganze? Der Wal kauft sich jetzt mit den geliehenen USDC/USDT neue Waves am Markt (auf Binance oder ähnliches) und wir sind wieder am Anfang angekommen. Was bringt das jetzt?1) Die Anzahl an Waves am Markt sinkt und deren Preis steigt. Waves "pumpt", was wir ja die letzten Wochen schön gesehen haben. 2) Es gibt mehr USDN die in Vires auf der Supply-Seite liegen 3) Es gibt eine hohe Nachfrage an USDC/USDT auf Vires, die Zinsen für diese Token sind entsprechend hoch. 4) Der Wal verliert langsam aber sicher Geld, einmal über Vires Zinszahlungen und dann noch über Swap/Exchange/Transaktionsgebühren Dieser ganze Mechanismus ist nicht neu im Crypto-Universum. Seit Jahren wirft man Tether ähnliches vor: Dass sie BTC als Sicherheit für USDT hinterlegen und dann mit den "erschaffenen" USDT am Markt BTC kaufen. Anstelle von Waves->USDN->Waves hat man da BTC->USDT->BTC. Auch LUNA/UST macht es sehr ähnlich. LUNA pumpt ja auch gerade und anscheinend kaufen sie jetzt sogar BTC mit dem erschaffenen Geld. Wie lange kann das gutgehen? Im Falle BTC/USDT geht das schon ein paar Jahre so, auch wenn nicht 100% klar ist ob es dort auch genauso abläuft. Ein wenig Wahrheit wird schon dran sein aber vielleicht nicht so extrem wie es bei Waves gerade passiert? LUNA/UST haben auch sehr schön gepumpt in den letzten Monaten und jetzt also Waves/USDN. Das Ganze System wird mMn solange funktionieren, wie Vertrauen in die Stablecoins da ist (und natürlich auch in die relevanten Smart Contracts). Im Falle von Waves im Speziellen gibt es ein "Backing Ratio" im Neutrino SC, was @spirits auch weiter oben dargelegt hat. Der Break-even point von USDN liegt aktuell bei einem Waves-Preis von ~$15, d.h. solange Waves über diesem Preis notiert sind die USDN mit "echtem Wert" gedeckt. Sollte USDN irgendwann nicht mehr gedeckt sein (das kann schnell gehen, erst Februar war der SC z.B. im Defizit) und das Vertrauen schwinden dann stehen im schlimmsten Fall am Ende die USDN Halter mit wertlosen Token da. Auch die Vires Plattform könnte dann in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden und der Wavespreis würde crashen. Ganz allgemeine Punkte: 1) Sehr schön, dass man dem "big money" so wunderbar öffentlich hinterher recherchieren kann. Das geht im "traditionellen" (=non-crypto) Markt in dieser Form nicht. Wenn also z.B. eine grosse Bank mal so mir-nicht-dir-nichts ein paar Mio oder Mrd aus dem nichts erschafft und damit irgendeinen Rohstoff- oder Aktienmarkt spekulativ hochpumpt bekommt man dass als Außenstehender zu 99.9% nicht mit. Das taucht dann am Ende nur in irgendwelchen Bilanzen als Gewinn oder Verlust auf. 2) die Kosten des Wals der diese Aktion gerade durchzieht sind schwer einzuschätzen. Vermutlich hält der Wal auch eine große Menge an Waves, so dass er zur Zeit im Pump vielleicht sogar einen Netto-Gewinn macht? Vielleicht steckt tatsächlich das Waves-Team dahinter und verbucht die Ausgaben als "Marketing", immerhin bringt es viel Publicity und neue Nutzer in das technisch einwandfreie Ökosystem was hier aufgebaut wurde? Meine aktuelle Voraussage wäre dass der Pump irgendwann aufhört und der Chart dann ähnlich wie letzten Mai aussieht, der Wavespreis gibt dann erstmal wieder deutlich nach. Man muss dann darauf schauen: wo war das Top, wie stark geht es runter (=bringt der Dump das Neutrinosystem in Gefahr?), wie viele (neue) Nutzer gibt es (=Kann das Ökosystem "organisch" wachsen?) |

My multi-bet lost with a crash!  USA lost to Costa Rica, because Costa Rica was still motivated to score as many goals as possible to theoretically get into third place in the standings... Well, I had no doubts about Canada at all! But this is football, and here often happens the unexpected...  Hehe, yeah my predictions also were totally wrong! While I wasn't to surprised about Canada losing against Panama, I didn't expect the USA to lose against Costa Rica. Costa Rica would have needed a whole ton of more goals to overtake the USA though, I don't think they had much hope that this would happen  A multibet with Panama and Costa Rica wins would have paid very well, but so is life Next time we'll have more luck |

