203  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we should fear a cashless world on: June 28, 2017, 07:58:47 AM
Poor people and small businesses rely on cash. A contactless system will likely entrench poverty and pave the way for terrifying levels of surveillance

Discussion
Cashless society is not possible. But having decentralized system is possible. And bitcoin best fit this cashless society.
204  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: June 28, 2017, 05:51:50 AM
Does anyone have any idea how many people are using gold as a store of value vs btc?  And how long do you think until we have the same user Base as holders of gold?
Better to hold BTC than gold. It is easy to earn than gold.
205  Economy / Economics / Re: What will happen if we use a one currency only? on: June 28, 2017, 05:50:32 AM
[Edited to make it more understandable question]
What if all nation use only a one currency or one global currency?, What will happen to our world?, What is the effect of every nation's or every country economy?, It can make people's unite each other?Any opinion. Cheesy
There is no need to have one kind od currency. You can convert it to another anyway. But that would be hard to imagine.
206  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Kung may isang milyong piso ka... on: June 28, 2017, 05:44:52 AM
207  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: June 28, 2017, 05:38:51 AM
Andrew Haldane said one solution would be for the Bank of England to issue a state-backed digital currency based on bitcoin. Supporting this initiative would be a negative interest rate levied on paper currency relative to the digital currency, with these measures do you think there is more possibilities that sometime:

Paper money will be banned entirely?
How long do you think that happens?
would it work?
What security and privacy risks would it raise?
And how would public and privately issued monies interact?

Paper money will never vanish in a slow developing country. Paper money is essential for every people. It is more easy to use and people are used on having this. On the other hand, the future currency maybe not require paper money in the future. Developed countries are potential on doing this. Specifically, bitcoin may be a predominant means of having wealth.
208  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: (NEWBIE) Questions ko TULONG NAMAN OH on: June 28, 2017, 04:42:59 AM

Pwede ka kumita ng more than 10,000 a month. Good luck, at basa basa din pag may time.
209  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin provide income on line? on: June 28, 2017, 04:30:52 AM
many of my friends did not work but a lot of money away was great when compared, to me that is still working in the factory, I was confused from where producer obtained from bitcoin?
You can earn bitcoin through signature campaign. You just need to sell your knowledge, effort and skills. It will not really consume your whole time, because you just need to follow the required post. Probably, you can earn 10,000 pesos a month minus your internet bill. This is is not so bad on line job. Stay focus and just read more in this forum.
210  Economy / Economics / Re: How to TAX Bitcoin. An easy way ! on: June 28, 2017, 03:50:29 AM
In my country, I have to fill a form every year for the tax department, including my year end bank statement and the salary bill.
Together with some major bills for insurance and healthcare, that's all they get.

So I can hide cash under the bed, or have an overseas account, or have some Gold bars, etc. The goverment has to thrust me quite a bit.
They can check some transfers, but if you like to hide it, you can do it.

So the actual way of getting the real numbers is quite bad.

In Bitcoin
If the Tax department makes it a rule by law, that you have to report every BTC address you own, or every wallet you own ...

All problems solved, because then the Department has also the addresses of the petrol station and the deli you spend money.
In no time the system knows which tax counts here and can claim the respective amount from both sides.

Sure it is still possible to hide Bitcoins, but then it is illegal.

...or did I miss something?
Taxing bitcoin is hard. One can evade tax without the notice of the Government. Simply just have multiple address. Evading tax in bitcoin is really easy, even though its illegal the government has nothing to do with it. Only dumb people can be caught. This is one of the main feature of bitcoin, no one can control over yout earnings  not even the government.

212  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 27, 2017, 10:57:23 PM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
it is better to save your money if you are not willing to lose it. investment is unpredictable, I suggest that if you are thinking to invest, just invest your extra money and have no expectation. But in bitcoin there is a big potential of big return of investment. just save while investinng. Saving and Investing is incomparable.
213  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: June 27, 2017, 10:21:30 PM
After the events of last week.

I was making this suggestion to some folks yesterday, but they claimed that bitcoin is too small.  Does it matter?
Bitcoin is not the strongest currency but can be the predominant means of wealth storage. Bitcoin is valuable, and has the potential to be the best currency because of its unique features. It has to be develop over time.
214  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: June 27, 2017, 10:02:27 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .
Yes, it could be a good way of investment. Bitcoin value is unpredictable, if you are willing to lose money, do it so. But remember that, you should invest just your extra money. Its a good investment while we're young. Everyone hope that we will not lose money, be wise while investing.
215  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin reduces unemployment on: June 27, 2017, 12:32:57 PM
I think in the presence of bitcoin will reduce unemployment, because searching for bitcoin also requires hard work and creativity, and competitiveness in bitcoin is also high almost similar to work in the real world

What is your opinion this time?
There will be still unemployed but the unemployed may come to think to have earnings Online and In-house. If bitcoin craze will be continuously hitting, there will be more Self employed. And yes, this will cause the reduction of unemployed. There is no way a person cannot earn anymore. With the use of effort , time ,skills and knowledge it is possible that bitcoin is the future hope of unemployment.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Freedom on: June 27, 2017, 11:52:14 AM
Freedom from the control of anyone to our wealth. Government is thinking how to stop this bitcoin craze, and this government action only proves that bitcoin is important and has something to say. This never happen for the many past years, who can say that it is possible to have a virtual money which we can receive and transfer from any part of the world without the intervention of government. Indeed, freedom starts here!
217  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bumagsak si bitcoin on: June 27, 2017, 08:34:55 AM
218  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin improve the economy of a country? on: June 27, 2017, 07:51:52 AM
Bitcoin could not be a big help for a country, the Government has no benefit at all. But bitcoin could help people earn money which could help someone to potentially get rich. it can improve the distribution of wealth among the people, which in a way improves the economy. Countries that are corrupt does not benefit this, because they could not get any tax from the users. It benefit most the people for it allows them to ear money outside the system through selling their knowledge and time to the internet which allows them to get paid.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 21, 2017, 04:31:48 AM
Cash can be used anytime and anywhere you go. You wont need internet or go online for you to use cash. But still bitcoin cannot be compared to cash because it has different features.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's still really hard to use bitcoin as a regular currency on: June 21, 2017, 02:52:53 AM
There has to be a system that can accommodate bitcoin as mode of payment and transaction. If not, it will be really hard to implement it as a regular currency. Since bitcoin is nonvolatile. And bitcoin has to be accepted first in a country in order it to be considered as a regular currency.
