I don't think anybody should follow your investment "tips". Buying high and selling low is not how you make money. If you're only here to make a quick buck, chances are you're going to lose a lot of money. All the money has to come from somewhere, you know. For ever person making money, there is one who's losing. There is no magic involved.

This is a real cryptocurrency with people working hard to create a foundation for it to increase in actual, fundamental value.
Our team keeps growing, talented and creative people from various backgrounds are joining. Because they see we are for real.

While it's true that many people just come in this thread, demand this and that but don't take ANY positive action themselves, I suspect there's something else going on here.

Attention, at the moment, is on other coins, the recent coins of the day.

The Hirocoin Promotion Challenge is the marketing push.

I'm talking to some big Hirocoin holders right now about donating to the prize pot, i think it might be a bit to small right now to attract a lot of partcipants.

The prize pot is now 76555.55 HIRO, worth 0.77 BTC.

I'm surprised not to see a lot of attention for this yet, 0.77 BTC is no small change. At this point ANYONE could take that prize, since there is no competition.

I've just been approached by someone who wants to make a 3d video together with a friend, that could be interesting. I'm going to use GM's feedback for content.

I'm not unhappy with the first video. It's meant to get our mission across, and what we stand for, as well as promote brand awareness.

Welcome to the Hirocoin Promotion Challenge !    
These are the goals of this challenge :

• To increase Hirocoin brand awareness
• To get investors and miners more interested in Hirocoin
• To draw in more talented people to the Hirocoin Development Community

This is going to be a massive marketing push fueled by the crowd, an awesome force multiplier.

Participants will compete to win a huge Hirocoin prize, donated by the community. The prize pot will likely keep growing until the challenge ends.

The prize will be awarded to the person who impresses us the most with the effect of his efforts. If something goes viral, that will almost certainly win, as a successful viral campaign is the holy grail of marketing.
Hard work or creative use of material also has a high likelihood of paying off.

What kind of promotion, stunt or  campaign is used is entirely up to you. You can use any medium you like, social media, video, music, art, forums, etc.

Joeri Pross manages the prize pot and is personally responsible for the Hirocoins in it. All coins will be used for this challenge, and if for any reason the challenge is cancelled, all coins will be returned to their respective donors.

So don't worry, the current price of Hirocoin says nothing about it's future. It's just a snapshot.

Coins that don't survive price fluctuations are the coins that are only there to make the creators rich ! The creators lose interest after a dump and start a new coin. We are not like that. You have nothing to fear.

It's the best looking altcoin video ever made, and is going to raise some eyebrows for sure.

I don't want this opportunity to get massive buzz going for Hirocoin to go to waste, so I'd like everyone to post their best idea to get the most views !

Here are is my ideas :

A lottery : people can enter the contest by posting a link to the video at a place where many people see, and report this to us via email. We make a list of good entries, and take a winner at random who wins a large amount of Hirocoins

What's your suggestion ? It has to be cost effective, not break any rules, and get the video the most views it can possibly get.
