I don't understand why this coin never went anywhere when so many shitcoins did.

You mean : I bought 100k of this coin and I'm disappointed it didn't take off.

My colleague Henk-Jan is mining PXC at pxc.allpoolz.com because I told him it's gonna be big!
But I guess Coinchoose is making him nervouse right now and he wasn't lucky before, sold his BTC at 5 Dollar...  Roll Eyes

Send a few PXC to his address if you can spare! Grin Guess he won't understand where they come from Grin Even 0.01 PXC would be funny Grin

Ok here is some straight up talk here right from the horses mouth.... To those who think the coin is dieing think what you want. Been going around
reading the different post from all the websites i have seen it all. This does not phase me one bit. When we decided to do our own coin we had mapped out a game plan for a year down the road. Now when we launched the feedback was much more then we expected and the crypto coin community is a lot bigger then we imagined. We are 10 times were we wanted to be since we launched. All we wanted to was to start the branding process. We were no were expecting for our coin to be asked to be put on a exchange for at least another 3-6 months.

"The poker site is broken" been seeing this everywhere. The part of the site that is broken is the freerolls the cash games actually work fine. We will
be taking down the freerolls for 48 hours to address this is issues and get it fixed finally. The authenticator will be removed from phenixpoker.com to many people having issues using it from there end or just don't understand it. We use it on our other projects no problem but it is what it is.

I get asked a lot why don't you reply to these guys when they say"pxc is a scam coin" As soon as you address someone that makes then relevant.
Now don't get me wrong i can take constructive criticism and like to learn and get feedback but flat out trolls i do not feed.

Also i get asked "why are you not more active on the boards" Well between the emails, private messages and phone calls i can not be on the boards
24/7. We are new in the community so it takes time to build relationships and strategic partnerships.

There are a lot of guys jumping all over all these new currency's everyday just to make a quick profit. Those guys we are not concerned about. The part of the community that we are concerned with is the true supporters of PXC. We are long term thinking business men. We have a game plan and we are sticking to it. Those who join us on our journey will profit nicely. Those who mine a little bit just to flip to to make a couple of dollars will look
back kick there self's in the ass. We have $xxx, xxx amount to invest into PXC and all the time we need. The alt crypto wars have started!

It's nice to hear from you but you havn't actually given us anything, except that freerolls are going to be fixed.

Why not share a little bit more of the plans you and Mike have made ? You planned a year down the road ? All we know is that a concept for a casino exists, and that an exchange is planned.

What I would really like to know is how you plan to make PXC more relavant. Right now I could just play poker on the site with LTC , right ?

What makes PXC disireable ?

I have a nice ammount and I'm hanging on to it, but you're not selling it very well.

1231  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets get PXC on Bigger Exchanges on: June 01, 2013, 08:59:26 PM
Would it not make a greater impression on the people running these exchanges if someone would write their OWN letter ? Doesn't that show a bit more commitment ?

OK, i'm not getting payments of 10 EZC per payout, while it was 100 a few hours ago. Is that the special payment blocks running out ?
We're now getting 10x less reward ?

1239  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Rewritting code and some ideas... on: June 01, 2013, 01:09:55 PM
Hi.
I just wanted ask for opinion and reasons. I guess everybody applied the rule "if it works dont touch it" but looking at the code, i just hate everything i see (i am working with C++ for 8 years already)
I think it is a real problem in bitcoin/litecoin/ppcoin/***coin and i was thinking about work on it... but before starting i wanna save time asking to the ones were checking the code already.

I think it is possible to take out dependencies of bitcoin and delete millions of globals used on it, clarify and simplify lot of things. Using Qt i think there is no sense to use boost and openssl. If i am wrong or u think it would take too much time, just answer "dont try it". Cleaning the app of SHIT would make lot easier to port it to android/iphone, now that Qt is going to work there (it is already)

I just know any static code analyzer would say the whole program is a shit, and all these is just making too complicated something should be easy. All this is because i want to make an experiment adding a learning algorithm to decide reward/difficult/fee
using as input:
reward
difficult
fee
time from last found block
nš transactions
selectable vote applied to transactions/mining so people can decide how happy they are.

And try to maximize this last parameter.

Other idea i didnt see.... but i am quite sure it exists already (or should), is a way to print notes that can be charged to a wallet using the mobile.

thx for your time.

Are you asking : "Should I optimise the code to make porting easier ?"

Who would say no to that Smiley
1240  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [EZC] EZCoin Information Thread on: June 01, 2013, 01:07:43 PM
I'm getting a 50% invalid share rate at Tyrion's pool. Is that normal because of low difficulty or should I add some parameters to the .bat file for cgminer ?

What's your scan/expiry times? I'm currently using 5 seconds. Queue 0.

I didn't add those settings.

What are the parameters again ?

-s 5 -E 1, right ?

Yes, and you can add -Q 0

You can also set it from the UI under the Settings menu.

Play with those values until you get something that works best for your latency/hash rate/network hash rate/etc.

Nice. much better already !
