my zecminer crashes only in a 380 rig, someone with the same problem?
My 6 R9 390 rig crashes severely on all cards. The same type of cards on mixed rigs work flawlessly! The 390 rig works perfectly with other miners (Claymore ETH, XMR, Silentarmy5) and with significantly fewer crashes on ZEC versions 3-4. I am considering replacing driver 15.12 with the lastest 16.10 or 16.11.

i have experienced high cpu (i3) usage 100% when mining on 4x 1070 Nvidia's OpenCL drives implement busy waiting which leads to 100% core utilization per instance. I have changes that work on Linux, https://github.com/mbevand/silentarmy/pull/60 I don't know what is status of them being ported to Windows. My Windows port includes a modified version of your patch, which seems to be working fine. Actually, it works for my 280x, but doesn't work for my r9 390 cards (and for other forum members 380 cards) , while Genoil miner works for all.

Finally, working miner for my 390 cards! Thank you!

I installed cygwin and followed the instructions for windows. It worked for my 280x cards but not for 390 cards. Any ideas?
It's probably due to driver issues...280x uses different driver than 390...please use GPU-Z to find if there are driver issues. I have no driver issues. The cards work perfect with claymore miner. P.S. I got the same message after waiting 6-7 min as the above post.

V3.1 stable on all machines except one, which is a 7 card rig. Few minutes in one of the GPU's ( always at index 1) would report 0 sols/s, the watchdog will restart the miner, and "Desplay driver stopped working, has recovered" error pops up, and then the system just crashes. Some people pointed out that it could be a riser issue, but I've tried isolating the faulty card by running each card on its own thread, and they work fine. Its only if I run one instance of claymore's with all 7 cards that this problem occurs. I've tried moving from modded bios to stock, different driver versions, and this keeps happening still. Any clues?
The same thing here. I got all rigs except 1 working with v. 2.1-3.1 with -i 2. The problematic rig has 6 R9 390 which work about 20 min with 60-ish sols (and over 1% rejected shares) then 1 card stops. Curiously, with -i 0 there is no problem and the cards give 70-75 sols! I tried everything but it is not the card nor the riser.

The best pool for zcash? I am already with flypool.
Maybe try https://zec.suprnova.cc - best support, ocminer is also in slack I don't like suprnova pools since their site is buggy and the hashrate is 20% less than other pools. Similarly, nanopool is giving 15% less not only in ZEC but in ETH and ETC compared to the best pools. Currently I am using flypool and for now I get the best results both in local hashrate and in their statistics. May be 15-20% better at least for the past 24 hours. I will test coinmine if the hashrate drops. I wish dwarfpool had zec, there the ETH hashrate is nearly the same as my local hashrate...

As someone mentioned before, this coin has become a mine and dump coin. With the latest huge drop in price the profits are almost equal to ETC now. Although Zec is still not present ( ) in http://www.whattomine.com/coins, for my small home farm of 280x and 390's (1200 sols/s) this is the reality. If we as a community do not learn how to care for our coins, sooner or later our profits will be gone. I mean, every time the pools pay to the miners there is a rush to fill the buy book in poloniex. I am not saying that we should wait too long but there is a way to sell in small portions with a minimal negative impact on the price. I do not consider myself as a good trader but I managed to doble my Zec profits selling during the spikes and not affecting the price in a negative way at all. Just a food for thought while squeezing another sols from your cards Very good miner by the way. I don't have any issues with it at all! P.S. In http://www.whattomine.com/coins now and then appears UTC on top - currently 3.5$ profit for 280x. I am afraid, however, that this coin is in danger of delisting in Bittrex and the buy offers are pretty small.

Which is the latest stable Radeon driver both for ETH and Zec? I am still using 15.12 but with the genoil Zec miner the sols from R9 390 are around 20 - less than my 280x which are around 30 sols.

After 2 days of fighting with the "bugs" of Supernova ZEC pool, I came to the conclusion that this pool is a big scam! First, they selectively pay to someone, and to others don't pay at all. The balance is ''unconfirmed" for 2 days!!! Second, their site is down every couple of seconds (literally) pretedning to be upgrading, thus preventing users to control what is going on. And third, most of the workers are "unauthorized" which leads to hashing for someone else's profit. From my 50 workers, only 2 are 'authorised' to work and the shares are accepted. I don't see any confirmed balance on these workers either! I believe that this is an outrageous scam robbery!!!!

Claymore, could you add the option (like the eth miner) "-r 1" closes miner and execute "reboot.bat" file in the miner directory if some GPU failed? Thanks!