Vergessen sollte man nicht, das mittlerweile laut Waves ein TVL von $5 Mrd besteht. (alle Protokolle zusammengenommen), laut defillama 4,39 Mrd (hier scheint der Wert von Vires noch nicht aktuell zu sein).
Kurze Anmerkung: Defillama rechnet anders als Vires was die TVL angeht. Defillama addiert alle Supplies und subtrahiert die Debts (in der Default option) und landet bei $1.2b. Man kann auch die "Borrows" in den Anzeigeoptionen aktivieren, dann werden die Debts nicht subtrahiert und es stimmt mit der Vires-Rechnung überein ($1.8b). Vires ist aktuell sehr profitabel mit $86k Verdienst pro Tag. Sollte der Wert da bleiben dann sehen wir wohl in Kürze die $200 je Vires Token. Wenn man die eingelagerten WAVES auf die bestehende Menge USDN rechnet liegt die Defizit Grenze mittlerweile bei $14,35 (gerechnet mit dem Neutrino Protocol).l Vor dem Preisanstieg (24.02) lag diese bei ca. $10- 10.50, da sie durch das verbrennen der USDN leicht nach oben anstiegen ist

Ich hoffe auch das der Wavespreis jetzt nicht gleich wieder zusammenfällt wie letzten Mai (oder in einen Bärenmarkt übergeht wie Oktober-Januar). Der Chart sieht aber leider sehr ähnlich aus wie letzten April bis jetzt  Zusätzlich gab es früher vor den Lambo Investment das sogenannte Algorithmic Trading. Mit der Option Conservative, Moderate oder Agressive. Conservative war um die 30%, Moderate war um die 100% und Aggressive um die 150%. Da hatte ich investiert und im nächsten Monat könnte ich mir das steuerfrei auszahlen lassen. Bisher habe ich noch nicht geschaut und lasse mich mal überraschen. Hmm, das könnte für dich leider eine Enttäuschung werden. Die Algo Token sind nicht sehr gut gelaufen. Ich hab das nicht so im Detail verfolgt, aber Einzahlungen wurden irgendwann suspendiert. Poland currently is 28th in the FIFA ranking, they will likely end up in pot 3 for the group draw, meaning that it is very likely that they will have 2 stronger teams in their group. Only the 2 best out of the 4 teams per group will advance to the K.O. rounds. Based on this it strongly depends in which group Poland ends up and how they perform against the (on paper) "stronger" teams. Possible groups could be with Brazil and Netherlands (bad for Poland) OR Portugal and Switzerland (rather doable) With some luck Poland could also end up in Group A with Qatar (which is set in pot 1), then they would have very good chances to survive the group stage. |

Prinzipiell würde ich https://Vires.Finance empfehlen, da man dort Gestaktes sofort wieder herausnehmen kann, ohne zwei Wochen warten zu müssen. - Neutrino Staking: vermutlich am aller einfachsten. USDN einzahlen und jeden Tag kommen die Zinsen direkt auf deine Adresse. Zinsen schwanken realistisch so zwischen 5-10%. Aktuell sind sie >10% wegen dem hohen Wavespreis, das muss aber nicht so bleiben.
- Neutrino Pools: habe ich mich nicht mit beschäftigt, sieht im Vergleich zum Staking aber nicht sehr attraktiv aus?
- USDT/USDC LP Staking: hat wie gesagt 2 Wochen Frist zum abheben (alternativ kannst du die LP token auch auf der Waves.Exchange verkaufen, aber die Liquidität ist sehr gering, da muss man dann einen Abschlag hinnehmen). Ausserdem ist nicht ganz klar in was hier investiert wird und wie hoch die Risiken wirklich sind. Vorteil: es ist ein eigenes Token und (vermutlich?) nach 1 Jahr steuerfrei.
- Lambo Investments: Ähnlich wie LP Staking, nur das hier noch viel weniger klar ist wo und in was dein Geld eigentlich angelegt ist. Die 60% sind auch sehr optimistisch, in den vergangenen 12 Monaten gab es ca +43% (was immer noch sehr gut ist). Hier kann der Preis auch (bis zu 10%) fallen.
- Vires: Hat die Einfachheit des Neutrino Stakings, und es gibt immer noch hohe Zinsen. Die Zinsen könnten sich in Zukunft aber auch an andere Lendingplattformen angleichen und fallen. Costa Rica vs USA is a similar situation, Costa Rica is pretty strong at home and the USA not the best in their away games. Except there is still something at stake here: USA could play for the 1st rank (even though there is no real use for it, but it might be a matter of pride to surpass Canada?) and Costa Rica still has a theoretical chance for the 3rd rank, even though it's unlikely that Mexico will lose vs El Salvador. There were some pretty ugly scenes after the Senegal and Egypt match yesterday. I saw a short clip on Twitter showing Senegal fans storming onto the pitch trying to attack Salah. He also had cups and drinks thrown at him as he was leaving the pitch after the defeat. I didn't watch the match, so I don't know the reasons behind it all. Is it just due to a rivalry between the two nations or did Salah do or say anything to kind of justify such (unfair) treatment? He doesn't seem like the type to do something like that to me.

