2 days ago. No it wasn't. Yes it was. This was not released 2 days ago, announcement as in ready to download - announcement isn't a thread. Regardless, all the coin information and client release time was announced 2 days ago and that was your initial question. And yes, announcement is a forum thread. If you just stop and think about it, why would I ask when a forum thread was created? Just think about it. If I am asking when it was announced, you don't think that Hey hang on a minute, maybe this guy wants to know when it was available to download? Why would he want to know when a thread was created. edit: I've been mining since 10 minutes after launch, and I've still not found a coin, so I'm not arguing to protect my investment. I just know troll when I see it.

Something strange going on here.
At the start I got like 4 blocks but I had to do a restart and when the wallet loaded back up the same number of transactions are there but the coins are gone.
Ok, I don't think much of it.
I chug along and gathered about 500 coins and tons of orphans like everyone else. I decide to test it again and sure enough after the restart the coins have disappeared from my wallet.
WTF?
It's like a trojan in the client stealing the coins.
It happened to me with CNC on launch; Got like 5 blocks, I closed it by mistake. When I opened the blocks were gone. I think you need to have it open and wait for the block or the orphan before close. |

With botnet it's the same what is the initial difficulty. I found 2 blocks with a very weak hashing power. If the diff were higher I'm sure I had 0.
So far I'm happy with the coin. A pool should be perfect.

6-10pm sucks so hard.
Would you rather no announcement and launch in the middle of the night like most of the other alt coins lately? lol From what I've seen lately, people on the forums go crazy when one of these coins is late, its no wonder they gave a time range instead of a specific time. There's more in the world than the USA... 6-10PM Eastern time == 4-8AM GMT+1 if I'm not mistaking.... That's not terrible, if the person is serious about this coin and is not in it for a pump and dump, 4am isn't asking them to move mountains. Besides, Whatever time you pick, someone's going to get screwed over, at least he's giving a 4 hour range, vs "Exact time" and causing a million people to start complaining. The problem is exact time is you will have everybody refreshing its browser the time given. And those with low hashrate always start mining without any chance. With a windows of 4 hours you make it more balanced. |
