BITCOIN Speculator CalculatorI made a simple and easy to use calculator for those who like speculate with finances. It's made on Excel 2003. Full calculator: Simply fill the Orange number with your desired bitcoins and selling price, and the calculator tells you the buying price to get a profit (and viceversa). For example, lets take the top-right calculator (BUY-SELL) EXAMPLE: I have Money and I will buy BTC and sell it later. 1 - I fill the market fee. For MT.GOX is 0,60% for each transaction. You can set any number, depending on the market you are using. 2 - Fill how much money you want to spend buying BTC. 3 - In the 3rd orange box complete the buying price; how much are you going to pay for each BTC. 4 - In the last orange box set the "selling price", how much you are going to sell the BTC after buying it.The calculator tells you ho much money you'll get, and the profit on percentage. The other 3 calculators let you choose first the porcentage, or sell first to buy BTC later. Don't be afraid of mess up the calculator, I blocked all the cells you don't need to modify. Any mistake, error, bug, let me know. DOWNLOAD:http://depositfiles.org/files/ut7a0cz83EDIT: I just received 0.01 BTC Thanks.

What operating system you use? I've tried from AMD SDK 2.4 to 2.8 version with the same error.
Windows 7 64 bits. When you uninstall the AMD SDK, the registry entries are deleted, but the files stay on the C:\Windows\SysWOW64 folder. You have to uninstall, and then delete manually the files: amdocl.dll and OpenCL.dll. After that, you can install other AMD SDK.

I lost 0.02 BTC , even when its only 2,50 dollars, I'm angry to see a website stealing the money of their users. "Trust no one" is the name of a post on the newbie area; I think it's right.

The best thing we can do is not to fight the scammer, but to educate people to no trust anyone.

I think the driver version is not important, but the AMD SDK version is. For example, I can use the driver 13.3 beta with the AMD SDK version 2.5; and the BFI_INT works.
Sadly it gives me less MHash on a 6770 and I'm thinking to change the whole driver (I don't want to).

Aggghhh! I keep getting message to setup CFG file! No idea how to do so! I see the CFG file, I click to open it and it brings up a blank screen...that's it! Click the Phoenix2 .exe file again and same message..."Looks like first time running Phoenix. Please edit Phoenix.cfg file". Same thing over and over for two days. Can someone please help me understand where I'm going wrong?
You have to paste the code. Check the DOC folder, and the "example.cfg" there you can find all the attributes you can use. For example, in my 6770 I'm using: [general] backend = http://USER:PASS@SERVER:PORT
[cl:1:0] kernel = phatk2 WORKSIZE = 128 AGGRESSION = 6 vectors4 = True

You go to the bank and tell them "here is my deposit of 100000 dollars" and they will say "where did you get it and why you didn't pay taxes?" and you say: "I win it on SatoshiDice".
Well, maybe it's true, but maybe this money comes from a legal business (fro example, selling hardware) and you didn't pay the taxes for that business. Then you say you get it from betting. That is money laundry.

My 6770 (very similar to yours) is getting 183 with stock clock of 850mhz. Im using Phoenix with:
WORKSIZE = 128 AGGRESSION = 6 VECTORS = true
I undervolted it from 1.20 to 1.05, and overclocked to 900mhz. Its stable with the memory on 1200mhz (the stock). And I managed to underclock it to 700 giving me better temps and less fan noise (45% controled by Speed fan).
Final temps: 60ºc CPU 71ºc Memory 45% Fan speed 194MHash
Hope it helps.

Countries has a big debt with banks, this debt is pay with peoples taxes. If people wash money, then banks do not receive their money.
So banks put pressure on goverments and minor banks, they say: - To goverment: "Make Gambling illegal, we want our share of peoples hard work". - To minor banks: "Block wire transfer to bet websites" - To credit cards and PayPal: "Block transaction to bet websites"
Now, about the legality of bitcoins, they are like the fantasy money the parks give you, or the money of some facebook games. This money is made for somebody else who is NOT a bank. And banks don't like competition, isn't it?

There is a little risk, the time you use mining litecoin can be used for mine bitcoins. Anyway, I think that Litecoin can reach a value of 10 dollars in one and a half year.

Try on ebay, if you can find a buyer for a pet rock, you can sell anything

In Buenos Aires it's 0,07 dollar kWh, but the goverment helps to pay for it (to everybody) and the final price is: 0,0088 kWh. Anyway, I'm sure you are not coming to BsAs Then again, you need to buy the GPUs overseas and entering them to Argentina... good luck! And then make sure you don't get robbed, kidnapped, assaulted, or the government decides to pull some trick to prevent computers to connect to the bitcoin network (unlikely) but with that president, you never know...! I think our president support bitcoin, she hates banks. It's sad to see the bad publicity the countries under protectionism economies countries have on the world. Anyway, you you are right, the hardware here is very very expensive.

They can make your ISP to block the IP. The goverment of USA has the control over the domains (see what happens with MegaUpload).
Anyway, I think bitcoins are not a problem for goverments, nor for economy. The only guys who should not like the bitcoins are banks, who has no control over it.
The great thing about bitcoin is that it show anything can be used as money, it's like the first old representation of money (gold, salt, shells, etc).
