Feel free to ask for beta acces to PhenixEx on the forums. The link is in my sig ! Like I said, more info will be posted here when it comes available. You can find all the facts here in this thread, from either my posts or those from JohnCar and Iamatrix.

It is so silent here lately... What is going on guys? The price goes down constantly, no news from you/devs, is it the beginning of the end? Or maybe some mirracle will happen?
Hi jjodwald There has been little news to report the last five days. I understand this feels like an eternity to the altcoin comunity Rest asured, Iamatrix is working hard to complete PhenixExchange and UNOCS Bridge, as well as a patch for PXC itself. John Mangliaviti ( UNOCS ) has been to the bitcoin convention and has made a lot of new contacts and has been promoting UNOCS as well as the individual coins. The quote from John, three posts up, is still relavant. Keep watching this thread for updates ! Kind regards, Joerii

With the difficulty adjustment of version 6.4.9, Phenixcoin is excited about looking forward to integrating the feedback we’ve received from our community. We understand your concerns, your voice is heard loud and clear. Our upcoming release will reduce the reward by half, provide 51% checkpointing protection and integrate new features directly into the Phenix wallet. As we continue developing the Phenixcoin, we also turn our attention toward the upcoming releases of UNOCS Bridge and the Phenix Exchange. We understand that the best way we can protect your investment is to add premium services which utilize your coin. We take that responsibility to heart; we can’t wait for our community to enjoy these new platforms. Finally, we’ve asked our UNOCS partner JustaBitofTime to assist us with development and strategic planning. He’s been a strong leader for the Feathercoin community and we look forward to him providing that same level of support to our talented community leaders at Phenixcoin. His new role is an advisor for all 3 partner coins, we couldn’t be happier to utilize his experience. If you haven’t had a chance to read his NYC Bitcoin Report, I encourage you do so now. He’s committed to helping us gain the same mainstream exposure and opportunities. https://forum.feathercoin.com/index.php?topic=3130.0Thank you for joining us on this journey, we hear you loud and clear. Thanks John

Exciting. Can't wait to see what will happen when merchants and services start accepting PXC through the Bridge. This makes it all much easier, paving the path for mass adoption.

I've organised a team of friendly and highly motivated guys to act as spokesmen for PXC and promote it's use ( here on bitcointalk and the rest of the internet and the outside world )
-MaGNeT -nawazish1 -torzsy -JeanCool
They speak for Phenixcoin. Feel free to PM them if you have any questions or suggestions relating to Phenix services like Phenixpoker or PhenixSafetrade.
Also a fresh update : our ISP is installing new hardware for the UNOCS Bridge server. Penetration testing will commence after that. We'll keep you posted.

How do I find out if the PSU is damaged ? Is there a test to run ?
|
|
|
Start from the most obvious, to the least.
Remove everything from the mobo that is not required... everything.
Check each component by one by one until it stops responding or responds in a negative way, error codes (beeps) etc.
Start with that and let us know.
Well, if there was any power that would be a fine suggestion. Nothing is going to beep, there is no feedback. But since nothing is happening, would it not make sense to asume the PSU is messed up ? I'd plug in another one if I had one.

I build my first rig in april using TacoTime's excellent guide https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=163306.0 which I followed to the letter. It worked great, until yesterday. It had shut off, with a faint smell of burned plastic ( uh oh ). I inspected in for molten power connectors, but didn't see any. The risers also look fine. I checked the wall plug, it still has juice. The first time I hit the power button on the mobo, it lit up for a second and then refused to light up again. Since the system isn't even considering booting up, and I see no damage to cables or the motherboard, I fear the PSU itself has given up the ghost. Can you guys find any faults with this logic ? Did I miss a step ? Also : how can I check the PSU for problems ? Please try not to kill me by suggesting anything dangerous, lol.

The ability to trade PXC and other coins for USD will be added as soon as possible. Our lawyers are working on all the required documentation.

PXC team has always been nothing but promises, apologies and failed deliveries...
They keep hyping all these die hard PXC believers hopes up all the time, but never bring anything to the table... what a waste, pxc is dying.

Interesting idea. Always nice to see new altcoin related services !

Everything is uber cool and programmers are working day and night to bring projects to us ! Seriously ; we're aware that the block explorer is down, I've asked Iamatrix to take a look at it. He's very busy working on UNOCS Bridge right now though, which has a higher priority. Poker works fine at my end by the way, could you PM me some details about your problem PicassoRoll ? I'm not going to give any release date/time on UNOCS Bridge, we made a mistake the first time making promises, a mistake that we won't repeat

Well, imitation is the highest form of flattery. I'm sure you can be forgiven your faux pas, but it will be easier if you stop attacking us PXC dudes. We're actually a friendly bunch, why don't you drop by on the Phenix forums ? Link is in my sig.

You. Already explained the delays many times. Trolling in this case is to keep trying to make us look bad. EDIT : and you stole this guy's name : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=114800.... just to troll us ? I suggest you find something better to do with your free time. Take up a hobby or something. I heard 3D printing is fun ! Enjoy mate !
