761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] [PXC] Development Takeover on: October 01, 2013, 05:22:07 PM
Ghostlander and I already agreed to cooperate on the resurrection of Phenixcoin.
We smoked a virtual peace pipe and decided that it would be very good to work together instead of splitting up the community by competing.

The relations I build up as the community leader for PXC are intact. We sticked together in good times and in bad. MaGNeT, Torzsy, Jeancool, Nawazish, all very cool and smart guys. Plus there are people in the background who are lending a hand in an unofficial manner. I'm mainly looking at the awesome guys at FTC.

I'm in Skype with Mike right now, after three weeks of no contact. He's signing over the domains and github to me, I'll hand them over to Ghostlander. Mike says he's busy right now sending coins back to people. We'll see.

My intentions are to keep leading the PXC community. As those who know me can attest : I'm a leader but not the BOSS Smiley

Now that John and Mike have stepped down, I'll do things a bit differently. 100% transparently and in a democratic way. That also means that if the majority thinks I should step down, I will.

48h and still no reports of refunds

maybe he is really BFL and what it translates to is you might get your coins one day wen I can be bothered and run out of excuses and then only send out a few coins

Disastrus said he's been payed.

I havn't. Still waiting for my 10 btc and 16k WDC

I would have hoped that they would pay out the supporters first as you have been helping them for a couple of months now

That wouldn't be right though. It's money, there should not be any favoritism. Everyone deserves to get everything back.

I think the whole point of this post was to confirm your coins are gone and to essentially rub it in.

Then why would he promise to send refunds ? If he wanted to rub it in he could have posted " So long suckers !!!" Wink

Joerii, how are you still in belief of anything they say?  Didn't they burn you for thousands of dollars as well as play you to do their PR work?

I burned myself for thousands of dollars Smiley Not blaming anyone.

Sure, I don't trust Mike very much anymore, but John is my friend.
If he says he's gonna take care of it, I believe him until proven otherwise. If he really is screwing me, I have made an error in judgement of epic proportions. Not impossible, but very unlikely. Hence, I'm not too worried.

Joerii,

John hasn't posted in this thread.  Only Mike.

PhenixEx belongs to John. Mike and John have been real life friends for eight years.
Since PhenixEx belongs to John, he's responsible for what happens to the funds on it. If Mike doesn't pay, he'll have to pay out of his own pocket. That's what I'm going to suggest if Mike hasn't payed at the end of monday.

I don't think a internet friend or a real life friend is very different. What is friendship, really ? Feeling close to someone, having shared good times and bad. My best friend, whom I've known for 16 years, is someone I've met on the internet.
And real life friends have betrayed me before ( once ) so it doesn't matter so much.

Rising from the ash??
Serious??
You have to be kidding...

Says the "massive dildo" salesman Cheesy

Actually, I still have an ace up my sleeve, but we'll see how that plays out.
¨

I feel much more dignified with promoting massive dildos now, then Phenixex refferals earlier.

Touchee ! Well played sir Cheesy

I love it. Come at me!! I'm glad I am getting a reaction from you idiots who trusted in PXC <snip>

That's a very typical NWO reaction. Spoken like a true troll.

I know you have a mature and polite side too, though. We have had a PM conversation a few months ago in which I expressed interest in a service you were working for DGC.

Seems like now you are only using this forum as a platform to vent your frustration and anger. What you need is a girlfriend ( or boyfriend ) , not " reactions from fools who support PXC". Make love dude, not war.

Your behaviour drags us all down.

Yep. Thanks.
771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPOSING PHENIXCOIN: The hype and possible scam on: September 28, 2013, 04:24:48 AM
Your tone startles me, sir. Who are you ? Am I under arrest ? Do I need to call my lawyer ? Wink

Your first question hits the nail on the head. Bad communication with the devs is the biggest problem we had. MaGNeT and I were doing our best providing support but there's only so much we could do. I don't know why we don't hear from Mike sometimes for many days. Maybe he's busy snorting cocaine from some lady's buttocks, maybe he's on a secret mission in Syria, maybe he's off inventing a new kind of chocolate. Fuck knows. He says he's having personal issues, but aren't we all ?

Second question. Unkown, hard to track down bugs. The coins aren't stuck, per se, they are just not being moved by Mike, who was absent and is, supposedly, moving them now. The coding that was in place must have had some kind of fault. I'm the one with the most coins stuck, so believe me, this question has been in my mind too. I'll let you guys know the second I get my 10 BTC.

Third question. Why do you think PXC was dumped by insiders ? That's pure speculation. What also could have happened is that a big holder was bribed to dump his PXC at a loss, simply to make PXC look bad. Payed by another coin dev, for example. We can never know. What I do know is that most of the big PXC holders STILL hold all their coins. We havn't dumped. I personally have 200k, and am not planning on selling them until they are worth a dollar per coin Smiley  Am I tripping ? Am I delusional ? Time will tell

Iamatrix is gone, yes. But PXC is a very stable coin now, thanks to the collaboration with Bushtar. It uses the same difficulty adjustment scheme as FTC, and it's working very well. I don't think we need Mike anymore, what he left is working great. ( the coin, that is ) We are going to need a new dev when for some reason PXC needs an update though.