This is shameful and pretty shocking, I hope that something will be done to prevent scenes like this in the future! Reading further into the article, it seems that Nigeria vs Ghana also had their share of "fan" violence. I hope we won't see things like that at the World Cup. Every team and all fans deserve a fair and respectful treatment to enjoy the sport |

There were a lot of unexpected result in yesterday matches, the most surprised one was Nigeria versus Ghana, after the whole efforts from Nigerian government and NFF, Nigeria players still prove incompetent. I think the coach should be sacked.
It definitely is a disaster for the Nigerian team to miss the qualification, I also think there will be some consequences. Nigeria participated in 6 out of the last 7 World Cups, so missing the World Cup is a pretty big thing. Of course Ghana was an opponent on the same level, but after their disappointment at the Africa Cup Nigeria was probably counting on the qualification. |

Portugal knew what was at stake, and having watched Italy get eliminated by the visitors, did not take them lightly. The decision proved a smart one, as North Macedonian were gritty in their approach and rarely committed any mistakes. Portugal looked like the better team from the starting whistle. They knew that North Macedonia had a similar game plan against them as they had in their 1-0 win over Italy. They let the Portugal have the possession and defended well, and later come to bite on the counter. One major difference in this game was that Portugal were more potent in their attacks and North Macedonia struggled on the counters. I think North Macedonia wasn't a flop, it was just meant to be. Portugal was destined to play at Qatar 2022.
It was clear from the beginning how that game would go. Macedonia trying to "copy" their Italy game (defending and counter-attacking) and Portugal trying to learn from Italy's mistakes and trying to score at least one goal to avoid getting caught by surprise. Such games are never easy for the (on paper) "stronger" team as they know what the stakes are. But Portugal did well and a better job than Italy. On the one hand I am sad that we didn't get to see the Portugal vs Italy play-off game, but on the other hand happy that Portugal made it. It's gonna be an interesting World Cup |

From today's matches, in my opinion, the Uruguay - Peru match looks to be the most interesting. Both teams are fighting for a place awarded with direct promotion to the World Cup. If they win, Uruguay will be practically sure of this advance. I believe the hosts will not miss this opportunity and will beat the Peru team.
Uruguay won the game and that means the top4 ranks are settled: Brazil, Argentina, Ecuador and Uruguay are qualified. Ecuador lost against Paraguay, but can't be overtaken anymore by Peru or Colombia. The fight for the 5th rank is still open between Peru, Colombia and Chile. All 3 teams have "doable" games (i.e. not against Brazil or Argentina ) If Peru wins against Paraguay next Wednesday then everything is decided. So this is also settled now: Peru won 2-0 against Paraguay. They managed to maintain their early lead and to keep their sheet clean throughout the game. Colombia also won, but due to the win of Peru they weren't able to overtake them in the standings. Peru will have to play against the winner of the game UAE vs Australia for the qualification of one of the last remaining spots. Peru will go as a favorite into that game. A sad day for Nigeria and Egypt. And it’s hard to say for whom it’s sadder - for Egypt, which had an advantage after the first game and eventually lost in the lottery to Senegal (as well as in the African Cup final) or for Nigeria, which lost because of the “away goal” rule, which is gradually dying out everywhere. It is a pity that Salah will not go to the World Cup, and I am increasingly convinced that the system for selecting African teams is fundamentally unfair.
It is a sad day for those teams. But it would have been equally sad for Ghana or Senegal if it had been a different outcome. I think they should overthink their qualification rules in Africa. Of course it happens also in Europe that for instance Italy doesn't qualify, but this is kind of their own fault by playing inconsistently over a longer period of time. In Africa it all comes down to the final K.O. game, independent how well a team has played throughout the qualification. Qualified are: 1. Cameroon
2. Senegal
3. GHANA
4. Morocco
5. Tunisia
But having said all that, I think all of the teams have deserved their qualification. Egypt and Nigeria might be (on paper) stronger than for instance Cameroon and Tunisia, but we saw in the Africa cup that the "weaker" teams can beat the better ones on a good day (Tunisia vs Nigeria) |

With less than 20 minutes on the game and with 2 goals to 0 for Portugal, I think the game is ended right now and the president of North Macedonia should not show his face again to Portuguese after saying that his team will beat them  In the other game, Lewandowski 1 - 0 Sweden Portugal safely made it (well 10 minutes left here) and Ronaldo now can have his (probably) last World Cup participation. Entertainment is guaranteed now Poland vs Sweden... yea, it's like as predicted, Lewandowski scores (ok, it was "only" a penalty, but he did it ) and Poland will win. They lead now 2-0 with only 15minutes left, so Sweden looks eliminated at this moment. |