772  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammer tag request pxc devs on: September 28, 2013, 02:44:14 AM
NWO has been on a slander campaign for two months now. He's not interested in the truth, only in making people look bad. A bully.
773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPOSING PHENIXCOIN: The hype and possible scam on: September 28, 2013, 02:39:51 AM
PXC was not a scam. What it was is a series of failures. This I admit.
That was not a pretty read, but I am glad that at least you are man enough to admit it. I lost money on PXC and WDC, both of which I cared little before the UNOCS fiasco.

Wont kick you when you are down, so good luck for the future. It seems to me that you are quite well off so I hope that lost money has not pinched your pocket too much.

Heh, thanks for not kicking Smiley I was bracing for impact.

Being well off... it's all relative.

I have a beautiful 4 months old daughter that makes me feel richer then Bill Gates !

Better to have little money and people you love around you then being filthy rich and alone, or a cynical dude who doesn't appreciate what he has.
But I digress.....
774  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EXPOSING PHENIXCOIN: The hype and possible scam on: September 27, 2013, 11:22:31 PM
PXC was not a scam. What it was is a series of failures. This I admit.

The problem is that too much was on the shoulders of one coder, and we got too excited with promoting stuff that wasn't ready to be launched yet in the first place. The Devs made promises for the next thing before the previous one was running well.

It's incompetence and over-enthousiasm, not pre-meditated scamming. Everyone lost money, most of all the dev team, MaGNeT and myself.

I've been doing a lot of soul-searching the last few days... taking a very critical look at my behaviour. Am I a scammer ? Did I lie ? Did i twist the truth for my own benefit ?

There were times, especially in the beginning, that I suggested people buy PXC. So yes, I was guilty of pumping.
I soon realized that was wrong and stopped it, and I became the PXC community leader. I set some communication guidelines for our team ( MaGNeT, Nawazish1, Torzsy, JeanCool ) with rule number one being : Do NOT tell people to buy PXC. No pumping in any way.

Did I ever lie ? No. I believed what I said.

I believed we'd have a fully functioning poker site, casino and exchange. I got too excited, and kept giving the benefit of the doubt to John whom I spoke a couple of times a week.
When you have a friendship with someone and they keep telling you plans about how great things are going to be, realistic sounding plans, you tend to believe them.
Maybe I won't be so quick to get my hopes up in the future.

I was always honest and tried my best to help people who had any pxc-related issues.  I'm sure all the people I've had PM conversations with over the last few months will agree with me on that.
I stayed polite and friendly even to the most unfriendly and disrespectful people. So my conscience is clear.

Now if only I could work up the guts to admit to my wife that I lost 3k EU of our money Wink

I feel like shit that I spend so much time and money on a coin that has crashed and burned. But nobody forced me to buy it.

I have nobody to blame but myself. This goes for angry people who feel like they have been scammed as well. While I am truly sorry that some of you have lost money, it's your own fault. That's how it goes with investments... sometimes you make money, sometimes you lose. Such is life.

For those who still hold PXC, all is not yet lost. I'm gauging the potential right now of rebooting PXC. Like the mythical animal, maybe it really can be reborn out of it's ashes. If we do re-launch, it's going to be very different from how it was. For one, there will be total transparency.

Note : ignoring trolls and attackers completely, was my idea. My goal was always to focus on building something, staying positive, and don't be dragged into the cynicism that runs wild on these forums.

I've seen some really cool and creative, positive people ( John Mangliaviti for example !)  get completely burned out by responding to crap from people like NWO, LaudaM, and ten others.  I've been on the internet for the last 20 years and I've never seen a place that's as bad as this subforum. A lot of frustrated, angry people here ! I hope those guys have some nice things in their lives too, but if they behave like that consistantly on a forum then they're probably very unhappy people in real life too. It's sad actually.

TLDR : No scam, just fail. But there is still hope.

When do you expect to be fixed a problem with a non-appeared WDC deposits?

Hard to say. I think most problems around deposits and withdraws have been fixed now. I can't promise anything other then he's working on it as fast as he can. Thanks for your patience !

777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] -=- Which coin would you like to see on PhenixEx ? -=- on: September 16, 2013, 07:36:52 PM
Looks like some coins are dissappear and some changing name...
New vote may be good idea.

Yeah, seems like a poll with that many options gets buggy. We'll launch a new one soon.
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Offical launch of PhenixCoin.com on: September 16, 2013, 06:47:13 PM
Mike has returned to the land of the living after a very rough week of illness. He's back on track and fixing all the issues that popped up while he was off the grid. Withdraws, deposits, and some server migration issues.

We're about to go live with fiat on PhenixEx.

Yeap, talk is cheap. But soon it won't be just talk. Thanks for your patience everyone.

I also sent some CDC to the exchange and after over 500 confirmations, it still doesn't show up in my balance.  Another person on CloudCoin ANN thread was asking if this coin was forked.

iamatrix was sick for a few days, really sick. He's going to fix all withdraw and deposit issues ASAP. Thanks for you patience !
